He can not be that naive!!!
no, no, no...he needs to avoid the poison sign!! David has met a great guy and he is going to do what he will regret for the rest of his life. I just can't watch....
Very short serial
Not a bad start to the story, but does end right when it starts to get good. I'm not a big serial fan, but liked it enough I might eventually buy the other books.
It seems like stuff just happens to him without him really reflecting ...
When I read this story I am left with no understanding of the main character. It seems like stuff just happens to him without him really reflecting on it or actively participating.
I get that the professor is supposed to be alluring, but to me he comes across as completely unappealing and I can't for the life of me understand what the main character sees in him. Stories about being attracted to someone that is bad for you can be very compelling, but in this case I just end up loosing interest for all the characters.
This book was free when I got it, and it is obviously a small introduction to a follow up. I like this format where I get a feeling for the writing before I have to pay for the rest of the story. But since I can't seem to care for any of the characters I will be getting others books in this series.
