Learn the Incredible Story of '90s Basketball Superstar Reggie Miller!
In Reggie Miller: The Remarkable Story of One of '90s Basketball's Sharpest Shooters, you'll read about the inspirational story of basketball's premier shooting guard, Reggie Miller. Reggie Miller broke the record books during his incredible 18-year NBA career. In an age filled with greats like Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, Hakeem Olajuwon, and John Stockton, Reggie played in one of the most exciting eras of modern basketball. While the Indiana Pacers failed to win a ring during Reggie's tenure, they played some of the most spectacular playoff series in NBA history and made it to the NBA Finals in 1999-2000 before ultimately falling to the Los Angeles Lakers.
A hall of famer, Reggie Miller had one of the smoothest strokes that basketball has ever seen. While newer players like Steph Curry may statistically be the best shooters to play the game, Reggie Miller still easily remains a top shooting guard in NBA history.

Decent book
The book is specifically addressed to take one, right to the point. I consider the book a good short read. It can be read in only one sitting.
Interesting read, even for a non-sports fan
I'm not a big sports fan. I will watch a game occasionally, along as there is someone I'm with who really wants to watch it.
I am, however, a big reader of biographies. This short biography about the life and career of Reggie Miller is a very interesting read. Not only does it take you through his career, from high school to pro, but it also gives who an idea of who he was off the court. I especially enjoyed reading about his philanthropic work and his charities, including the Reggie Miller Foundation, which helped raise money for burn victims.
I would recommend this book to any sports fan, and also anyone who loves reading biographies.
Poorly written
Poorly written. I got this book because my 4th grade son needs to read more non-fiction. Lots of run on sentences and grammar errors, and boring, repetitive language. Very poor use of adjectives. It seems the author is a huge fan but not much of a writer. My son got lots of laughs out of the verbage.
It is a horrible book. Factually incorrect throughout
It is a horrible book. Factually incorrect throughout. I'm a life long Pacer fan and I know the facts.
Well written biography
Such an interesting biography covering the life and career of Reggie Miller. Until this point, I had no idea he was born into such an athletic family, or that he overcame a crippling birth defect. In my opinion, it was something of a miracle that he was able to ultimately achieve becoming a star athlete. The book is full of interesting stories and stats covering Reggie's early years, as well as his professional career. The humanitarian works he has been involved in since his retirement raised my admiration of the man. The book really brought Miller to life for me, no longer just seeing him as statistics on a piece of paper.
