More books with the Anderson family...Please!
So in love with this series. I have enjoyed the happily ever after endings in both book 1 & 2. I still feel there is more story that can be written for both books. Now on to book 3.
    Best author ever
Absolute joy terrene best author around, once you start you can't put it down or stop. Would recommend highly. Can't say enough good things
NOT NEARLY AS GOOD AS THE FIRST INSTALLMENT
Would you try another book from Melody Anne and/or Lilly Swan?
I kept waiting for the story to start... next thing I knew it was over. This second installment of the 4 Anderson brothers left a lot to be desired. Melody Anne seems to have used the same recipe from Billionare Wins the Game, which is fine because I loved the first installment. The sexual tension from Amy and Lucas really worked, but it was the Lucas Alpha and confident male that really made the first installment such a great read (or listen). In this second installment, Alex and Jessica never seemed to connect or get that feeling of them both loving each other. Alex and Jessica's families are friends and have done business before. Alex and Jessica knew each other from childhood, she's always had a crush on Alex... she was young and clumsy with braces. Fast forward a few years, and of course the ugly duckling is now a beautiful swan. Alex sees her from across the room at a fundraiser... then they end up in an elevator and the power goes out. She's a virgin, getting over a very bad relationship with a fiancé who only wanted her for her family's money, not really trusting men. But low and behold, while stuck in the elevator, it comes out that she's afraid of the dark, he admits he's afraid of monkeys (who knew??) but somehow she gets hot and bothered, forgets her inhibitions and they have hot elevator sex. Alex just powers through sex with her not realizing she was a virgin (really, no pain, no extreme tightness, no blood?), they are dressed in formal attire.

    Publisher's Summary:
Suzanne Brockmann has taken romantic suspense by storm with her action-packed thrillers. Now she has written the most gripping novel of her career - an unforgettable story of an explosive hostage situation in which two people are caught between the call of duty and the lure of destiny.

    Over The Edge
Love, love, love this story! I love both Teri and Stan's and the secondary story of Helga's childhood. I have read this over and over but this is the first time listening to it. The narrators are great and bring such terrific depth to the characters. What a pleasure to listen to.
    One of my favorites
Great read! This is one of my favorite books from the Troubleshooters series and Stan is one of my favorite heros. I love Stan and Terri's story. I'm looking forward to the rest of Sam and Alyssa's story and Max and Gina's.
    A great series -
Started in the middle and have been collecting other episodes ever since. though a series each stands alone. In this and others the author introduces current social dilemmas with sensitivity that raises books from mere romances. The thriller side is taught and keeps attention riveted. A thoroughly good listen!
    On the Edge!!
I quickly got into the story. Since it in an omniscient voice, I connected with the major players in the story almost instantly . I laughed. I cried. I chewed my fingers. I bit my lip. All of my favorite things rolled into one: action, romance, tension, suspense, and humor. The woven story of Helga was brilliant, and I loved that she became a heroine in her own right. This is a definite read for anyone who loves a man in uniform who is tough but has a serious heart of gold.
This is where the series gets truly addictive
If you could sum up Over the Edge in three words, what would they be?
    So Many Emotions
Who was your favorite character and why?
It's a tie between Stan and Sam. Stan's protectiveness towards Teri is heartwarming, and his willingness to sacrifice to save others, plus his hints of insecurities about himself endear him to listeners. Then there's Sam's realization that he wants more from Alyssa - when she walks in to find him sobbing, my heart was wrenched from my chest for him. That, along with the conclusion of Sam's story in this particular book left me sobbing.
What about Patrick Lawlor and Melanie Ewbank s performance did you like?
Patrick is always great. Melanie is much better in this book than the earlier two.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
    Yes.

    Fallen Crest High book 3
Samantha makes me sick. All she does is keep secrets from her friends, wonder why they end up mad. Her and Mason, keeps secrets from Logan. Not only that Sam, let them do things to Adam if it wasn't for Adam her bean pie head *** wouldn't of seen Mason again. All she do is HIDE behind Logan and Mason, like bih get a back bone and speak up, like sheesh girl, all she do is RUN from her problems. At first liked her but after half way through the first book and this book she became annoying as heck. Blah... I hope by the next book, she change. The is she even keep secrets from Mason, I feel like if you want people to trust you why keep secrets them boys there for her but she can be bitch a lot of times in my opinion. She's definitely damaged goods because of her mom, but I think once she rid of her mom she may change. "Maybe" and she still running off to Mason, if he end up in jail, where I know he won't go, I feel like she dc what her mom had to say. Tsk. Like girl neither of you not taking that threat seriously. But still she treats people (Adam), including others, like crap. But steady want hand outs and favors from them. Smh. Like how many times she suspected people to apologize. Her mom is a piece of crap though the way she treats her sheessh.
Good story I just wish narration was better
I really like Tijan books. I just wish the narrator could be better. I couldn't figure out which male was talking some of the time.
    I want a Kade
First let me say I love the Kade boys. I understood through the first book Sams like imploded and she needed to learn how to get a back bone. I would have thought she would have got one in the second book. Always hiding behind the Kades. She needs to seek therapy. Im hoping in the next book she has a back bone and stops keeping EVERYTHING so secretive from the boys. Some of the times she did stand up for herself surprised me. She could do it with some random guy but not with people who are supposed to be her friends.
    Soo good
This is one of my favorite new adult series. I love the chemistry between all the characters. The tight knit bond that is formed between Sam, Mason and Logan. The drama that unfolds. I could not put it down. Very well written- could not ask for more.
Narration was awesome as always. Great production.
    Another hit!
Would you listen to Fallen Crest Family again? Why?
Yes of course. I am addicted to Sam, Mason and Logan's story
What was one of the most memorable moments of Fallen Crest Family?
That is hard to describe because so many moments captured my attention. The characters are unique and the drama that surrounds them is so entertaining.
What does Saskia Maarleveld bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
She brings the characters to life.

Twelve years ago Matthew "the Rocket" Rising had it all. Married to his high school sweetheart and one of the winningest quarterbacks in the history of college football, he was the number one NFL draft pick. But on the night of the draft, he plummeted from the pinnacle of esteem. Falsely accused of a heinous crime with irrefutable evidence, it seemed in an instant all was lost--his reputation, his career, his freedom, and most devastatingly, the love of his life.
Having served his sentence and never played a down of professional football, Matthew leaves prison with one goal--to find his wife, Audrey, whom no one has seen since the trial. He returns to an unwelcoming reception from his Gardi, Georgia, hometown to learn that Audrey has taken shelter from the media with the nuns at a Catholic school. There she has discovered a young man with the talent to achieve the football career Matthew should have had. All he needs is the right coach. Although helping the boy means Matthew violates the conditions of his release and--if discovered--reincarceration for life, he'll take the chance with hope of winning back Audrey's love.

    Beautiful!!
Charles Martin is incredible. His stories are beautifully written and the detail and description he uses is unsurpassed. I wait for his books to come out. I'm still wondering why he hasn't had movies made of all of his books thus far. I know there have been talk, a good possibility again now, but why so long! He is hands down my favorite author and I appreciate his clean, honest, and uplifting moral and values he places in all of his books. We need more Charles Martins out there...thank you for your words and heart.
    Charled Martin does it again!
Where does A Life Intercepted rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
I always enjoy books by Charles Martin, but this is the first one I have listened to. I enjoyed it very much and would rank it toward the top. That means that it was moving, had good character development, and kept me up late at night!
What other book might you compare A Life Intercepted to and why?
His last novel before A Life Intercepted was Unwritten. It was excellent, too.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
    The end is amazing!
    Any additional comments?
For those looking for good reads without graphic sex and bad language, Charles Martin is a great choice. He has "bad guys" and action, but he does not fill his books with cheap talk.
    Did Not Like It.
The narrator was really good but the story was too depressing and the constant football theme was BORING. When I got @ 4 hour from the end I had to quit. The analogy with the poor abused dog was too much for me.
You just can't go wrong with Charles Martin.
I have a variety of books and Authors that I love to listen to over and over again. Charles Martin is one at the top of the list. All his books are base on a beautiful philosophy. Sometimes, bad things happen to good people, but you don't have to be brought down because of it. All of his main characters see the beauty of rising above and living to higher level. You gotta love a guy who gets knocked down but gets back up so gracefully that he brings everyone else up with him.

    Nice beach love story
This was a very typical love story that happens quite often. Women often have a requirements list if qualities they want their husband to be packaged with. However that is not always true love so it was refreshing to witness these characters be ok with true love instead of the status quo
    Sweet, funny, and adoravel!
I love this one! Sweet, and just what I needed today! I want to visit Michigan!
    2nd book by T Brogan
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would with a note to say somewhat stuffed with fluff. Or something. I absolutely loved My Kind of You. It kept you guessing, mysterious things, unsure who the P would end up with, so many choices. This book was ok but I FF through the toys party, and a few other parts. Finally went to the last two chapters to find out who she ended up with, even though I knew. I like her and her friends and who wouldn't love Tyler it there just wasn't enough story there. MY KInd was so funny, and well you don't get a perfect book very often.
I will look for this author again though I believe she is developing into someone to search for in Audible, please get your narrators right. I liked this one.
What does Amy McFadden bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
Amy McFadden is a great narrator.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
    No
    Absolutely loved this book!
Tracy Brogan is Amazing. This light hearted, funny story was worth listening to and me with a permanent smile on my face.
I want to. live in Bell Harbor!
These books are great. I want live in Bell Harbor and know these people. I wish a TV mini Series would be made from this series. But to the T. No changes. Everyone & everything tge same. I laughed so hard my co_workers think Im crazy.

    Narration Lacking
The story is predictable and might have been entertaining with a different narrator. Mr. Daniels read this love story like it was a western.
Who wrote this from Nora's formula?
What could Nora Roberts have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
    Try making it more plausible.
What didnt you like about Luke Danielss performance?
I think you can be a rugged guy without sounding like a thug
    Over narrated
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Story is good. But no I would not.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Return of Rafe MacKade?
    The chilling ghosts
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Luke Daniels?
I dont know but for sure not him. It was not good. To much violence in his voice.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
    I dont know.
    Any additional comments?
Story is good not NR's best but the caracters are great. Sadly the narator did a poor job of it.
    Couldn't finish it.
    Any additional comments?
The male protagonist was completely worthless. There was no possibility of empathy.
    Loved this!
I'm a HUGE Roberts/Robb fan. This was one of the best. Short, sexy, fabulous.

But Bryces rage over his impending fatherhood touched off a chain reaction of emotional and physical traumas that wounded them both. For Bronwyn, it meant fleeing the perfect marriage to start over with nothing but a precocious daughter named Kayla to care for. For Bryce, it meant a tortuous two years spent blaming his wife for deserting him, and living with the pain of not knowing his child. Now a chance encounter has brought Bronwyn back into Bryces life, both bearing scars...and neither knowing the whole truth of that fateful night that drove them apart.

    Great sequal!
I really like these break up, but not.... books... I feel for the (h) characters... they are written so well. I really am becoming a Natasha Anders fan here... I loved the first book, totally love this one too. The hubby... boy what character development. I simply love who real these books are... like all the characters have flaws that make them a bit more realistic...then get a narrator like Eyre... Seriously...that gained this series an extra star!
    Great sale or credit!
    What A Drama!!!!
I enjoy the story, felt sympathy for Bronwyn and understand her point of view not want to reconcile with her husband. The story teach us about forgiveness and trust, the most valuable commodities in marriage. Lovely story!!!
A Roller Coaster of Emotions But Worth It.
A husband's over the top reaction to an unwanted pregnancy ends up in years of misery and misunderstandings. Wished the heroine had a lot more backbone in certain parts of the story. She also cried a lot but a small detail compare to the rest of this amazing story. Ms Anders' characters are flawed, especially her heroes. I think Theresa, in the previous book, showed more strength of character than Brownyn. Another excellent story from Ms Anders.
As for the narrator, she is okay. Her accent is an issue but not a huge one. One can still understand most of what she says.
Good if you are having trouble sleeping.
Nothing ever really happened in this book. There was no plot. This was a lot of drawn out dribble about a jerk who treated a woman like crap and a woman who let him, over and over and over and over again. Snooze. I can never 'not' finish a book once I've started it, no matter how bad it is. Once I'm invested in a story I have to finish it. This is the only book I've ever started but just lost interest and couldn't finish. Life is tough enough that I don't need to live someone's misery hour after hour. There was no point to the story if you want to call it a story. No drama other than a spoiled rich boy having tantrums. I don't understand how this got the ratings it did. The first book in the series was pretty good. I was so disappointed by this one. I finally gave up and bought something else.
Read don't listen to this book
Would you try another book from Natasha Anders and/or Justine Eyre?
Yes to both but I'd make sure the narrator was narrating a book that her accent fits.

Does being nobody's fool mean that you're nobody's love?
Colleen O'Rourke is in love with lovejust not when it comes to herself. Most nights, she can be found behind the bar at the Manningsport, New York, tavern she owns with her twin brother, doling out romantic advice to the lovelorn, mixing martinis, and staying more or less happily single. Ten years ago Lucas Campbell, her first love, broke her heart - an experience Colleen doesn't want to have again, thank you very much. Since then, she's been happy with a fling here and there, some elite-level flirting, and playing matchmaker to her friends.
But a family emergency has brought Lucas back to town, handsome as ever and still the only man who's ever been able to crack her defenses. Seems like maybe they've got some unfinished business waiting for them, but to find out, Colleen has to let her guard down or risk losing a second chance with the only man she's ever loved.

Just once, Id love to be heartbroken ..."
Colleen is great. Beautiful, strong, independent, flirt, and still in love with the only boy/man she has ever been in love with. Lucas is successful, married into a wealthy family after having nothing his whole life. Now, he is back in Manningsport to look after his adult cousin because his uncle is dying. After Lucas' father was sent to prison, his uncle Joe took him in but Lucas never received the same treatment as his cousin Bryce (because of his B*^$% aunt - not his uncle). After the breakup with Colleen, Lucas moved on - or so he tried to tell himself. Now he is divorced and back in town. Colleen knows he will break her heart and she is helpless to stop it.
H considerate of everyone except h - puzzling
Mostly a very good novel. I felt sad and frustrated for the female protagonist. While there's plenty of information about H's past to understand his character and empathize, it wasn't clear to me why he never seemed to put h first. On the contrary, he seemed to always be more considerate of other important people in his life. I liked the other characters, their stories and there is much to recommend the book. My rating would have neem higher but there was just too much imbalance in the relationship. Since H made bigger mistakes leading to the end of their relationship, it was too frustrating that he didn't fight for h. H clearly wasn't able to move on while he was able to make the best of the situation. By the end, the parts about the past show how she deeply missed him while she was more of a distant thought for him. It was clear her feelings were significantly stronger .... spoilers.... and he was able to develop a loving relationship with his wife and her family. He returned to her only after his sister took another position and was no longer planning to work with him.
    Pass
Not the best. Too much talk of her 'special places'. Not enough depth of characters. Just lots of dumb, childish conversations in a bar.
I have mixed feelings about this one!
Story begins with a high school romance and first time love for both Lucas and Colleen. After high school, Lucas leaves for college and they keep a long distance relationship but then they separate due to misunderstandings and unmet expectations.

    I loved this book!
I can't wait for more books based on these characters. I got hooked immediately and got a good sense of who they were and why they behaved the way they did. Good writing, excellent internal monologues. I highly recommend this book.
AUDIBLE...PLEASE GET "LAST LIGHT", #2 ON AUDIOBOOK
I have been patient, I think...but I cannot wait anymore. "LAST LIGHT" has been out in print for like 2 years...I need to hear the continuation of this series! For those of you out there that have yet to listen to NIGHT OWL, the first book in this fantastically raunchy series, make the purchase and allow Ms. Duvall to set you aflame. This book is smokin hot and it has left me panting for more. PLEASE, AUDIBLE...PUT "LAST LIGHT" ON YOUR "TO BE RECORDED IN OUR STUDIO" list. Thank you, that is all...for now.
    An ABSOLUTE must read/listen!!!
Have you ever been completely blown away by a book? Well, this one did it for me!! I can't even put into words how much I loved this book! It is an absolute must read! Matt and Hannah are so very hot together!!! Can't wait to read the rest of their story!
    Loved it
First I have to tell you that I read the book 1st. I really enjoyed the book and wanted to hear the audiobook. So, to the people who did enjoy the book I do you recommend the audiobook. It is highly enjoyable. Even if you already read the book, I think you enjoy this format. The narration is excellent.
in M. Pierce withdrawal; More, please!
Please, please release the next book in this trilogy at Audible very, very, very soon. M. Pierce has been added to the small listonly 5of authors on Audible whose books I rarely if ever deny myself. And, having purchased over 1400 books, thats a small percentage of authors about which I feel this way. So this story was a wonderful surprise. Im so often disappointed in books that I buy due to the great reviews, but, thankfully, not this time. NOT THIS TIME!!! It has renewed at least some of my faith in book reviews. This is smart, intense, character-driven, plot-laden, highly sexual and romantic erotica. GIVE ME MORE!!
This story almost seems like a genre of its own. This story is sexual suspense centered on the unraveling of 28-yr-old Matt who unravels through his lust-filled pursuit of Hannah, his initially anonymous internet writing partner. Matt is one messed up dude. The story was sad and funny in a pathetic kind of way. I knew the author had me when I was rooting for Matt to return to being rude, raunchy and rough.

Eight years ago, Sophie gave her heart - and her virginity - to Zach Barrett on a night that couldn't have been less romantic or more embarrassing. Zach's stepbrother, a steely-muscled, tattooed biker named Ruger, caught them in the act, getting a peep show of Sophie he's never forgotten.
She may have lost her dignity that fateful night, but Sophie also gained something precious - her son Noah. Unfortunately, Zach's a deadbeat dad, leaving Ruger as Noah's only male role model. When he discovers Sophie and his nephew living in near poverty, Ruger takes matters into his own hands - with the help of the Reapers Motorcycle Club - to give them a better life.
Living with outlaw bikers wasn't Sophie's plan for her son, but Ruger isn't giving her a choice. He'll be there for Noah, whether she wants him or not. But Sophie does want him, has always wanted him. Now she'll learn that taking a biker to bed can get a girl dirty in every way....
    Critic Reviews:
"Filled with rough language, no-holds-barred sex, the rumblings of a biker war, and threats from the past, this fast-paced novel entertains while setting up the next book in the series." (Publishers Weekly)

Great Story, Narration, and I want MORE MORE MORE!
I'm so completely sold on this MC!! This was an excellent follow up to the first book. You've gotta love a tough guy that steps in to be a provider and handle business when necessary, so I was totally in love with Ruger from the start. I was equally excited that Tatiana Sokolov was narrating. Haberkorn--he was kind of 'meh', I've heard better, but Sokolov's 'biker gruff' adds that little extra something for me. So far, it seems that there are a host of other interesting characters which hopefully is an indication that there will be more books to come SOON! Reaper's MC will continue to be an automatic purchase for me, loved it!
    Another hot biker!
Great story, Ruger is so hot! I just wish the same narrator from Reapers Property did this one too. Dual narrator was different... both did good but it would of been better with just 1. Love Joanna Wylde Reaper's books!! Can't wait for the 3rd & 4th! Well worth the credit :)
    I Need A Biker.....Hot,Hot, Hot!
You have to love those Reapers! This was another great hit for me. I think that this biker gang really captivates you. It is totally believable and you get sucked right in. I love that both books have reoccurring characters but are still very different. The author explains the name thing, which I think many people questioned so now it really makes you see past the funny biker names. Sophie and Zack are a train wreck and you have to love how she has become a strong independent woman trying to take care of her son. She does not complain and does not easily fall into the biker life. Ruger is tough, funny, domineering and sexy. I like that he doesnt just give up and that he continues to help even though she keeps sending him away. The chemistry was great and the dialogue between them was fun to listen to. I really enjoyed the biker woman and that even though they are Property they hold their own. It shows that you can be tough and taken care of all at the same time. Somehow the author takes this biker club and makes you understand the family connection and supportive atmosphere.
