Love the Bennetts!

Bennetts...Bennetts... and more Bennetts! Words cannot describe how much I love the Bennetts! Love Layla Hagen! Love the story of Max & Emilia! Theyve been the best of friends since they were little kids but lost touch after Emilia moved out. Narrators did a great job as well.

Addictive

Another fantastic addition to this addictive series.

Max and Emilia were childhood friends that re-connect as adults and they are explosive together. I really liked how the additional storyline of Emilia's grandmother was written, Alzheimer's is shown in a sensitive, yet honest light and shows the effects it has on both the person and the family. Layla Hagen never fails to impress me with her compassionate style of writing.

Sebastian York is just delicious as Max, he performs him perfectly.

This is the first audiobook I've listened to from Lidia Dornet and I really enjoyed it, at times I did have to pay closer attention to change of male to female characters as it wasn't always obvious but that just made me focus more, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Max is amazing!

Well HotDamn Romance

Lets just say Lance isn't the player I thought him to be, and Tash wasn't who she seems from the previous books. OMG and Pippa, she is so sweet and understanding... the total opposite of Tash. No spoilers here, well worth your last credit. Run to the checkout with this Hockey hunk listen!!

So Pucking Sexy!

Lance is so Pucking sexy, and Poppy is one lucky girl. This book is strangely sweet... mostly because it was a surprise to find Lance to be such a sweetheart. Like earlier books in this series, Pucked Off is laugh aloud funny with quirky characters, flirty banter and a whole lot of delicious sexiness.

The ultimate in audio entertainment by a fabulous author and two talented narrators.

I loved this story. Very sweet and amazing narration! Nice to hear his story after getting glimpses here and there throughout the other books in the series. I would recommend to listen to the other books in this series first!

Everything!! I love the story, the characters, the angst, the humor. I loved everything!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lance of course. I knew I'd love him but I never expected to love him that much!! <3

What does Rose Dioro and Jacob Morgan bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

Jacob Morgan did an amazing job, especially with his accent. He transmited Lance's personality into his voice, smooth and strong but sometimes vulnerable. I really really loved him as Lance. But Rose Dioro did an okay job. Her tone of voice was so soft and low and I had a little difficult listening to her chapters.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I cried so many times. The first time I read it, my heart broke in so many pieces and when I thought I had collected them to glue them all together, I listened to the audiobook and now I don't think I'll be able to fix it any time soon. But the ending of this book was so beautifu and perfect, that I dont mind the broken hearted at all.

Love Lance, love his girl and love everything about this book.

I loved Lance and his whole story. You could feel his story building up in the Pucked series, and I wasn't sure I would like him very much because of his history in the books.

Great Story, Lots of Heroes!

My first Abbie Zander's story was a pleasant find! Dangerous Secrets had a great plot that keeps the listener in suspense. It's an instant love story, one where it seemed the H/h spent more time apart than together. Due to the separation, I didn't really feel the chemistry, and attraction between the H/h; however, I enjoyed the plot enough to listen to the next audio in the series.

Some Spoilers;

Lots of heroes in this one! Taryn (heroine) was on the run from a psycho, and had been staying off the grid. She met Jake (hero) outside his pub when her car broke down, and ended up stranded. While she was waiting for her car to be fixed, she worked temporarily at Jake 's pub to earn some cash. There was an immediate attraction between them that quickly developed. They had a few heated moments together, but Jake sensed something wasn't right. Trained as a SEAL, he believed she's running from something. He asked his brothers to help him investigate and follow her. Taryn knew she had to keep moving to ensure she was not caught, and to prevent Jake from getting hurt. While shopping, she secretly took off. Before Taryn actually fled, Jake had already called one of his other brothers (Cain), who secretly intercepted Taryn. Cain cleverly convinced Taryn to stay at his secluded cabin by making subtle hints and suggestions. She was reluctant at first, but felt safe enough to stay with Cain at his cabin. Taryn and Cain developed a friendship as they went about day to day activities. He didn't tell Taryn he was actually Jake's brother, and was asked to keep her safe, while Jake investigated why Taryn was on the run. When Jake learned why Taryn was on the run, he made an appearance at the cabin. Taryn flees from the cabin thinking Jake betrayed her since he learned the truth. For days, Jake, and his brothers search for her; however, Jake's father knew exactly where she was the whole time, and secretly monitored her movements, but didn't tell Jake. Just when the psycho was closing in on Taryn's location, Jake realized his father knew Taryn's location the whole time. They all go to rescue her.

This story demonstrated how strong Jake's relationship was with this family, and how well they worked together as a team doing co-ops, but I think the time the Taryn spent with Cain at the cabin could have been used to further develop the relationship between Taryn and Jake.

A HOT LITTLE TREAT TO KICK THE SERIES OFF

This is the sort of book I would normally have passed on (YA and a Novella).. but, because I'd just listened to Vicious' book, and been wowed by it, I had to go back to the beginning and hear Jamie's story too.

So, twenty six year old Teacher Melody bagged herself an eighteen year old toy boy! and not just any toy boy.. oh no, he was one of the School's infamous sexy Four Hotholes - all entitled privileged bad boys, who were cocky handsome troublemakers whose charismatic personalities and rich parents got them out of trouble. However, underneath their reckless bravados there was usually something missing at home that made them that way.. so now this tight Brotherhood partied together, watched each other's backs, did whatever they liked and f everyone else. Jamie should've stayed away from her - he was eighteen, he was in her Literature class and he was the Principle's son - but when did he ever follow rules? he knew what he wanted - Melody.. and he just wasn't going to take "no" for an answer.

Melody had been a ballerina but an injury when she was 18 had forced her life in a different direction.. one she was hating and spectacularly failing at so, when she accidentally reversed her old car into Jamie's shiny new one, she thought it was yet another disastrous thing in her life. However, Melody was very wrong.. because it was the start of Jamie's plans.. plans that would lead to clandestine meetings, stolen kisses, steamy sex, whispered words of heady needs, rocky roads.. and a love that defied boundaries, defied threats and defied all the odds. I really enjoyed this short listen but it did suffer a wee bit by being only a novella.. I wish it had been a much longer book in the series because Melody and Jamie's story deserved more. But wishes don't make it so and it is what it is.. a prequel, a tasty treat and a taste of things to come in the Sinners of Saint series. It's a forbidden love story, a romance that disregarded an eight year age gap and a story that has angst, drama and secrets. It had a storyline that kept my interest, made me think, made me swoon, totally entertained me and ended on a very sweet HEA. Melody owned her sexuality and knew what she wanted.. Jamie - and he was one possessive, self-assured, sexy and determined alpha.

Loved Travis & Viola's story!!!

A beautiful ending to this duet! You'll love the characters. You must listen to both books. You will not be disappointed. Their story has it all and I look forward to Courtney & Drew's own story!!

My Two Pennies

The way we were left with book one I was dying to jump into this book and see what happened. Travis & Viola are still one helluva team but I just want to scream at them for keeping Drew out of the loop. Their arguments to keep the illusion of what they want everyone to believe are still alive and kicking but when they're alone together it's absolutely amazing. Just when you think Travis can't get any sweeter he takes it to the next level. I love how this story develops and I was squeaking with excitement at times. Courtney and her over the top Crush on Drew has me cracking up with her comments. This is such a great read I loved every minute.

Good book!

After that cliffhanger in the first book I couldn't wait to start this book. It was good, some parts dragged. I can't wait did her next book.

I loved Courtney this time around the most! She's so sassy and funny, but a complete nerd at heart! I also really enjoyed Travis, with his cocky attitude and heart of gold. All the characters are wonderful in their own ways!

Fire in You

I've read every book in this series and I'm glad to hear that Brock and Jillian finally got together. I enjoyed the series immensely because of how the characters over came so many obstacles in their life and found someone who understand them. It's what we all want in life to find the other half of ourselves.

Sophie Eastlake knocked it out of the park, so the change in narration made this book fall short for me.

I love Jennifer L. Armentrout.

Her books NEVER disappoint. Her story's provide enough angst and subsequent personal growth and lessons learned on roads traveled to lead to a HEA ending. Always great reads!!

Ok getting to this book is bitter sweet, I just had to do a series re read because well I love this series.

And it has been utterly wonderful getting to experience these old friends again.

Finding out this book was about Brock I was like yay!

Even if I am still holding out hope, for a Katie (the striper/physic) book one day.

I went it as blind as I could, and I loved it. Jillian and Brock are amazing.

Dylan and Tiffany- one hot couple

Melissa Foster is one of my favorite authors. I love the Bad Boys series. I listened to the book while flying cross country. I have to say, I am a very anxious flyer but this book relaxed me and made me forget my fear of flying. I find Paul Woodson's narration soothing and relaxing.

Tiffany, who owned a successful sports management agency worked hard to keep her reputation perfect. She knew she had an uphill battle working in a field that is traditionally a male oriented profession. She was available to her clients 24/7. Tiffany built up that wall around her heart until she met Dylan. Dylan managed to break down that wall and showed Tiffany there is more to life then work work work. Dylan was aware of Tiffany's work habits but managed to sneak in there and without Tiffany realizing it turned her life around and showed her how to woo her to relax and enjoy life. Dylan has a compassion for others. Not your typical rich boy. He gets his hands dirty and gives his time to help others too. When these 2 come together all bets are off and the sizzle was off the charts.

I highly recommend this audio book to anyone who likes to listen to hot and steamy romances!

Slowly Dylan nudges his way into Tiffany's life and shows her that there is room for work and play. Slowly, Tiffany sees that by sharing her life with someone it makes her stronger, not weaker and she begins to let her guard down.

This was a pretty good story. I had some mixed feelings about the story because the story was really good but there were a few points of annoyance/WTF moments that caused my opinion to waver a bit. It ended well though so my overall rating stands. :)

Lou is a barista that volunteers for the Field County's ice rescue dive team. She grew up in an uptight family with parents that wanted her subservient and willing to marry her step-father's second-in-command with no thought of what she wanted. She finally broke free and moved to the mountains but her parents aren't supportive and seem to prefer her Ex over her, still waiting for her to "come to her senses!".

Callum is Captain of the Field County's ice rescue dive team. He's a very controlled and commanding person that does well in his position. Callum grew up with a single mother that couldn't do anything for herself and brought losers into their home constantly. Callum is nothing like that and has been single a while when the story begins.

Lou and Callum have had a weird relationship for the first few months she's been on the dive team before this story begins. Callum liked Lou and was trying not to show it so he kept their communication very professional/instructive/lecturing. Lou was definitely attracted to Callum but thought she annoyed him because of his constant stern demeanor around her. Also, there was the small issue of Lou speaking her mind often and part of that included how hot she thought some of the men around her are hot. Some of which is within hearing distance of Callum, leading him to think she was seriously interested in these men when she was actually just making passing comments in general and has no lasting interest in any man other than Callum. When the story begins, this is how things are going between Lou and Callum. The dive team has a training session that leads to finding a dead body that the police is having trouble identifying. This prompts Lou to start s a Nancy Drew type investigation into the identity of the body and Callum gets pulled into it.

The larger part of the story becomes the stalker that Lou has...she doesn't even know it at first but she starts having a string issues that could just be bad luck. However, when she finds out her flat tires have actually been slashed, she realizes it's intentional and the police get involved.

A SWEET & SEXY FEEL-GOOD LOVE STORY

What a great couple Brody and Alyssa were.. the ex Con and the soft hearted Heiress who owns/runs a pet rescue sanctuary and, through understanding, determination and kindness Alyssa wins a heart that's been damaged, betrayed and frozen. Brody is all Alpha when needed, sexy when in the moody (which is all the time) and loving when Alyssa finally cracks his hard shell.

There's a good build-up to their relationship, sex, angst and drama caused by a couple of twisted ex's and a touching love story threaded throughout that ends in a sweet HEA ending for both Brody and Alyssa and Hunter and Gabby from book 1. Although these are easily standalone listens, and I have listened to these books out of order, it may be best to leave the last book in the series to the end so you can bask in all the couple's final HEA's. Dual POV and good narration.

Worth a credit? Yes, you can rely on Sawyer Bennett to deliver an entertaining story with a sexy Hero and a worthy Heroine who'll take you on their addictive journey as soulmates find each other.

Great start to a new series!

This audiobook was about romance in a small coastal town in the Carolina Outer Banks. The characters are fresh and complex and the story was a good one. The narration was excellent.
