Very enjoyable!

I am huge J. Ashley fan, so I usually enjoy anything from this author...but honestly these Shifter Unbound books are awesome! We r getting so close to finding out the whole collar thing and how to get them off our smexy shifters! I simply love how J.A. weaves the two shiftertowns together, and now with Jace mating a shifter from Austin...well it one big o'l happy family.

This book goes deeper into the faire realm, more so than book 2 and Jace's book.The plot is getting deeper but so enjoyable!

Well worth the credit or a sale...maybe not a buy...as it's over 10 bucks...

If you could sum up Wild Wolf in three words, what would they be?

The story was good and the narrator did a great job, for some reason it just didn't click 100% for me.

Difficult

It's hard to see Graham has a leading man and to fall in love with him due to the past he's the villain but seeing him through his true mate eyes and we see a great sexy passionate man

I'm a big Jennifer Ashley fan, but the Narrator was extremely monotone, in my opinion and ruined the story. Avoid this Narrator!

Good story and love the narration

This was the second book in the series and you had to listen to or read the first one to follow along. I thought the narration was great and love Sophie Eastlake so it was easy to listen to. The characters were strong and good, the interaction between them was amazing. The story grabs you and keeps you looking for more.

I love Thea Harrison, however

The story just moved a bit slow for me. Literally, I cranked it up to 3x the speed and got through it quickly. It's interesting just too slow for me.

Entertaining Teen Paranormal Romance

Would you consider the audio edition of Shadowflesh to be better than the print version?

Perhaps it is better to listen than to read the book. I haven't read the book, only listened to the narration as a matter of my personal preference.

What did you like best about this story?

The paranormal romance had a unique twist.

What about Jerry Tritles performance did you like?

A dark mellow voice with a youthful sound. This was difficult because the main character, written in the first person, was a young teen girl. But it worked.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Going into Addison's world of paranormal existence. It put it all together. Nice descriptions of a surreal world.

Nicely done. I recommend this for the young teen looking for a paranormal romance.

Chasing Morgan is a thrilling, passionate romance full of twists and turns. Its not necessarily a lighthearted story, but it is powerful and shows the incredible lengths that one woman will go through to watch over those she holds dear.

My heart went out to our heroine Morgan, for all that she dealt with growing up. She didn't have a good home life and raised herself after a family tragedy changed her path forever. But she persevered and became a success, no thanks to her father or sister. I was impressed with her strength and sense of morals. Morgan gave so much to everyone else to ensure they would be safe, yet she had no one to take care of her and her own needs.

Tyler was surrounded by family and friends and had their support in everything he did. But like her, he longed to find that one person he was meant to be with forever and wanted to have children. Tyler had to learn that sometimes what youre searching for can be right in front of you if you just open up to the possibilities.

I really enjoyed Chasing Morgan. Jennifer Redeemed her-self from the terrible third book in this series. The plot was intriguing and the added suspense of murder investigations made this book very hard to put down. The characters were engaging. And there was so much passion and emotional connection between them, that I couldn't help but be drawn in. Definitely recommended... :)

This book as well as this series has been phenomenal. The narrator is excellent. This more than exceeded all of my expectations.

A terrific addition to the Hunted series. Each story stands on it's own but is enhanced when read in order.

We have seen and heard about Tyler and Morgan individually often since Lucky Like Us. We have been waiting for them to meet again knowing it would be explosive. I was not disappointed. The story had me on the edge of my seat almost from the beginning. It is fast paced and full of action (of one kind or another).

Not her best at all

This was a lame story and very hard to stay interested. I loved her first two, but the last two were boring and was hard to hold my interest. I do love the narrator.

Regan and Than Took Me by Surprise

Just a warning... you may not want to read this review if you haven't read any other books in the Lords of Deliverance series. I don't believe in spoilers, but there will be references to the previous books. I won't give away anything from Lethal Rider though, promise. So if you've read Eternal Rider and Immortal Rider, you're safe.

I have to admit, I was wondering exactly how Larissa Ione was going to endear Regan to readers. She didn't exactly make a great first impression in when she was introduced Immortal Rider. Readers could tell that she regretted her decision to take advantage of Than. Once she got to know him she realized that he wasn't the monster that she had once thought him to be, but she still didn't take the time to get to know the real Horseman. She was a character that I really didn't like. I knew that Larissa Ione would find a way to change my attitude toward her, but what I didn't expect was that I would find myself sympathizing with her as much as I did with Than (well, almost.) Sneaky, sneaky authors! ;)

Than spent his centuries of existence celibate. Not by choice but out of necessity. Regan not only tricked him into having sex with her but did it so she could have his child. That one act made this relationship doomed from the start. At the end of Immortal Rider, Limos and Ares had to trap Than and keep him immobile so he wouldn't destroy everything and everyone around him. Regan had left and was hidden away by the Aegis so Than and the rest of the Horsemen couldn't find her and her unborn son. In theory, there should be no possible way that these two could end up in a HEA situation. The possibility that our beloved characters will overcome impossible odds is exactly why we read these books though isn't it? Umm... that and the smexy moments that occur in the process.

By the time I had finished Immortal Rider, I was a true Than/Regan fan. Both characters provided quite a few heart wrenching moments and the love that grew between them was totally believable. Who knew? Well, actually I probably should have. Larissa Ione has yet to disappoint me with any of the books in either series. Yep, I'm hooked.

I started reading this series before I read the Demonica Series.

2.5 stars - Darkest of the series, and my least favorite leading lady by far

No blurb this time 'round. This Demonica spinoff and the Demonica books themselves have always had some darkness to them but this first part of book was filled with torture of the hero, violation of a continuing character, and more of Pestilence's depravity just tossed off in the background. I started Immortal Rider the day it came out and read the first hundred pages and then I just got tired of being bludgeoned with how evil the bad guys were and set the book aside.

I did end up picking this back up, but I struggled through to the 2/3rds mark where the action finally kicked in. I think that the reason that this was such a difficult read for me is that I just never got to the point where I clicked with Limos, actually I didn't much like her and never came to care about her redemption. Normally, a great hero can offset a less than stellar heroine but Arik, despite his interesting history and secret powers, was pretty generic for a leading man. It didn't help that the romance between them didn't work for me either, how does one get past all the deception and torture - not as easy breezy as it is done here for sure.

One of the things that kept me reading to the bitter end was that I really liked Thanatos and his thread had a better build up than Limos/Arik's right up to the 'completion' of Regan's mission which was shockingly terrible. In fact all of the 'deflowerings' in Immortal Rider were squicky. So the lack of the normally uber steamy build up to a satisfying consummation - times two - dropped the book from okay to not.

So bottom line, I am not exactly sure what to say. I guess that Immortal Rider felt more UF-y and less romance-y to me (or perhaps horror/romance-y), the focus is not as much on the relationship as the events, and putting the elements of the Apocalypse in play.

Tigress - A Breathtaking Adventure

This story is definitely a battle of wits -- a tough fight for survival for Damien and Naomi, and even for Michael (the Archangel). This second story in the series features a running conflict with the demons they encountered in the previous book, and a surprising development in the final chapter. I really enjoyed reading the book, and look forward to reading the next story.

The End of a Trilogy.....or is it????

This is the third book in this wonderful series, and although I thought this to be a trilogy, I can see more to come if the author so chooses. J.E. Taylor has brought us a wonderful story spanning three books, culminating with Trinity Rising.

We began by meeting Naomi Hawk in a precarious position, making a decision on whether to let a demon take her to Lucifer or jump out off an eighty foot ledge. Lucifer wants to drain her for her life force. She has learned she is a âchild of the lightâ. As she plummets towards the ground she feels herself being grabbed and is rescued by one angry vampire. Her angry savior is Damian, one hot sexy thing, who also wants her death. And so our story began.

I had no idea Night Hawk series would be a vampire story, but yet again, an author has turned the tables on me and given me a fast paced story filled with vampires, demons, and Archangel Michael thrown in. The author writes well with each chapter a POV of Naomi or Damien, keeping the reader in the minds of both of these characters and what they are feeling. From that one moment on the ledge, these two have grown through the series, Naomi growing into a stronger woman, and Damien to a loving partner. The two personalities each bounce off each other and give the reader both tense and tender moments as the storyline continues.

Since book 2, Tigress, ended so abruptly, readers have been waiting for this book 3 anxiously, and it certainly didn't disappoint. On the run once again, Naomi and Damien now human, both in a different place physically, have to match wits with the paranormals, and have to think differently. Lucifer is hunting Naomi, wanting to claim their baby. Lucifer sets up Damien hoping to flush them out as they are on the run from the police. Help comes from an unlikely place as they run into ex-FBI agent Steve Williams and his family; âa family with enough psychic energy to wage a war and realign the universe.

In writing this review, I noticed that Steve Williams is already a character in another series that is written by this author. In checking further it seems an established series with 5 or so books under itâs belt, so I certainly will be looking for it to be added to my ever growing TBR pile.

Trinity Rising is one fast paced bloody, scary ride, as Lucifer has no other thought than fighting to the death.

Laura Anne Gilman has created a wonderful new leading lady, Bonnie Torres. While most readers/listeners will not be able to relate to her affluence, everyone can relate to her immaturity and free acceptance of love in all its glorious shapes, colors, and smells. Bonnie is truly a flawed heroine that we can all enthusiastically support. Romy Nordlinger does a great job bringing this novel to life.

Overall good

I didn't know what to make of this at first but it pulled me in. I think the ideas were fun and exciting and the author is pretty good. Overall good listen and fun. I must say the narrator Romy Nordlinger is exceptionally good and made the experience for me.

Forensic magic...

I liked Bonnie, she's finding herself and trying to stand on her own two feet away from her loving albeit overbearing mentor. After a very unusual interview she becomes part of a team called P.U.P.I 'Private Unaffiliated Paranormal Investigations'.

The general magical community is very much against this new organisation and the fledgling force knows it will struggle to survive.

Each in the team have something to contribute and must get over their ego's to be able to work together.

Small town girl returns to a mystery

The mystery of this story involves an old crime - the murder/suicide of the parents of 3 sisters, Savannah, Samantha, and Sabrina. The girls, who were raised by their grandfather, leave their small Alabama town when they become adults. After their grandfather eventually dies, one sister returns to sell the old family home and discovers letters that raise questions she must pursue.

The romance of this story begins when the sister runs into her first love, a local bad boy, who left for the military and is now the new police chief. There is more to their history together than either of them is aware, which is slowly revealed throughout the book.

Neither the mystery nor the romance thread are particularly unique or interesting, but the two woven together kept me interested. The majority of character development takes place in the first section of the book with a short trip to the sister and her bad boy's past high school lives - it's the best written section. Overall, the author is of average talent and I have certainly listened to worse. The reader did a slightly better than average job - more of a 3 and a half star than a 4 star.

WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE !!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Had two, of course, Zach & Savannah. Mainly because the story was about them and Ms. Grace did a tremendous job of character-building at the beginning of the book.

Have you listened to any of Marguerite Gavins other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. She does a really good job with her voices. I know I can't go wrong when she narrates a book I am looking at purchasing.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Not sure.

This was my first book, but not my last, by this author. Not only did the pairing of narrator and author/story impress me but the "who done it" also did. I usually can figure out, with much dismay, who did the crime, but the way this story was written it led me to many of the characters in book. I love it when nothing is given away until the climax of the story. I love it when a book makes me pay attention and contemplate.
