This book doesn't waste time on the basics of the language. Instead, the author methodically shows you how to write better, and better Python code.

I stumbled across this book when I first bought my Kindle and it has changed my mindset. In this book, Ross Elkins reveals his secrets to success and experiences with failure. He knows what he is talking about he has results to back it up and his style of presenting is actually very refreshing. Some of this book is a developed rehash from his first, but not enough to make me bored. I recommend every entrepreneur, and every person, to read this book. In order to understand the value I gained while reading this book, you have to read it yourself. This book gives not only inspiration the practical steps that you probably have not heard elsewhere. Ross Elkins departs from the standard truisms and adages you hear elsewhere and gives breakthrough ideas to help move you to the next level. I am a Mom to a month old baby and taking care of her is a bit struggle and that is why my husband and I decided that I should quit my job and just focused on taking care of our child. Invaluable startup insights!

The information in Chisholm's book is much more practical and useful for actually starting and growing a company - rather than being mostly about having started a successful company, like Chaos Monkeys, The Hard Thing About Hard Things, or even the Lean Startup. This book provides a more methodical approach to the process, with great easy-to-understand examples and including real world experiences.

I've been a serial entrepreneur. And I see and advise lots of startups, from very young and energetic new grads to very experienced teams. Unleash Your Inner Company provides insights into all levels of new entrepreneurs, but also provides insights to the serial entrepreneur so their next startup can be even more successful. The coming of the great redistribution?

I am left confused on the matter of wealth redistribution. Does the author truly appreciate free market thinking or does he secretly crave it's demise. He indirectly tells the reader that if you want to be wealthy you must desire it above all else and it must consume your thinking if you want to achieve it. Next, he says that if you don't think you can achieve it be happy where you are and accept your given lot in life by accepting paycheck to paycheck existence. Are the barriers to great wealth achievement psychological , or actual class barriers put out bring society? The whole concept of the book leaves me with more questions than insight into answers..

Overall, I'd say this is a must-read for any current or aspiring martial arts instructors. If you're relatively new at instructing, this book is a time-saver because it gives you such a great look into what most instructors have already gained with experience. As someone who had been thinking about getting into teaching for quite some time I found this to be a valuable reference to go to when looking at all aspects of getting a club of my own started. I cannot commend Mr. Allen enough for the valuable insight, knowledge and thought provoking questions he presented in this that helped me question my pre-established ideas and make sure I was ready and had all the basic needs to start covered before I actually got my club up and running. Once again, a definite must read for any instructor.

The author does a great job of outlining the basics of running a martial arts business. I work with new business owners regularly, and Allen covers many of the topics new owners forget to attend to. He also puts the money into perspective - both expenses and income - and outlines a business model (and some variations) that allows a small school to be profitable.

I'd recommend this to anyone starting (or considering opening) a new program/school. It's also worthwhile for established programs, as a refresher and to see where there may be new opportunities.

This book has a huge amount of valuable information. I've been training martial arts for many years. I have always wanted to start teaching to make a little extra money. This book helped me think of all the things to consider, and i am well on my way to starting a great club.
