Publisher's Summary:
Following Artefact and Legion, Origins is the third and final book of the Lazarus War, an action-drenched space adventure series from one of the most exciting new voices in science fiction.
For someone who has died and come back as many times as Conrad Harris, the nickname Lazarus is well deserved. His elite military team are specialists in death - running suicide missions in simulant bodies to combat the alien race known as the Krell. But now the Krell Empire has wreaked such devastation that military command is desperate for a new strategy against the alien foe.
Harris and his team are being sent on a mission that could finally turn the tide of the war. Intelligence has been uncovered that indicates the location of the UAS Endeavour, a ship that went missing years ago deep in Krell territory.
The ship could hold secrets to harnessing an ancient alien technology - possibly the most powerful weapon in the known universe. But if this power falls into the wrong hands, the consequences for humanity are unimaginable....

Overall it was good. I had to get the last book to see how it ended. It's definitely different. Being able to get into an enhanced body and go kill bad guys. And if you get killed, you snap right back into your old body. Sounds easy, but to experience the deaths these guys go through, I don't know if I'd come out of it sane. And your original body will have stigmata injuries. At least that's what they were called in the book. It's also a different take on the "previous civilization" leaving relics around for the kids to find and then coming back. But I like that sort of thing.
Superior writing style to the other two
This was the best book of the series by far. The depth of the characters, good and bad, was far deeper than the other two. I really felt like reading the first two was something to read while I was waiting for the next Sanderson or Weeks. The third though stood up on its own. Maybe not at the level of those other Gods of fiction, but pretty close.
There were minor spelling errors throughout the book, but as this writer is noticed by the more professional publishers I can imagine those will disappear in his future works.
Good read
Very good military Sci Fi. Books one and two do a good job of telling the story and three finishes it up. The end finishes up just a little fast but all lose ends are tied up.
