Itâs summer vacation and Terry Treetop is, where else, up a tree! He sees a beautiful butterfly and follows it, far away from home, and cannot remember how to get home. He meets a rabbit, beaver, fawn and squirrel, who offer him their home and food. Will he ever find his way home? Read the book to find out.

This is a great book about different animalsâ habitats, and types of food they eat. It would also be a great conversation starter about not wandering away from home. It might also be useful, for older readers, to discuss talking to strangers, as not all are as friendly or helpful as those he encounters along his way.

He enjoyed the story about little boy called Terry Treetop

I have read it to my 6 year old son before bed time. He enjoyed the story about little boy called Terry Treetop, who got his nickname because he loved climbing on top of trees. The story is about Terry, who followed a beautiful butterfly while playing outside. He loved animals and always tried to make new friends. This time he followed this beautiful butterfly. He wanted to make friends with it and got so excited chasing it that eventually found himself lost. While trying to find his way home, he made a few animal friends. They were so gracious and offered Terry something to eat because poor boy was lost and hungry. Even though Terry couldn't eat various types of vegetation he was offered, he was very grateful for making new friends. At last, he met a squirrel who lived on a tree. And because Terry Treetop loved climbing on trees, he did just that, following his new friend. Luckily while on top, he saw his own tree-house and rushed home to see his mom, who he missed very much. And guess what, he's met that butterfly again, right there in his front yard....

My boy enjoyed the story and we had a little discussion about how important it is to make new friends , but always be aware of your surroundings and never go too far from your home.

You are definitely going to love each of the 42 pages of ABIGAIL and the North Pole Adventure by Tali Carmi. This is the third book of Tali Carmi that I read. I have already read, enjoyed full throttle and reviewed Terry Treetop Finds New Friends and Terry Treetop Saves The Dolphin. This book is as interesting and fabulously designed as the earlier two. Abigail finds a new friend Siku at the North Pole.

The story is about visiting an exotic location. A location that is far off. It has different cultures and is bound to widen your horizons. The storyâs main character is a young girl named Abigail. She gets a magical bicycle from her grandparents when they come to her for a visit. She finds this new gift as quite wonderful. The new gift that is a magical cycle has the power to take her to any destination.

This bicycle takes her to a new destination that she had never imagined visiting. The wonderful place she is visiting is the North Pole. There are 15 gleaming illustrations that put life into the story of Abigail. ABIGAIL and the North Pole Adventure by Tali Carmi with a fabulous story and lively illustrations make it a completely interesting, must-read for your young children in the age zone of preschool or beginners in reading.

The new adventure brings a lot of new surprises for Abigail during her travel and at the wonderful destination. Finding seals, an igloo (snow house) and on top of it, âa new friend gives her lot of excitement. With her new friend Abigail goes for a rescue operation that makes it more exciting for her.

Super cute story that my two boys (ages 9 and 6) both enjoyed.

I love books that teach my children lessons. This is one of those books! I read Abigail and the North Pole Adventure with my 6-year-old son, my 9-year-old also sat in for the story. The characters are relatable and the storyline was super cute. Both of my kids were engaged and that says a lot because my children often disappear into LaLa land when I am reading with them. Not only do you go on this wonderful journey but you see that working together gets the job done...ironicâ considering our current state of the union. Overall my kids were very happy with the story, as was I. I look forward to reading the other books from Tali Carmi.

Nice and convenient read on your phone.

My daughter loves to read on my phone or her tablet so I was excited to see what she thought of Abigail's adventure. I read this to my 4 year old daughter on my phone before she went to bed. For the most part she was engaged in the story line and the illustrations. It was a refreshing story outside the norm of her princess ones. However, speaking of princesses, my 4 year old didn't like the name Jasmine that was used in the story because it wasn't the same Jasmine from Alladin. She can be such a silly goose :) I thought the story was ok but there were a few errors.

For one, there were at least 2, maybe 3 pages that looked like there was a digital error- displaying the last few lines of the page, on a separate page with no pictures. My daughter gave me a stare as blank as the page. Also, I downloaded to my Kindle app on my iPhone but none of the links worked for me which was unfortunate because my daughter wanted to "read another" when we were done. Even though this book wasn't my favorite and was as described, I am giving it 4 stars mainly for those 2 reasons. As far as enjoyment, it wasn't my personal favorite but I would read it again, especially if we were somewhere where all I had was my phone.

My star rating falls within these guidelines:

5 Stars- I absolutely LOVE this product and would recommend it to others. It comes as or better than described. It is something that I will use and also something I would give to another when appropriate. I would be proud to talk about my ownership of this!

4 Stars- I really like this and I'm going to use it but there are some aspects of it that I don't LOVE whether it be a flaw, quality issue, assembly length/difficulty or just plain personal preference. This rating would indicate that it was adequately described by the seller and I recieved what I expected. It is a solid product and functions well. This is still something I would consider giving others.

3 Stars- This would be a mediocre "I could live with or without this" but I'll give it a try.

2 Stars- eh, maybe I regret this purchase. This would be given to something of poor quality, inaccurate description or something that isn't really useful not just for the purpose intended for whatever reason. I probably won't use this and I also wouldn't "gift" it to someone.

1 Star- I am completely unsatisfied with the purchase. This product is a waste of money, I would never use it and I would never give it to someone as a gift.

As with all ratings, please know that personal preference plays a big role and read each one knowing that. When reviewing I try to be as honest and objective as possible as I rely on consumer reviews when purchasing.

This is a very short book. great for a warmup at bedtime... but not quite long enough to be the bedtime story (at least not for my kids) My 7 year old liked it the first few times and then pulled it from the requests. My 3 and 4 year old both ask for it weeks later. I was provided a review copy of the book by the author or narrator.

Just so so

I wanted to really like this audio book. The author sent it to me free of charge in order to get an honest review. I found the narrative to be to monotone no excitement or childlike qualities to the reading that kept my little ones interested. The story itself sounded like a child wrote it? Nothing stood out about it that would make me say "oh you have to listen to this one" perhaps in this books case the printed copy is better? Sorry I really wanted to find it wonderful.

Overall, quite a lovely book. Something about this story when you close the book, it lingers, giving off a positive vibe. This is not a book you read once. The story is kind, generous, and oozing of wholesomeness. Quite unique, fun and interesting. The author's passion and style are refreshing and engaging for myself and my grandchildren and the illustrations bring it home. Remarkably well done.

Adorable, fun and engaging!!! This series is one to get and share with your child. The stories are so cute and the pictures are animated, colorful and imaginative. This series will leave you and your children truly happy and talking about the places you would explore, your favorite things and so much more. Reading a bedtime story should bring parent and child closer and the Stevie books do that and so much more! My son loves the coloring books that are companions to the stories too! I would love to see this as a series and to go with Stevie on many more adventures!!! I rate the series 4.5 stars!

Even the parrot liked it

Amazing illustrationsâ. Itâs a quite a happy, cheery bright colored bedtime book. My grandchildren loved it. We had a sleep over with more than two at once and it was definitely a hit. The grandchildren stay overnight and love to go pick a book out of my library to read. They were very excited to find the new book in my collection. The bedtime trip was simply Delightful, Charming, entertaining and exciting. The story held their attention and lit up their eyes as I read aloud and showed the pictures.. The grandchildren asked for more of Stevieâs stories sooo later on we will take a trip through the online store and purchase more. This book and the very way it was written and illustrated is very unique. It is also a favorite of my Amazon Parrot. She loves to be read to and even likes to look at the pictures. If she likes a particular book.. she repeats certain parts of it AND she liked this book. We usually have bedtime stories right by her because she loves being read too alsoâ so from the grandkids and Gloria the 31 year old Parrot..

I LOVE all of Beatrix Potter's stories

A true classic! I LOVE all of Beatrix Potter's stories! When I read her tales I'm transported to the world her characters live in and I'm joining in the characters adventures, especially Tom Kitten and his sisters. Who wouldn't love to be with them and the mischief they get into? I read this to my 7 year old niece and 5 year old nephew who absolutely loved the story. Yes, I did have to explain the meaning of some words to them, especially some British English, but they quickly caught on and were absolutely thrilled and delighted with the story and its characters. My only complaint with Beatrix Potter's books is with the small size of the pictures. I would love it if the publishers produced editions with larger pictures so children could better see the tale as it visually unfolds for them. It would also make it easier for us adults to show the pictures as we read the story to the little ones.

Exactly as expected and cute story

It was a small book, in lightly used condition, with the cute story of Tom Kitten. My baby is too young to appreciate it, but I liked it. I enjoy that it is a small book. Easy to read one handed and could fit in a diaper bag easy for travel.

this happened once and now I orchestrate it because it's just so cute:

I am reading to my daughter and I can't QUITE see the words since she's holding the book, but since we read this a lot, I know most of them. This conversation happens:

Me: They stopped and stared up at the kittens. They had very small eyes and looked surprised.

Magnolia: You wanna try again, mommy?

Me: hmm?

Magnolia: stood in a row

Me: (pushing the pages of the book so I can see better) They stopped and stood in a row and stared up at the kittens...

Magnolia: good job, mommy. That's better.

Love These Stories!

Beatrix Potter is a wonderful author! I definitely recommend these books for children. There are plenty to choose from as well! The book is around the size of an adult hand and is a hardback cover.
