Good stories

One thing I have noticed with the Dragnet series is there is an underlying story. If you listen to them out of order (the aired dates) you may be confused at some of the family issues, partner names, and the like. I still like, them out of order or in order, it really doesn't matter. I just laugh when I get one of those ah-hah moments.

A trenchcoat from England starts a conversation. A new chap wants one and then stiffs the guy who orders it. Now, the coat salesman is suspicious of the new guy. 'He doesn't have a job and doesn't know what a callous is'.

Sad but moving

The story starts out as a pick up request from a different police department. The criminal has moved to LA. A long series of queries lead Friday and Smith on a chase that results in real drama. A very good story.
