This is a review of Prayer | The 100 Most Powerful Prayers for Your Inner Child | 2 Amazing Bonus Books to Pray for Massive Success & Optimal Health: Dream Big, Have Fun and Play All Out..., kindle book.
I love high-end products and do not mind paying for them. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I downloaded this Kindle book because, I have recently returned to attending church and want to improve my perspective on life.
Finally, the book itself, while I am not completely done with the book I have read through a few chapters and man does this book promote happiness, fun, and dreams all centered around God. I am building a relationship with God currently that I have never had and knowing how to pray for certain things is a major help.
I would recommend of Prayer | The 100 Most Powerful Prayers for Your Inner Child | 2 Amazing Bonus Books to Pray for Massive Success & Optimal Health: Dream Big, Have Fun and Play All Out..., kindle book for anyone who is wanting to improve their life and get closer to god. Furthermore, I have noticed that the book is written so that even the average reader (which I am) does not get tired of reading this book by the end of the first chapter.
The product arrived via kindle book store and was downloaded on my android phone in less than a minute.
I received my product for a discount for an unbiased and honest review. I only purchase products I need and will use.
    Good Book
I really enjoyed this book. It was very peaceful and inspiring to read. It is a great book to come back to. There was plenty of prayers and all of them are one liners. So I would of liked a bit more depth and substance in the words but the one liners are inspiring and quick to read.
Overall the book to me was a 3 or 4 stars. I really like the one sentence prayers for something quick and sweet.

The truth of what it means to trust Jesus has been working its way into my heart by the grace of the Holy Spirit. I'm still a work in progress. Trusting in Jesus is something I want to do more of and understand more fully - so I wrote a book about it. This book is for people like me, who want the idea of trusting God to go deeper than head knowledge, people who want to trust Jesus with all of their heart and aren't always sure how to do that. It's for people who know that trust is not something they can just conjure up on their own. It's about asking the Holy Spirit to come in and change our hearts.

    Publisher: grady bryant

    Publisher's Summary:
Visions of Hell is a must listen for all Christians and nonbelievers. Many of us have glowing expectations of going to heaven when we pass on. Is it true? Are we worthy of heaven? Each person must define their own relationship with God to determine what's to come at the end of this life. If you're not a believer in God, Visions of Hell is an eye opener of what is in store for you and why it's time to start thinking about the world that awaits.
Writings in the Bible clearly define the relationship Jesus wants us to follow if we seek the pleasures of heaven. We have all speculated about the hereafter, whether we believe in heaven or hell. Hear the accounts of people who teetered between the life as we know and the process of hell. A few have ventured into the heavenly light of eternity and returned, but very few have glimpsed into the torrid pits of hell and returned to talk about it. Hear mystifying stories of people who have died and were brought back to life after visiting the house of the devil. Their vision of the devil's home will leave you speechless.

    Publisher's Summary:
Near death experience is a recognized universal phenomenon. Is it bringing us closer to the meaning of life itself?
The phrase "near death experience" can be incredibly evocative. While for some it might simply suggest the proximity to an accident or a personal tragedy, the meaning behind a near death experience is often a great deal more spiritual.
For those who have been involved in a near death experience (or NDE), the event is not just a health or mortal concern. Instead, the process of moving close to the end of life and coming back again is enough to encourage questions of what lies beyond this plane of existence, and what their death means to a wider world. For those who have been unfortunate enough to have an NDE, the process can be traumatic, life-affirming, terrifying, and a life-defining moment.
    Inside, you will find:
After listening to this audiobook, you will be knowledgeable about near death experiences and will know the truth behind NDEs.

    Interesting Stories
Interesting and found it to be as honestly written as others and the stories to be similar to others. I am a believer of OBE as I have experienced it in my own life, which is what spurred me to read this book. I had a very similar experience years ago of floating to the ceiling and feeling my spirit leave my body as I watched the doctors and nurses work on me below. I hovered and watched until my daughter entered the room to visit me. When she entered, I felt myself return to my body after praying. It really happened to me. I don't know if it was the medication or the trauma, but it happened.
    Stories of Near-Death Experiences
If you have read all the main books on near-death experiences as I have over the past few years this book may have a few familiar stories in it. It first defines what the experience is and then gives information on celebrities who have had near-death experiences. What was intriguing however was the summaries of the experiences of ordinary people, some who are now a bit famous for their stories. So this book would be perfect to anyone new to the topic or to people who just love a good story. I enjoyed reading this and learned a few new things I didn't know before.
    ~The Rebecca Review
    Really interesting book!
This book takes you on an interesting journey through many different religions and their beliefs. The author explains the difference in the near death experience in many different cultures. I found her chapter on the Role of Angels most enlightening. This is a very intriguing subject, and she did a great job explaining all the different types of the Near Death Experiences.
Good, when it finally got to actual cases + bonus Mothman story
A little too much on the history, IMHO. Once the actual stories started, really good. The Mothman was good also, saw the movie about it.
I love this topic and I loved this book
I love this topic and I loved this book! My husband and I both have a fascination with these stories. This book is filled with lots of informative information I had no idea about before. The celebrity stories are also fun to read about. Highly recommended!

Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Religious Thought
    Publisher's Summary:
Social anthropologist Edward Evans-Pritchard wrote Witchcraft, Oracles, and Magic Among the Azande after 20 months' fieldwork with the Azande people of the South Sudan. It became the founding text in the anthropology of witchcraft, and has been hailed as a classic.
Although Witchcraft had little impact when it first appeared in 1937, its popularity grew after World War II. Alongside his subsequent work on the Nuer people, Witchcraft established Evans-Pritchard's reputation as one of the most important British anthropologists of the 20th century. His appointment as professor at the University of Oxford was vital to the rise of its prestigious anthropology department.
Witchcraft's influence on anthropology is still strong nearly 80 years later. It wholeheartedly supported an emerging belief in the importance of first-person fieldwork, permanently ending the library-bound anthropology favored by previous generations. Most importantly, Witchcraft transformed the anthropology of knowledge by insisting that the supernatural beliefs of "primitive" societies fulfilled both a social and a moral function.

Is this new take on the traditional Christian outlook just a harmless "modernized" or stylized version of what many of us were raised to believe, or is it something more?
Author Ardel DeBurg takes a deep and often times unflinching look at the occult, atheism, and the rise of the New Age movement and its insidious attempt to blend with traditional Christian values to blur the lines between truth and fiction.

  • It's Dangerous to Believe Audiobook by Mary Eberstadt

    Title: It's Dangerous to Believe
Subtitle: Religious Freedom and Its Enemies
    Author: Mary Eberstadt
    Narrator: Margaret Winston
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 5 hrs and 20 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 06-21-16
    Publisher: HarperAudio
Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 42 votes
Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Religious Thought
    Publisher's Summary:
Mary Eberstadt, "one of the most acute and creative social observers of our time" (Francis Fukuyama), shines a much-needed spotlight on a disturbing trend in American society: discrimination against traditional religious belief and believers, who are being aggressively pushed out of public life by the concerted efforts of militant secularists.
In It's Dangerous to Believe, Mary Eberstadt documents how people of faith - especially Christians who adhere to traditional religious beliefs - face widespread discrimination in today's increasingly secular society. Eberstadt details how recent laws, court decisions, and intimidation on campuses and elsewhere threaten believers who fear losing their jobs, their communities, and their basic freedoms solely because of their convictions. They fear that their religious universities and colleges will capitulate to aggressive secularist demands. They fear that they and their families will be ostracized or will have to lose their religion because of mounting social and financial penalties for believing. They fear they won't be able to maintain charitable operations that help the sick and feed the hungry.
Is this what we want for our country?
Religious freedom is a fundamental right, enshrined in the First Amendment. With It's Dangerous to Believe, Eberstadt calls attention to this growing bigotry and seeks to open the minds of secular liberals whose otherwise good intentions are transforming them into modern inquisitors. Not until these Progressives live up to their own standards of tolerance and diversity, she reminds us, can we build the inclusive society America was meant to be.
    Members Reviews:
    Very Important Book
Eberstadt brings a crucial lens to the modern struggles of religious freedom, comparing today's anti-Christian attacks on homeschooling, churches, and Christian nonprofits and universities to the Salem Witch Trials; the Red Scare, and the 1990s daycare scare.
Her call for non-Christians to understand these problems and offer civility is key, as is her praise of Mr. Obergefell (from the gay marriage case) for his rare tweet honoring Scalia during an online hate fest. Such civility is sorely needed now, and this excellent book explains why.
    Truth reigns
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes because it is a clear and concise account of the dangers that are looming around the corner for every American.
What did you like best about this story?
I like the fact that it is well written and well documented, and it is about time a voice is heard saying that it is okay to love God, family and country -- in the public square, no less.
Whats the most interesting tidbit youve picked up from this book?
Americans need to wake up to the fact that their lives and their liberty have been stealthily hijacked by very powerful, well-funded, and militant groups, and time is of the essence if we want to protect and defend our inalienable and self-evident human rights.
    Any additional comments?
Thought provoking and fascinating book on our current and disturbing state of affairs.
    Highly recommended
Atheists, agnostics and believers alike will gain much from this book. Surely any decent person will be alarmed with current state

    Publisher's Summary:
Did you know that it is possible to visit heaven and see who is living up there? Do you know that if you have a great relationship with Jesus, and if God has a purpose for it, that people who are living in heaven can come down to earth and visit you and spend time with you? One day, while Matthew watched a documentary called This Is It by Michael Jackson, Michael appeared to him. He proceeded to sing the songs on the film and dance in the room with Matthew. Soon, through multiple visits, Matthew grew to know Michael fairly well.
In April 2016, Michael got Matthew out of bed and with the help of God's spirit, did a three-hour interview with Matthew. It was a divine revelation of heaven and more. Why don't you listen to this message and spend some time to see what Michael has to say about:

Perhaps a Better Read Than Listen
I'm not sure what I even listened to. What the blurb says is that the author, while watching THIS IS IT starring Michael Jackson, MJ appeared to him and he began channeling him. While I wasn't there and don't personally know the author, what I do know is that while pointing out Bible passages, most Christians don't follow mediums or mysticism. Idolatry?
Listening to this book could be confusing for some and for me it felt as if I were wearing my shoes on the wrong feet. Awkward. The message was okay but the way in which it was delivered; not so much.
The narrator attempting to emulate MJ's voice was just wrong. It would've been better to stick with his own voice.

Michael Spoke Volumes In this Book
What made the experience of listening to Michael Jackson Speaks from Heaven the most enjoyable?
The narration made me want to believe and let my faith guide me into heaven.
What other book might you compare Michael Jackson Speaks from Heaven to and why?
It's unique and includes the king of pop, so no comparison.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Title: Atheism Explained
    Subtitle: From Folly to Philosophy
    Author: David Ramsay Steele
    Narrator: Keith Sellon-Wright
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 11 hrs and 47 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 06-20-16
    Publisher: University Press Audiobooks
Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 14 votes
Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Religious Thought
    Publisher's Summary:
Atheism Explained explores the claims made both for and against the existence of God. On the pro side: that the wonders of the world can only be explained by an intelligent creator; that the universe had to start somewhere; telepathy, out-of-body experiences, and other paranormal phenomena demonstrate the existence of a spirit world; and that those who experience God directly provide evidence as real as any physical finding. After disputing these arguments through calm, careful criticism, author David Ramsay Steele presents the reasons why God cannot exist: monstrous, appalling evils; the impossibility of omniscience; and the senseless concept that God is a thinking mind without a brain. He also explores controversial topics such as intelligent design, the power of prayer, religion without God, and whether a belief in God makes people happier and healthier. Steele's rational, easy to understand prose helps listeners form their own conclusions about this eternally thorny topic.
    Critic Reviews:
"A clear, concise, complete, and convincing presentation of the case for atheism." (Victor J. Stenger, author of
    God: The Failed Hypothesis)
"Atheism Explained is a gem. It is clear, informative, well-argued, provocative, often witty, and unfailingly interesting." (Jeremy Shearmur, author of
The Political Thought of Karl Popper)
"Atheism Explained is a much better defense of atheism than the recent works by Dawkins and Hitchens." (James Sadowsky, S.J., Professor of Philosophy, Fordham University)
    Members Reviews:
If you're an atheist or question your faith.. ...
If you're an atheist or question your faith.. This is a MUST read. And I read a LOT. It is the most objective, analytic philosopher's look at exactly what the title would imply.
    Preaching to the Choir
I enjoyed much of this book but it does get tedious. Many of these treatise for atheism go over the same points ad infinitum. They also introduce terms that are probably common knowledge to professional philosophers but require the average reader to keep a dictionary at hand in order to make sense of the text. Without a fairly thorough, college level knowledge of philosphy, decoding the arguments takes away from the flow and enjoyment of the reading.
    Wonderfully informative and non-confrontational
One of the greatest disservices that "New Atheists" like Christopher Hitchens, Richard Dawkins, and Sam Harris have done to atheism (as it is perceived by popular media/culture) is infuse their heated political views with their philosophical case against religion. Instead of engaging in a calm debate over the purely philosophical merits of theism and atheism, the "New Atheists" have opted to crusade against religion in its entirety, condemning its role and very presence in modern education, politics, government, and ethics.
