About That Kiss...2 pieces of a puzzle coming together!

Wow! Jill Shalvis really did an amazing job writing About That Kiss. Jill Shalvis really has a unique writing style that is amazing. She always has you hooked from the first page. Her books really are amazing books. In every book the way she writes her characters are very realistic with very realistic problems and lives. Her writing makes you feel as if you are actually there a part of the story. I having been waiting for Joe's story since Sweet Little Lies which was Finn and Pru's story. I really enjoyed watching Joe and Kylie come together in this story.

Kylie has been through a lot in her life and she definitely is a survivor. She's a woodworker and often has dust all over her and her work outfit is often not what you would call Sexy. However to Joe her outfit and all the dust and grime does not hinder his attraction to her.

Joe is definitely a very sexy alpha male. Joe has had a hard life also. Joe's hard life makes him the man he is now. Joe works for Archer's security team.

I love the chemistry between Joe and Kylie. I loved watching the dynamics of their relationship grow and change. I really enjoyed their stakeouts and Kylie's crazy wigs. I really enjoyed the fact that they just couldn't keep their hands off each other. I really enjoyed the part when Joe refers to the man's "guidebook" on women. I just busted out laughing.

About That Kiss made me laugh and had a lot of heart swooning moments. About That Kiss was a great contemporary romance but also had a splash of mystery. This book was well worth the wait. I loved Joe and Kylie's story. Joe and Kylie are like two pieces of a puzzle that finally come together and fit perfectly. I enjoyed the friendship of the community and the feel that they were more family than friends. I loved how in moments of pure need the would all rally together to support each other. That is what family is all about. I felt as if I were there watching everything unfold. About That Kiss is a very sweet, at times humorous and sexy book. Jill Shalvis really knows how to draw her readers in. She always leaves you wanting more and feeling as you are a part of that world. She really has a gift with words and that makes her a very amazing author and her books great reads. I definitely suggest you grab a copy and read it.

WOW!!! What an exciting story

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. Oh my, what a great story. Evan knows how to grab the reader/listener and take them on a rollercoaster ride. I had to listen to the end twice to grasp the conclusion of the story. I won't give it away, but just say, it was unbelievable. I haven't listened or read a story like this in a very long time. You are missing something if you don't get this book. The narrator was awesome as well. She told the story so well, I knew each of the characters. I felt what they felt. She is amazing. Did I say I really, really enjoyed this story. I just finished it and my heart is still racing. Thanks so much for sharing this amazing story with the world.

Wow!

Wow! Well, I certainly did not see that coming! Although I might have preferred the ending I was expecting, this ending blew me away causing this book to be one that I won't soon forget (and will probably listen to many more times). It was very well written, and the narrator did a great job bringing it to life with all the different characters and voices. I can't wait to listen to other books that have been written by Evan Grace. This is definitely worth a listen and a credit! This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Hilarious!

Sexy hockey players? Awkward law students? Hilarious synchronised swimming grannies? Yup, it's all here. I loved this so much!

Annie reluctantly takes swimming lessons taught by the gorgeous Cohen. He is attracted to her immediately but she makes him work for that first date. Everything after that was perfection! A wonderful love story! I can't wait to read more of this series!

Sweet Romance Reading

This was a fabulous story with excellent writing and wonderful characters. I enjoyed how the author developed the storyline and the romance between the two characters. It was written with humor and a lot of love.

Enjoyable listen

I have listened to most of the books in this series and find them enjoyable when I need a mindless listen. These stories are easy going love stories that don't wear your brain out, but help you relax and listen. Despite this being the 10th book in the series, Also always manages to put some kind of new spin on her stories. I knocked the story down a star just because of the length of the book. I don't think it needed to be so long to get the story told. Overall I recommend listening if you want a fun, mindless listen.

Opposites attract!

The stories from the Nashville Assassins hockey team have always been some of my favorites, and this audiobook was great listening. The hero is Vaughn, one of the rough defensemen, a ladys man with a fear of commitment. The heroine is a spunky woman who is the teams newswoman on-air, interviewing team members after the games. She has a grown brother with Downs Syndrome and the author handled the whole disability issue with great grace and understanding. Usually, Vaughn and she bump heads and insult each other, but as we later see, it was just a mask for mutual attraction. When Vaughn has a secret come out because of her brother things start to change for the two for the better. Can Vaughn get over his issues with commitment? Narration was excellent.

Oh my...I cried!

I have been listening to each book in this series as soon as its released and have just loved them all, but this has to be my absolute favorite. There were seven Callahan sons born to Jack and Kathleen and weve seen each of them find their soulmate in the previous stories. In this story, we focus on Jack, their father who has been alone since he lost Kathleen decades earlier when the oldest boy was only 16. Hes missed her every day since, because she was his soulmate. The thing is, Jack hasnt been feeling too well, but has not told anyone or seen a doctor. While visiting at the farm with his family he is feeling awful but walks his oldest little granddaughter over the hill to the pumpkin patch to get herself one before the public comes and picks them over. When he collapses there she runs to get her daddy and the Callahan boys are faced with possibly losing their father, a man they always saw as indestructible. Jack, on the other hand, is seeing and hearing Kathleen and having conversations and dreams about their life together, sort of reliving everything. The question is this- is Jack getting ready to go to be with Kathleen, or is there still a purpose God left him alive. This was such an emotional book that I felt myself tearing up many times. Narration was just excellent. I highly recommend this audiobook- you wont be disappointed!

Awesome

Honestly, I put of listening to this book because I didnt think it would be as good as the others. I was so wrong! It had me crying and laughing. It was so great to get a back story too. I think this one was my favorite. The narrator was great as usual.

My favorite!

As the saying goes, they saved the best for last. It was fun to hear the history of the Callaghan clan.

It invoked every emotion, I absolutely loved it.

The story of Jack and his wife was beautiful, an insight into what made Jack the man he was. I already love the series; but I fell in love with him and his boys all over again. Great story

Love jack

The love and strength they had was to good to be true ... his family his Katharine meant so much to him ..her dying was hard for them all but especially jack .. some how he gets them through .. now with everything that has happen he see things differently.. the love of his boys and there families in more than enough..till he see his Katherine again .. so beautiful ...

Members Reviews:

good read.....mmm

Great when people fall in love. But oh the drama. could do without some in these books.

Liked it

Enjoyed story looking to read next installment. Don't have anything else to say days i need four more words to get out

I was only about 1/3 of the way through it-- and I knew I had a winner.

There is nothing I love better in a romance book, than that moment when I laugh out loud, or get a lump in my throat and maybe, shed a tear. Sometimes when I realize that my heart is fully engaged, I pause long enough to say, âOh! I love this story!â

The first time that happened while I was reading this book, I was only about 1/3 of the way through it-- and I knew I had a winner.

The characters are wonderfully flawed, fully dimensional and lovable.

Jonathan and Kaley-- wow! They talk about making babies before they really know each otherâ But then, maybe they donât really know each otherâ.

And, oh, I am so frustrated with both of them! I want to yell, âGet a grip!!â

Any couple that generates that much hotness and obvious tenderness should be able to figure it out.

The writing just flows, pulling you along for the ride. And itâs quite a ride. 5 stars.

Kaley is sweet and wants nothing more than to be a mother

***I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.*** Kaley and Jonathan. Wow, just wow! Kaley works at a toy company, the same on that Jonathan is the CEO of. Kaley is sweet and wants nothing more than to be a mother. Unfortunately for her, she doesn't have any real prospects in the Baby Daddy department and can't afford to become a mother on her own. Jonathan has a reputation as being cold and ruthless - not exactly a great image for the CEO of a TOY company. It is suggested to him, that his image is hurting the company and if he can't turn it around he could be removed as the head of his late father's company. After an accidental meeting, a plan is formulated and Jonathan offers Kaley exactly what she wanted while (hopefully) turning around his image as well.

Lovely people with a sprinkling of intrigue

Lovely Christmas.....

Pure pleasure and fun mixed with thoughtful excitement and interesting chartachers. I would highly recommend and love the way Judith weaves the story together with interesting and not so nice people...great ending with honest and good feeling!!! Looking forward to her next book!! Thank you Happy New Year 2018. Lynne

NOT really a Christmas story.....

This was a disappointment. I expected a full-on Christmas novel...and the reference was just at the end. If the author does not choose to write about it with the season as central to the plot, then please do not deceive buyers who want a Christmas themed novel and get something else. Kind of a rip off. The story itself was ok.

Not one of Klein's best.

To wordy. That is a terrible thing to say about a novel but it was to much description all the way through. Good story line. I did keep reading all the way through so it was not terrible but not as good as other books by this author. If I had started with this book I might not have read others.

This book seemed to be about nothing. All they ...

This book seemed to be about nothing. All they did was try to get the beach house back. There wasn't any conflict. I kept waiting for something to happen with Vaughn and his co-star or that Bree would set something else on fire. It was just the same old thing.

You can read this book by itself but i recommend reading the full series. You will quickly grow attached to these characters.

I love the Beach House series. It's like the characters are people you know and you can't help but get engrossed in the happenings of their lives Rhonda and Ann are perfect examples of strong self sufficient women and what they can accomplish but also have love and family in their lives. I hope there are more books to come!

Boring! Narration was awful.

I tried really hard to listen to this story. Couldn't get past the narration.

I found I was easily distracted by other things.

I wouldn't recommend this story to anyone but maybe the author to redo the story a bit and definitely select a different narrator.

Amazing

Yet another winner in my book. I love the stories J Kenner tells through her books!
