5 Missing from Me Stars

First let me start off by saying how much I loved the narration to this audiobook. I am a huge fan of both these narrators they brought these characters to life in my ears!

And lets be honest, Jacob Morgan voice is LUSH!

On to the author this was actually a first for me by this author and I really dont think it will be the last. She has a way of keeping you engaged even when for me the drama was too much.

I am not a fan of no communication and I hate when characters dont communicate! But thats just me. And that is the only part of this book I didnt really like. I lovvvvvvvved the connection all the characters had. Logan is a character I would like to see more of.

I really fell in love with Willow she is the sweetest! I connected most with Anna, having a child who has asthma is the most scariest thing ever. Especially when they are young and dont know to use the inhalers themselves when their breathing heavy or hard. Those feeling of having to be strong in the face of your child because you dont want them to panic, yeah that is H E L - L

So I very much identified with Anna on that front. And there were times I didnt really like her and thats ok that to me is what makes second chance romances so good. You dont have to like all the characters all the time.

I didnt much like Sean throughout the whole story but he grew on me and by the end I wanted to have all his babies!

So if you are in the mood for a hunky rock star second chance romance this is the book for you!

Outstanding Contemporary Romance!

I was not familiar with this author but Im so glad I took a chance! The story is well written and the characters well developed. The story sucked me in and kept me hooked all the way to the conclusion.

Narration was outstanding! One of the best I have heard in awhile. You could feel the emotion coming from the characters.

This is a story about second chances. Sean is a drummer in a band and Anna wants to go to law school. This book is a standalone. The story takes place in Texas. Outstanding book all the way around! Im looking forward to listening to more books by this talented author & narrators!

Awesome!!!

I was blown away by the performance of the narrators in this book. They added so many emotions one could hear in this book. I loved both of their distinguished characters voices, especially Willow.

This book was so well written and performed. I havent read many books by Jayne Frost before, but I am definitely adding her to my one-click purchase list. I loved how she tied in the title of the book into one of the heartfelt conversations between the main characters. This book is original and a standalone listen.

Love the Bennetts!

Bennetts...Bennetts... and more Bennetts! Words cannot describe how much I love the Bennetts! Love Layla Hagen! Love the story of Blake and Clara! So happy that they ended up together & Clara got more family! Narrators did a great job as well!

So in love with this series...

I have never anticipated a side characters story to be told more than Blake Bennetts, and Layla did not disappoint. Blake and Clara are just perfect for each other and there was no doubt in my mind that Blakes fierce and passionate love for his family would spill over into a woman who deserves and needs to be loved deeply.

The narrators are wonderful and the book is filled with emotion and humorous banter (plus a fabulous cliffhanger for the next Bennett brothers romance).

Missing something

This book is shallow with absolutely no character development. It could have been such a cute book with tales of a new father dealing with a newborn. But the baby was never the focus. In fact, not sure what the focus was. Dont waste your time

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it has gone to one of my real favourites.

Short and Sweet

Another sweet story from Susan Mallory. When youve read many of her books, you know she does not disappoint. This one was a quick read about a single father. Not a ton of detail but enough to enjoy the story as it unfolded.

Please write a longer novel telling more about Latch and Saber's story with Annie. I've read all your books and I've loved them all and I wait with baited breath for each new novel. I know through the other novels that they remain a couple but this novella feels like you've short changed this love story, especially as it relates to Latch. Please consider writing a full length novel developing these three more!!!!!

Rescue Me

I LOVE this book. Seriously though the first time I Read this the very first part of the book made me cry. It still gets me no matter how many times I have read and now listened to this book. Thane is so Dreamy, Ex-Marine, Firefighter. Yumm.. And Madden is a Tattoo Artist. Double Yumm. They make the best couple match ever. LOL. Cooper North did a Really Good job with the narration as well. I think the Author did a great job with picking him for this series!

I understand the idea of the plot and the ideas spoken but it still felt rushed.

Was rather difficult to root for the couple. It really felt cliche. My eyes rolled through most of it.

4 The Clover Chapel Stars

I freaking enjoyed this book, Emmy and Nick are a match made for each other. I love that Emmy is snarky and yet she totally cant stay away from Nick not matter what.

I really found Logan to be a stand-up guy he, he didnt have to be so nice. I am glad that part of the story turned out the way it did.

Ahhh but the story totally gets twisty and I love that! Just when you think it is going to go one way it goes another.. Perfect! Loved it.

I did wish we had gotten a little more update on Mason. We did but we didnt he was a pretty big part of the story and then he wasnt and I get it but I wanted a follow up or something.

Very much loved Gigi and Mazy making an appearance.

If you love small towns as much as I do then you need to pick up this book. Beaus it has it all the sweet and the sexy.

Also the narrators are freaking perfect, they bring these characters to life with emotion and tone and you cant ask for more than that.

A story that engrosses and entertains!

After reading The Coppersmith Farmhouse I was excited to go back to Jamison Valley for another story but I waited for the audiobook release and didnt regret that decision. The Clover Chapel is an awesome audiobook with great narration by Ava Erickson and Joe Arden.

Lets get married, Nick whispered into my ear.

What? I gasped, turning to look up at him with wide eyes. Where had that come from?

Lets get married. You said you wanted crazy. Nothing is crazier than two people who just met getting hitched in Las Vegas.

What a great blend of insta-love, Vegas wedding, second-chance, with some mystery and danger thrown in for a story that engrossed and entertains!!

Ruse led to love

Leslie North has been a favorite author of mine for several years. Roberto Scarlato is a top narrator who can perform so many accents. I loved his portrayal of Asim in this book. He has his accents down to perfection. He is able to perform so many characters with distinguishable voices. This particular book hooked me from the very beginning. Instant attraction is a great way to sum up the initial meeting of Asim and Elena. The story is well written and has a happy ending. I did not think this book had any real unexpected twists, but the journey was so enjoyable. The author does so well with her imagery in her stories. I received this book as a gift and have voluntarily written my review. I look forward to the next book in this series. I am curious which brother it will be highlighted (I'm hoping its Aubry and Nassir). I will definitely be listening to more books by this author and narrator.

Sweet story!

This was a sweet short love story with a HEA. I liked the main characters Asim and Elena. The story was predictable, but well written. I hope we'll learn more about the other characters in this Series. This was my first Leslie North's book and my first listen to Roberto Scarlato. He has a great voice and I like his voice when he is acting Asim.

A sweet surprise.

With Asim and Elena, Ms. North veered off course. Normally she sets out to seduce her readers with the alpha hero and his tempting ways. This time, she laid the groundwork for romance before any enticing was done. It took a bit longer for the spark to ignite, but the end result was an amazing love story.

This had potential but,...

This story had a lot of potential to be really good. However, it took to long to get into the meat of the story, and then felt rushed at the end to pull everything together. The male narrator, Rudy, dragged out the "f" word too much! To the point of distraction (and sometimes irritation). His laugh at times was almost cartoon like. When he spoke naturally he was pretty good, but the back and forth was a distraction to the mood of the book. I didn't hate the book, but would have like to get it on sale!

Hate the male narrator

I honestly tried but I could not get use to the male narrator, his laugh and the secondary male voices he did. He made the supporting males sound like the witch from the Wizard of Oz. I only got to chapter 9 of 27 before I threw the towel in so I cannot tell you much more than the summary did. If you base your purchases on the narration then you might want to skip this one, but if you can block out the annoying voices of the narrator and focus on the story then this might work for you. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me, returning this book ASAP.

I haven't found a Megan Quinn Audiobook that I haven't liked. Laugh out loud funny.... and always with great characters....

Tucker & Emma

Having read so many books the plot is usually the same - boy meets girl; become a couple; get torn apart & find their way back together. The difference with this book is the wit the author portrays. The characters seem like real people with real names!

The second thing that I loved about this book was the narrator(s). Their voice inflections & tones & changing to sound like a different person was the best narration Ive ever heard!

Pick this book up and get lost in the world if Emma & Tucker for a weekend. Pour that glass of wine, settle down in the bubble bath - or rock on the porch enjoying the weather- and listen to this one. You will have an enjoyable time!!

It's okay

The male narrator was horrible with his character voices... the nasal way he did every character but the main male character was irritating. The story was also a bit slow and lacked a lot of sexy time.

Unicorn Boyfriend

I have really enjoyed Sara Ney's Douchebag series, but none as much as The Learning Hours. I absolutely fell in love with Rhett and couldn't get enough of this adorably awkward sweetheart! This is book 3 in the interconnected series, but can be read/listened to as a standalone.

I loved how the tables were turned this time around, pairing an inexperienced hero with a more seasoned heroine. Rhett was the perfect southern gentleman, but struggled with his confidence in social situations. My heart hurt for him as he tried to figure out the right thing to say and do, without looking like a complete idiot. There were plenty of funny times as Rhett began to explore this other side of college/life thanks to his douchebag roommates and wrestling teammates. I loved getting a cameo here and there of our heroes from books 1 and 2, Oz and Zeke, as well.

Laurel started out as the typical mean girl, but quickly learned and showed that appearances can be deceiving. Yes, things started out under unconventional circumstances, but I loved watching the slow burn chemistry between these two. Rhett's reluctance to speak freely about what he wanted, only made his attempts in French all the more swoony and sexy. It was so very refreshing and wonderful to see the good guy remain true to himself and prevail.

Thanks to the beauty of whispersync, I was able to switch easily between the audiobook and ebook and it really enriched the experience. Josh Goodman really shined as the lovable Rhett and Muffy Newton was the perfect sassy Laurel. Being able to hear all of the confusion, excitement, wonder, and love made me fall even harder for these two. Although my heart is happy and I have a goofy grin on my face thanks to the epilogue, I would love a novella or look into the future for all the couples we've met in this series. This was definitely my favorite of the 3 books though and Rhett truly lived up to his Unicorn Boyfriend status.

Such A Sweet Story

Found Carolyn Brown by accident and decided to give it a listen. I fell in love with the characters. I love that family is very important in the story and helping someone get through a tough time. Love small town living.

This was great. I liked the touch of humor. I needed another feel food book this season.

Not your typical storyline

Because the story was different it was a pleasure to listen to. As a captain and an X army nurse I like happy endings especially for those who gave so much for all of us.
