Waiting on the Sequel!

My husband and I both read this book. It's the type of book that my husband enjoys and he really enjoyed this one. We both liked the humor and the characters, hoping for a sequel to see how the three partners handle their new responsibilities as owners.

Good, quick read western

Very enjoyable, quick read with uncomplicated writing style that fits the tone of the story. Well written and edited. Keeps the reader feeling 'out west' in the story. The characters were well developed so the reader connects with them. I wasn't 'involved' enough to be overwhelmed, but did like the story and I do recommend reading it if you like westerns.

Rowdy ROCKS!!

LOVE Rowdy and I wouldn't mind reading more about his adventures! The action and humor in this one kept me hooked from the very beginning of the story. Rowdy's larger-than-life personality makes this book a winner!

Nothing exceptional

I was excited to find another western writer but was a bit skeptical that it had nothing but rave reviews. Then I started reading the reviews and red flags were flying. Read a few and you'll probably figure it out. I decided to give the story a try anyway. I'm kind of sorry I did because I can't get that time back. The story is about Rowdy Remington, a down on his luck kid who becomes an expert gun handler by the time he's like 12 years old. There are huge gaps in the storytelling, jumping from when he was a kid to when he was middle age. I realize this is fiction and sometimes the reader has to suspend reality to read it, but some of the scenarios are just too ridiculous for words.The characters were one dimensional and there was an extraordinary amount of gory violence. I just wasn't impressed. This was not by any of my definitions a five star story.

When will 6 stars be offered???

I loved the latest book by William Joiner! Here is master story-telling at it's best. Mr. Joiner had better not wait too long before his next contribution. I could foresee unhappy readers in his future! âïSeriously, I sincerely hope the next chapter of Rowdy and his compadres, to have begun. I am waiting with bated breath!!!- His biggest fan!!

The heartfelt story of these sisters' lives is told so elegantly with Clark's voice. Although the love story may not be the conventional fairy tale, listeners are certainly in for a treat with the plot twist of the century!
