Have Some Healthy Meals!

This book has become a great guide for me and my family in preparing healthy foods with less cholesterol. The recipes included herein are very easy to follow, and most of them are not time consuming. One thing that's great about this book is that, the author included some information about nutrients that one should have including the foods that one should avoid. A great reference for those who wants to lose some weight and for those who are doing a low-cholesterol diet.

Meal preparing is a new concept for busy cooks to help them plan the week with pre-planned meals and quick access to the ingredients. All recipes in this book are saved with simpler ingredients with easy cooking directions. This book also showed me the equipment i would be needing for meal prep and basic rule that i should follow and how to get started with. I read through the list of alkaline foods and then every recipe was in acidic foods...this is no way to start out to begin to get healthy for beginners...

Difficult diet...

So basically this is the Daniel diet, Daniel in the Old Testament. The amount of foods to avoid is staggering. I will be looking at other books in this area because this is a near impossible diet to follow.

I consider this book to be an absolute must-listen not only for listeners out there who have diabetes, but really anyone in general who is simply looking for a book full of great recipes that also have very easy-to-understand instructions accompanying them. Ive tried about half a dozen or so recipes so far and each has turned out to be just as good as the last. I am also currently transitioning over to a more plant-based, vegetarian diet so Im very happy that the author made sure to include many vegetarian friendly recipes. Highly recommended

Horrible

This is most likely one of the worst books I have ever read in regards to fasting. The verbiage is wishy-washy with no direct guidance, and no specific input rather than just an overview of the different types of ways to fast. Even in the arms of her views, it doesn't really give you any second game, and almost all it's not all of the information provided is just regurgitated information from other authors and leaders within the field. Other books that I have read also offer TONS of data to support the findings, giving credibility and specific examples of the results and how it worked. I'd try Dr. Jason Fung's "The Obesity Code". TONS I have information on what exactly to expect, how to do it, and why things work the way they do. Another good one if you want more information on fasting rather than on facts on why dieting in general does not work, try "The Complete Giude to Fasting" this book is to the point, easily understood, and filled with a ton of good information.

I am looking for a book that would help me emit my excessive fats from 2016 and this book is so amazing, it has restrictions on when will be the best time to intake foods. It has schedules for fasting, I like the 6th Chapter that talks about meal plans. Great Buy!

This book has a lot of good info.!!!

I didn't realize fasting/ intermittent fasting was such a trend. After listening this book I learned quite a bit. It was a quick listen but had a lot of information. Such as why one would intermittently fast. I really appreciate this book specifies who should, and shouldn't participate in this diet, because as you can imagine it's not safe for everyone.

The book breaks down how to schedule your fasting, and even suggest meals for your eating days. Very interesting.

Gluten free recipes helped with my condition

I purchased this recipe book because I am suffering from lyme's disease. My condition was affecting me enough to want to try working on a new diet to alleviate some symptoms. This book has many great recipes and a variety of approaches (gluten-free, paleo, alkaline) based on your personal preferences. I tried the chilli tomato gazpacho and it was yummy. The ingredient's list was also very simple and the instructions were clear. I've learned a lot from it and been helped by using and understanding some of the symptoms I've been having.

Short & All-Encompassing

This is my first time reading a cookbook of sorts,but I am glad I started here. The writer seemed to have done considerable research into the properties of food, and explained scientifically, how and why certain foods combat inflammation. As a person who has a degree in a science based field, I would have loved for the writer to explain things more thoroughly, but with that said, I suppose there is merit also in conciseness. All things considered, I thought this is an above average book, and I recommend it.

High-quality Audio-book for any person that is combating to maintain their blood sugar levels in check. This publication suggests which you can beat diabetes and quite simply therapy yourself. Diabetes runs in our family. Although my sugar level is normal, I am still conscious on what I eat and do. Recently, my grandfather died because of complications and he is diabetic.
