Nice book
I have found this book very useful and well written. It explains a lot of things, helps with food and measurements. And it also contains some good recipes.
Could be confusing for the Keto NOOB...contradicts itself in places.
Just from looking at the sample there seems to be some misleading or confusing content in this book. Right at the beginning she states:
Hereâs a list of foods rich in saturated fat that you should avoid: â Fat from processed meats like sausages, ham, and burgers â Fatty meat â Hard cheeses â Butter â Lard â Ghee â Palm Oil
Later on, in the recipe section there are numerous recipes that include hard cheeses, butter, and bacon fact. This seems to fly in the face of what she said in the beginning. Now, she may have written some clarifying remarks that weren't in the beginning, but this contradiction (along with other things I've read on keto, LCHF) made me not want to purchase this book.
Not worth the cost.
Seriously small and basic for $14! This book is 50 pages with large print and no pictures or diagrams and only 8 recipes. Do NOT waste your money! For the same price, you could purchase a full-color, thorough explanation of the Keto Diet loaded with great recipes! Shop around and know what you are getting before you buy. If you need basic information, seek the free, downloadable version.
No help at all. Way too basic info.
I get that this book is an "intro" to keto. But come on. It is about 30 pages only of the MOST basic info out there. Easily you could get this info online for free. Buy this if you have no clue at all about a high protein/keto plan.
