Jesus begins teaching his disciples some very strong but basic day-to-day lessons. He talks about what obedience really looks like. He also discourages them from judging one another, while encouraging them to take on the character of their Heavenly Father

Jesus starts off by multiplying a catch of fish for Peter and his brother, and Jacob and John. (Jacob is written as James in many Bibles). Jesus is questioned about his authority to forgive sins and is also questioned about how he is leading His disciples. Listen to the Lord wisdom!

There is never a dull moment in the ministry of Jesus. He was always on the move, going about doing His Father's business.

John begins his ministry emerging from the desert being there for quite some time and he begins preaching the gospel. He begins baptising people which was something that was quite unheard of. That type of practice is not mentioned before in The Bible! It may be alluded to in the Old Testament but not actually practiced as a some type of religious rite or ritual and so John the Baptist is introducing new things. Then he turns around and baptises Jesus amongst baptising all the other sinners. So Jesus actually begins his ministry among sinners and ends his ministry for and with sinners - like you and me!

Jesus is born, and He's already in the move! Let's go!

Now, starting "Luke's Treasures," we start his account with the luce of Jesus with great precision. Luke was instrumental in the writings of Jesus' life, as well as the lives of the apostles - namely Paul - after Jesus departed. There are certain accounts in Luke that are not in the other Gospel writings. You'll hear The Prodigal Son and other notable stories. Enjoy!

Jesus rises from the dead, just like He said, but many of His discipkes didn't believe. He gives them what's called The Great Commission, then ascends to heaven to return to the Father!

Jesus' Final Moments

Those religious leaders continue to challenge Jesus, but His wisdom prevails every time. The Lord heavily goes into the signs of the end of times, with parables and precise world events. He warns His disciples of the antichrists that will show up, but Jesus also comforts them with the coming of the Holy Spirit. He concludes with the urging to always watch and pray!
