Another masterful lecture about our mind set

there's nothing like listening to Dr Murphy in helping us get into the correct mindset. he has helped me even after 30 years of religious studies, to understand the scriptures even more than I did, in a way that helps me more than ever.

Very Conversation Like

Gave it 4 stars because the delivery is LIVE as it says so it's not so much lecture like (as I expected) as it is uncle-to-niece like. Good but more free via YouTube good & not pay via Audible good.

Disappointing

Repetitive. The 'module' format is meaningless and doesn't allow for any development of concepts or ideas, instead fostering a repetitive style where you hear the reiteration of clichés about the book's 'great influence' on 20th century analytical philosophy, but no explanation of what that means in the context of the discipline as a whole. Superficial and truncated insights into how Wittgenstein relates to important disciplines such as sociology and anthropology and his influence on well-known theorists such as Bourdieu. The narrative stops at saying "Wittgenstein has been influential" and doesn't not take that idea any further in any meaningful way.

"Summary" is the key word in this title. No analysis whatsoever. My fault for not reading the reviews. Don't waste your time.

Rip off! Not kidding, and I'm not a troll.

I can't remember when I've written a negative review because I'm open to a book just not necessarily appealing to my taste. BUT, this book's content just names the chapter titles - not exaggerating - and wisdom should come from that?!? Audible should remove this from its offerings. If you don't believe me, buy it and offer your comments.
