"Mercy" has been on a rescue assignment for our lives when we were born into sin. God's mercy -His compassion, love, kindness towards us is so far-reaching. Mercy meets us in some of the most uncommon and hard places. Grace and mercy are often used interchangeably, but through the use of analogies and the Word of God, Litney hopes to enlighten listeners on what distinguishes the two. Even when we step out or feel pushed out of the fence of grace, mercy is near waiting for us to take hold and works with grace to help us in our time of need. Furthermore, we are maintained by mercy every day we wake up; and can find appreciation that mercy refuses to let us go!

Whether you listened to Part 1 or not, this message emphasizes our stance in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. Highlighting a passage of scripture from 2 Timothy 2:1-4 (King James Version). Litney provides illustrated context and life application. Whatever you are facing,  remember there is grace for you to get through it. Whatever God-given assignment God has chosen you for, remember He has given you grace to fulfill the assignment. With this grace, you can take joy in the fact that God makes no mistakes. 

Here is a message inspired by one word, "grace." Grace is essential in progressing despite the cares and troubles of this life. The grace of God helps us to go through hard times. It allows us to experience God's mercy that keeps us standing strong in spite of opposition. This episode draws upon a particular message Litney spake at her church a few years ago entitled, "Be Strong in the Grace of Christ Jesus."  By the end of this message, prayerfully you will be refreshed, recharged and ready to keep moving through life being strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

This is a special episode that prayerfully will stir the fire within your soul to the hope in God that brings help especially during dark times. Our emotions and feelings can certainly involve a roller coaster of reactions. Also, they can stir a lot of questions; and  what do you do when questions come to you daily, especially the one that inquires. "Where is your God?" Paralleling Psalm 42 to our present day life, I hope you can draw from the words of the Psalmist to find a reason to hope in God. There is a prayer included at the end.

Confusion and chaos seems to be wreaking havoc in our world and society. Where is our hope? Times seem so dark. Where is the light? Doesn't God see what's occurring, why hasn't He resolved this completely and eased all the troubles of this world? Have no fear...Jesus hears and is near...You are invited to "Step into the Light."
