What does it mean to rebuild your life after growing up in a warzone — and how do trauma, media, and mindfulness shape the journey toward inner peace? In this episode of Luca’s Insight Track, host Luca Allam sits down with Lana Medawar — renowned TV journalist, radio host, and founder of the Solist Mindfulness Hub — for a raw, heartfelt, and deeply personal exploration of identity, healing, and truth.
Born and raised in war-torn southern Lebanon, Lana’s story is one of survival, resilience, and reinvention. She shares powerful memories of living under occupation, how collective trauma impacts generations, and why her imagination and love for books quite literally saved her life. Luca and Lana dive into the emotional aftermath of growing up in fear, the hidden wounds of PTSD, and her radical shift from political journalism to mindful storytelling.
The conversation unpacks what it means to truly understand your emotions, regulate them, and live with intentionality. Lana opens up about her emotional insecurities, the liberating power of solitude, and how meditation, therapy, and journaling transformed her from within. They reflect on the difference between empathy and sympathy, the myths of objectivity in modern journalism, and why true authenticity resonates louder than scripted perfection.
From viral storytelling on social media to founding her own community focused on mindfulness, Lana offers a vulnerable and honest look at the courage it takes to leave behind what no longer serves you — even if it once defined you. The episode also explores the psychological toll of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the spiritual strength that sustains resistance, and how we can hold both peace and conflict within ourselves.
This is an unmissable episode for anyone navigating trauma, seeking clarity, or craving meaningful transformation. Whether you're a content creator, journalist, empath, or someone striving to live more mindfully in a chaotic world, Lana’s journey will leave you deeply moved, beautifully reflective, and inspired to step into your truth.
Tune in to discover how healing your past, listening to your inner voice, and embracing discomfort might just be the keys to living a truly aligned and fulfilling life.

What does it take to thrive in a world defined by uncertainty, rapid change, and exponential technology? In this episode of Luca’s Insight Track, host Luca Allam sits down with John Sanei — globally recognized futurist, bestselling author, and transformational speaker — for a fascinating and deeply personal conversation about our future, our inner worlds, and how to navigate what’s coming next with optimism and clarity.
John brings a rare combination of deep intellect, emotional depth, and lived experience. With 11 books, multiple TEDx talks, and a presence on stages across the globe, he shares his journey from early success and personal collapse to becoming one of the most sought-after voices on future trends and human transformation. Luca and John unpack the myths of AI, the illusion of control, and the importance of mental resilience in the age of disruption.
The conversation explores how most of us are unconsciously repeating our past through false memories and trauma loops — and how accessing altered states, such as through meditation or psychedelics, can help us break free. John offers eye-opening insights into the collapse of outdated systems like education and employment, and why the next era will demand creativity, emotional intelligence, and authenticity over degrees and titles.
Together, they reflect on the power of mindfulness, the hidden cost of ambition, and why men — especially those in their 40s — are facing a silent identity crisis. John shares vulnerable reflections on growing up with a single mother, the role of emotional healing in shaping his success, and why future-focused individuals must move from muscle to mind to heart. The episode also tackles how to raise children for the world ahead, how companies should build "tomorrow teams," and why the real revolution isn’t technological — it’s human.

Welcome to a special bonus episode of Luca’s Insight Track. In this 'Off Track' edition, I talk about the question we ask people every day? Hi, how are you? In the world of empathy, it’s not just about asking the question, but allowing time for the answer, probing further and listening without judgement or pre bias - that’s real curiosity.
Inspired by a great episode with Mimi Nicklin, I share my own insights about loneliness, and how loneliness is a symptom of people not being understood or listened to. Every day, we ask and answer questions about each other, and most of us choose to take the quick and easy way out when asking and when responding. Loneliness is easy to find, but even easier to hide it. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but when it comes to helping overcome mental health issues like anxiety, it has never been more important for us humans.
In this unfiltered, improvised and off scripted episode, I share my personal insights that have and continue to shape who I am. Tune in now for a raw and thought-inspired conversation on Off Track!

Welcome to a special bonus episode of Luca’s Insight Track. In this 'Off Track' edition, I open up on the world of content, from creators to platforms, what’s real and what’s fake, short form media and long form media, and what the future of human and AI will look like in the content world.
In this episode, inspired from a great episode with Pakman, I share my own insights about the correlation between long form media and quality content, why podcasts need to continue to play in the long form territory and avoid vanity social attention metrics, and why an impending divorce between creators and platforms could unlock a happier future. Yes, manipulation of algorithms & platforms and buying fake followers & engagements is ubiquitous - but there also exists content with real depth, truth & humanity, and that gives hope for all of us.
In this unfiltered, improvised, and off-scripted episode, I share my personal insights that have and continue to shape who I am. Tune in now for a raw and thought-inspired conversation on Off Track!

Welcome to a special bonus episode of Luca’s Insight Track. In this 'Off Track' edition, I talk about the insights I learned from my latest episode with Zeina Khoury. I reflect on the speed at which we pass judgment on others and the dangers of relying on first impressions. This becomes even more evident in the case of someone like Zeina, a successful CEO and a reality TV star & celebrity. Not judging a book based on its cover is easy to say, but extremely difficult to implement. The show allows me to really understand what’s in that book, break any stereotypes, and bring to light what I think really matters.
In this episode, I talk about the importance of looking beyond the initial judgments we make, to understand the why in order to better understand the ‘who.’ From afar, Zeina’s strong sense of pride in her achievements, her role on Dubai Bling, and her passion and love for fashion can paint a pretty easy book cover to read. However, when you turn the pages, you will learn that the initial judgments we have are much more a reflection on who we are than on the person we are judging. The hard truths are often always inside, and in a way, we actually need the help of others to help us come to terms and deal with them.
In this unfiltered, improvised, and off-scripted episode, I share my personal insights that have and continue to shape who I am. Tune in now for a raw and thought-inspired conversation on Off Track!

What does it take to be underestimated, rise above it, and redefine success on your own terms? In this powerful episode, Luca Allam sits down with Zeina Khoury — real estate mogul, CEO of Zed Capital, fashion entrepreneur, and star of Dubai Bling — for a conversation that is equal parts raw, real, and revolutionary.
Zeina opens up about the early days of her journey — arriving in Dubai, being rejected by a major real estate firm for not fitting the “right profile,” and turning that moment into the fuel that built an empire. From creating her own opportunities during the pandemic to becoming one of the most recognizable faces in the Arab world, Zeina’s story is the blueprint for anyone who’s ever been told “you’re not enough.”
They talk about the real side of reality TV — how Dubai Bling became a platform for deeper conversations, from body image to bullying, and why Zeina's iconic statement, “I am the company,” resonated with millions across the region. She discusses building credibility as a woman in male-dominated industries, the pressures of fame, the myth of “having it all,” and how being unapologetically herself helped her redefine both beauty and power on her own terms.
You’ll also hear her insights on Dubai’s ever-evolving real estate market, the truth about short-term vs long-term rentals, her take on whether there's a bubble coming, and how cities like Ras Al Khaimah are quietly becoming the next big frontier.
This episode is for anyone who’s been told no, who’s been overlooked, or who’s had to build something from nothing. Zeina reminds us that authenticity is power, vulnerability is strength, and you don’t have to change to fit the mold — you just have to own your story.

Welcome to a special bonus episode of Luca's Insight Track with Luca Allam! In this 'Off Track' edition, I talk about the insights learned from my present episode with Dariush Soudi, discussing the art and science of being a good salesman in 2025, and how to stand out in a sea of sameness, with so many products and services offering very similar solutions.
In this episode, I talk about 3 insights that will help shape the future of selling. For me, likability is now a major differentiator and remains incredibly important in the sales process, but can you teach someone how to be likable? With the insight that AI and machines are now able to buy and sell to other machines on our behalf, likability becomes even more important. As does the importance of thinking in the right mindset, radiating with positive energy, and manifesting opportunities. Being open and positive will not only attract the right type of employer, start-up partner, or collaborator, but it will also set you on a future-proofed course for success, because it gives us as humans the competitive edge.
In this unfiltered, improvised, and off-scripted episode, I share my personal insights that have and continue to shape who I am. Tune in now for a raw and thought-inspired conversation on Off Track!
