Manuela goes on a long bachelorette party for a last hurrah in An Island Princess Starts a Scandal by Adriana Herrera!!!

This is our first sapphic romance and we could not have been happier to pop that cherry with Herrera’s second book of the Las Leonas series.  We did not know how fun the chemistry could be.

This book has a top cringe feature, awful parent(s), plus a bonus uninvited fiancé.  However, we love that Manuela finally realizes she could control her destiny, and she grows from co-dependent to self-dependent.

Join us as we discuss the Island Princess choosing herself and staying in the City of Love!!!

Revenge sounds good, but does more damage in Queen Bee by Amalie Howard a Bridgerton x Count of Monte Cristo mashup!!!

Lady Ela has the breeding to be allowed near a future duke and the new family in town.  However, best friend Poppy, daughter of a solicitor, wants a meet-cute and she shows her true colors when she finds out Ela and Lord Keston already had multiple tea times.  Poppy’s vindictiveness sends Ela away and she reemerges years later as Lady Lyra.

We love a great revenge plot and reading the infiltrating details.  However, we enjoy the challenges to Lyra not being able to be 100% vengeful, deep down she is the same kind younger version of herself.

We enjoy the second chance relationship between Ela/Lyra and Keston.  They were once friends with a simmering attraction.  Keston has a second chance for his redemption, but Queen Bee has other plans.

Join us as we discuss this regency Mean Girls rollercoaster complete with yucky and embarrassing tricks towards a happily ever after!!!

What a treat!!  Queen Charlotte a Bridgerton story released earlier this month on Netflix and the novel by Julia Quinn and Shonda Rhimes soon followed.  We can read the amazing scenes from the film plus read the points of views from key characters.

We love Just George aka Farmer George and determined Charlotte.  There are many old and new odes to Bridgerton.  We cannot stand the doctor and his methods.  However, love and support is all around especially from our new favorite people, Young Brimsley and Reynolds.

We all need people who bring quality of life into our life and that is what Charlotte did for George.  We all need people… someone who will get under the bed with us and not only on even days.

Join us as we collaborate with ourselves, Tea At No5 @bridgerton2000, to discuss Queen Charlotte and King George III’s everlasting love!!
