Everyone manifests something all the time. We're all bearing fruit. The question is how can we insure what we manifest is something that will further our inner development?

No one likes to think of themselves as a piece in a cosmic game. There are many things that are true about which we do not like to think and do not wish to believe. It doesn't change the truth.

Annoyance is a two-edged sword. We can find people, things and life itself annoying at times. The other side of that is that we can be annoying to others with little or no effort or awareness.

"Oh Lord, it's hard to be humble, when you're perfect in every way." Being humble isn't anything like how it appears in the external world. There is a true humility that we can attain much more easily than we might have thought.

We may think being indulgent is something good or not so good. Here's a different way of looking at it that may give you the opportunity to glean new meaning for your work.

It's easy to see how offensive others can be. It can be difficult to understand how others could find us offensive. Being unpleasant doesn't take much effort. It's so easy we can do it in our sleep. This makes it difficult to observe.

Gratitude, thankfulness, praise, valuation and appreciation all have a common root cause. They also share a common end in the consciousness of man. States of Being may be attained through proper effort.

It's difficult to make progress when you don't have a clear, well stated, well organized aim or goal. It's like wandering in the woods when you have no sense of direction or purpose.

At the threshold of a new year is a good time to consider deeply the idea of renewal. There is much for us to do to prepare ourselves to be renewed. It's not easy but it is a worthwhile effort on the path of development.
