This podcast is for Literacy Leaders of ALL grade levels. When you see the term "Early LIteracy" those in 3rd - 12th grade might hit the skip button, but I assure you that you don't want to do that!  Early Literacy is critical for the overall health of our schools and the overall health of our students. In this podcast, I talk about the importance of creating word feasts and not word famines. You won't want to dawdle or be lackadaisical about listening to this one.  

This Podcast may not apply to you but let me tell you, it applies to me!!  When I dug into this topic, I had no idea that busy"ness" had cultural implications. I'm a culprit and needed to hear my own message today.  In this Podcast, I share 3 truths about busy"ness, and follow that up with 5 Ways to Combat busy"ness".

This episode is all about the magic of storytelling when it comes to being a Literacy Leader. Always know that you have a story to tell! AND...... you will understand why we should all say, "Let's have a parade!" 

For 15 years I've heard the same myths about audiobooks.  I've heard the reasons why not to use them.  Why it's cheating.
