Just before his press conference that day, he received data that indicated Coronavirus was spreading out of control.  He then took the podium to tell us it was safe to travel.  He said there was only one hotspot.  A few days later he stated and demonstrated that he was not taking any precautions because, as he said, the whole thing was a political stunt by the Democrats to make him look bad.  Between that press conference and the end of the first week in March, Coronavirus cases in the U.S. increased ONE THOUSAND FOLD.

That was his chance to make the right choice.  He did the opposite.  Now he must pay by first losing office, then his freedom.  He must be locked up in a 6x8' cell for the rest of his life so that our future leaders know we won't tolerate being put in front of the gun just to preserve the flow of income tax.

The 160 years have been a series of atrocities and systemic racism.  That's an undeniable, undebatable, indisputable fact.  In 2020, black men are 62.5 times as likely to be killed by police as white men.  They're not protesting because they want to be protesting.  They're doing it because they have to do it to survive.  You have stressed them to the point that something has to give, yet you won't even stop escalating the violence long enough for a conversation and sure as F*CK won't consider actually trying to address the fact that they are being oppressed and murdered.  So what's your endgame?  I'm afraid I know the answer....

You repress, exclude, vilify, attack and murder black people, then make THEM look like monsters while sweeping a whole history of racist atrocities under the rug.....what did you expect to happen?  I'm starting to think this is exactly what you were hoping for....

Trump supporters are just now realizing that their kids are about to learn about all the atrocities they tried to hide.  They are absolutely desperate to keep their kids from learning who their parents really are, so they will stop at nothing to shut down the 1619 Project.  

When you deny kids the information they need to make an accurate assessment of the world they live in, we end up with people like Kyle Rittenhouse.  Obviously the bulk of the responsibility for this tragedy is on Kyle himself.  He should pay the full price for what he did.  But we don't do ourselves any favors by denying the existence of contributing factors to what he did.

Slavery is all that schools teach about the history of atrocity against black people in America.  The vast majority of heinous crimes against black people is never taught at all.  Because of this, when the majority of the population see the scars on the surface of the black community, they assume that they are simply "still upset about slavery," when the atrocities have never stopped even to this day.  They attribute the damaged condition of the black community to their inherent inferiority when in reality, they have been sabotaged, undercut, excluded, attacked, and murdered on a level that comes as a shock to any decent human being with a conscience.  

When you don't know these things, it makes it much easier to make black people look like a problems that can only be solved with an AR-15.

I wouldn't say it if I couldn't easily back it up with FACTS.  Freedom of the press, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, and the separation of powers.  Trump is against all of these things and so are his supporters.  

Trump has attacked legitimate, honest journalism countless times.  He has executed unprovoked attacks against peaceful protesters and lied about it.  He has shamelessly pandered to the religious right.   He has consolidated power by putting his lobbyist cronies in charge of government agencies, intimidated and manipulated the Republican party into never holding him accountable for his words or actions, and radicalizing them to the point of backing him up no matter how corrupt he becomes.  He has abused executive power constantly, using executive orders to shield himself from the consequences of his actions and has pardoned some incredibly evil pieces of s***.

If you could choose one or the other, would you choose the principles put in place by the Founding Fathers, or would you choose Trump's America?  You can't have both - Trump's vision is absolutely incompatible with the principles this country was founded on.  They are mutually exclusive.  If you choose Trump, several very important freedoms and the checks and balances on presidential power will disappear.

If that's the choice you're going to make, at least be f***ing honest about it acknowledge that you have completely written off the Founding Fathers.

Your stated reasons for supporting Trump are obviously false.  By your actions, you've revealed your real agenda.  You are clearly against religious freedom, freedom of the press, and the freedom to assemble.  

Freedom of religion obviously has to go.  People being allowed to practice any crazy religion they want to?  Really, we're doing them a favor by making Christianity the law of the land.

The U.S. being a nation of immigrants?  Obviously you've decided that idea didn't work, so immigration has got to go.  Both legal and illegal.  Maybe if we put enough kids in dog cages, it will convince them to stay in Mexico and allow themselves to die in a hail of cartel bullets.  

You know, the cartels that are funded by American drug use but are somehow totally Mexico's fault.  THOSE cartels.

Rather than have people assemble and protest when they see injustice, you would prefer to just have an authoritarian ruler with whom you ideologically agree swoop in and unilaterally force the situation into the shape you and he prefer.  

The idea of reforming the police so that black people are no longer 62.5 times as likely to be killed by police as whites is not the right solution for you either.  Harder crackdowns are definitely a better solution.

And having a FREE PRESS?!  They would just report all the stuff that happens with no regard for how it makes our Glorious Leader look!  It's much better to just make Sean Hannity the Information Minister of the Christian States of America so the news we get is properly curated.

Seriously, your agenda is obvious.  By pretending to actually care about the Constitution or any of the ideas this nation was founded upon, you're just insulting everyone's intelligence at this point.

Long ago, I was just like you.

There was a time when I was a troubled kid who was surrounded by and absorbed some of the same racist, homophobic, and xenophobic ideas that you Trump supporters live by.  As I neared adulthood, I realized I didn't actually believe any of that stuff and quickly grew out of it, but those experiences have helped me understand how you think and how you became addicted to the delusions that feed your distorted view of the world.

I thought you would have a lot to say about her, but I was wrong.  This is all you have:

1) Attacking her solely on the basis that she's a woman by calling her "Kameltoe Harris"

2) Using the racial slurs "Heinz 57" and "mutt" in reference to her racial background

3) Implying she slept her way to the top by calling her "Heels-Up/Heels-High Harris" because she dated a politician, even though 22% of married couples in the US meet in the workplace. 

4) Echoing Trump's extremely inaccurate claim that she and Biden are "far-left", "extremists" and "socialists" when they're actually pretty close to the middle.

5) Criticizing her for prosecuting marijuana offenders (aka doing her job) while simultaneously voicing extreme opposition to decriminalization (Can you make up your mind?  Please?)

I have a few things to say to the groups that make up Trump's primary base of support.

Here are the 3 groups:

1) The Uninformed - those who willingly get their information from biased sources and as a result, have no idea what is actually happening in the world.

2) The Agenda Group - those who have economic or religious agendas that they have prioritized over the lives of everyone who has died and will die in this pandemic.

3) The White Supremacists - those who hate everyone different from them and are very, very glad that Coronavirus is killing black and brown people at a rate of 3 to 1 over white people.

When we were hunters and gatherers and Nomads, it made sense to be afraid new groups of people. Back then, we didn't have access to information about other cultures. They could be cannibals or Raiders or anything.

But while times have changed, some people haven't. They brought the fear of tribalism into the present day and react with that same wearing this to anyone who doesn't look, worship, or love in the same way they do. Rather than go outside their comfort zone and learn about people who are different, they take the Cowardly way out and Surround themselves with a bubble of racism, homophobia, and xenophobia.

To further ensure that they never have to deal with anyone different, they want to make the place they live as inhospitable to those who are different as they can. When their leaders turn out to be Mass murderers, they fear the consequences of having to admit that they were wrong, so they never will. When they realize they're racist, homophobic, and xenophobic worldview is wrong, they will never change because then they would have to admit that all the people they hurt in service of those beliefs did not deserve the way they were treated.

Just as their leader would never, ever admit to having made a mistake, neither will they.

That's just how cowards are.
