When Fox News called Arizona for Joe Biden before most other news organizations did, Donald Trump reacted by removing 30% of Fox News viewers. Just for fun, I imagine a world where we fill that gap and then some, voting with our viewership and forcing them to react to a precipitous drop in viewers whenever Sean Hannity or Tucker Carlson show up on screen to deliver their bloviating hate propaganda by hurling them out the window into an alley like the wet, chunky contents of a medieval chamber pot, forever relegating the sweet, cheesy stink of their toxic ideas to the likes of News Max or OAN.  

In all seriousness, I hold Sean Hannity personally responsible for exaggerating the level of violence in his coverage of the Black Lives Matter protests and directly influencing Kyle Rittenhouse to load up his rifle, drive to Kenosha, and start shooting people.  His exit from the journalistic landscape would be a net positive for the world.

Donald Trump and Emperor Hirohito, when faced with a hopeless battle and impending consequences for their time in office, relied on the same tactics. Both fed an alternate reality to their people which insisted there was still hope for victory.  Both weaponized the same kind of hatred and fear of the opposition. Both demanded the same kind of unquestioning, self-sacrificing loyalty. Both manipulated and used their own people into fighting a hopeless battle to save their own cowardly skin.

This BS lawsuit that Jonathan Mattingly has filed against Breonna Taylor's boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, is getting very little media coverage when it should be provoking an outpouring of outrage across the country.  This is the very definition of a SLAPP  (strategic lawsuit against public participation) suit, designed to intimidate Kenneth Walker into dropping his lawsuit against the the Louisville PD.

Trump is clinging to office because sitting Presidents cannot be indicted.  He is not fighting for you.  Yet you continue to give him the power to intimidate send it Republicans into staying quiet while he attempts to cancel Democracy itself.

Without your support, he would not be able to do so much damage.

How would his behavior look to you if this was happening in another country?

Trump has abandoned all pretense of being the leader of a Democratic Republic.  He is now attempting to overturn the election with faithless electors. The mask is off for good now. Maybe that's a good thing. I wish you Trump supporters would do the same thing and start being candid with the rest of us about how you can possibly find it in yourself to continue supporting him after everything he's done. If you'd like to explain it to me, if it matters to you what the rest of the world thinks of you, speak up at the link I provided and leave an anonymous voice message explaining it, because we haven't gotten an honest answer out of you yet.

Kenneth Walker, in an impressive display of cool headedness, marksmanship, and compassion, intentionally shot to wound rather than to kill.   In that moment, he did Officer Jonathan Mattingly a huge favor as he could have easily shot him in the head. He would have been well within his rights (and abilities) to do so considering that the officers who raided his and Breonna Taylor's house that night did not identify themselves as police.  Jonathan Mattingly is returning the favor by filing what is an obvious SLAPP suit against Kenneth Walker.  I thought I knew how evil and dirty cops could be, but they keep lowering the bar.

They see this as a war. They see us as the Insurgency because that is how Donald Trump has characterized us. They don't care if it's actually true, they just know that it is what Donald Trump wants them to believe, so they obediently believe it.  They don't fact check him because they couldn't care less whether he tells the truth or not. Anything he or they can do to get back at Democrats is acceptable to them because they see us as the enemy. They don't see us as fellow Americans deserving of a  vote.   

It's very clear that Trump supporters will only engage honestly with other Trump supporters. In the Echo chamber. It's also very clear that they know the election was legit. Their real issue with it is that they believe anyone who voted for Biden is a traitor and therefore doesn't deserve to have their vote counted.

YAWN.
