  • Be Yourself with Filippo Voltaggio

Please welcome #FilippoVoltaggio to our #LittleItalyOfLA Podcast , a man of many talents.

Filippo is truly a master and talent of nearly anything he touches. He is an author, “The Little Dog That Could,” singer, songwriter, life coach, and so much more. He started his career as a successful fortune-500 business executive, but decided he was destined for more. So he left the world of business behind to follow his passion for music, which was instilled in him at a young age listening to opera and Italian music with his family. In fact, he and his songs have appeared in numerous films, such as “A Walk in The Clouds” with Keanu Reeves and “Noise” with Tim Robbins. Yet, this wasn’t the final chapter for Filippo.

Filippo then decided to put his singing career on hold to pursue hosting, and his “The LIFE CHANGES Show” earned him the “President’s Call to Service Award,” as in President Barack Obama,” and the “Master Award” from the Save the World Foundation.

It seems anything he touches turns to gold. There’s more, but you’ll have to tune in to our show. I’m your host, #DeborahZaraKobylt, a proud Italian-American. Our podcast is available on all video and audio platforms, so please “like us,” leave a comment, and invite your friends, too. Ciao

  • Bringing Sardegna to Socal with Barbara Locci

Want to get to the Italian countryside but it’s not convenient at the moment? Then meet Barbara Locci, owner of the @Sardegna_Ranch in San Diego.

Barbara is from #Sardinia, and she fashioned her ranch much like her native Italian island, and she spoke with host of our Little Italy of LA Podcast, Deborah Zara Kobylt. #SardegnaRanch is a beautiful, relaxing 28-acre property along the Potrero Creek waterway, and is a little-known secret for anyone looking to get-away.

The property has its own pond, bee-keeping area where Barbara makes her own honey, and a brick oven for guests to make their own pizzas and learn some of Barbara’s favorite recipes. It’s like camping in Italy, yet way closer to home.

It's easy to see why HipCamp.com called Sardegna “a relaxed, beautiful retreat in Southern California.”
