Little Red Radio was a Saturday morning children's program on KJHK, originally started by fellow alum Annie Harrigan, but inherited by the Good Evening crew, who augmented the games, children's songs and audio adventures with its own brand of surreal slapstick, adapted for younger audiences. Here are some of the skits that we ran in between Animaniacs songs and He-man story records. The original programming here was heavily influenced by the wild un-focus-grouped lunacy of early-90s shows of Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, that refused to patronize kids, but pointed out the ridiculousness of the grown world they saw.
