  • Nicola Lavin - Living with Lyme Disease

This week we chat to the amazing Nicola Lavin.

15 years after getting bitten by a tick during a J1 holiday in Montauk,  Nicola was diagnosed with Lyme Disease.

Nicola chats to us about the signs and symptoms, some more obvious than others, and what we can do to protect ourselves while enjoying the outdoors.

Nicola struggled for 15 long years, raised a son, got married and still had no idea why she was feeling so sick.

We hope by chatting with Nicola, we can help spread awareness about Lyme Disease. Nicola told us to trust your gut, be firm with your doctors if you have been bitten and check yourself after being out in nature.

Nicola is an extraordinary person, full of positivity and light and we are so glad she is feeling more like herself everyday!

  • Drew Vernon - Tonies

This week we chat with Drew Vernon,  Marketing Director at Tonies, former Brand Director at Lego, former Marketing Researcher for P&G, founder of 'Moppets' drop in childcare and a loving father.

Drew came on to chat to us about the fast growing product called the Toniebox.

'The Toniebox uses audio storytelling to introduce pre-readers and developing readers to the wonders of narrative long before children can read the words in a book. When children combine tonies with play, they unlock the real wonder of storytelling - a mix of fascination, surprise, curiosity and a craving for exploration all stirred together. Through this, they discover powers within to create and transport themselves to worlds and wonders all on their own.'
Created by a group of preschool fathers , we learned that the Toniebox is not just a device to play songs and tell stories but a gateway to opening and unlocking a childs imagination.

    We hope you enjoy it!
