The Apostle Peter addresses the saints, reminding us of our responsibility to live a Godly life—especially those who have been exposed to the gospel. Elder Chris explains that the grace of God should permeate every aspect of our lives, though it will pale in comparison to the grace revealed at the second coming of Jesus Christ. Until then, we are called to be holy in our manner of life, just as God is holy. Our motivation is found in the sufferings and death of the Lord Jesus Christ. The blood of Christ breaks down the barriers that separate us; it is an everlasting covenant from which none of us can fall. Through it, peace has been established between Heaven and earth, and we are able to draw near to God.
