Solo Glenn anticipated a call from Attorney Joe Stanley but that never happened. Glenn did talk about last night's school board meeting and how local Pre-K schools will not be seeing funding due to talking up in public about the topic. Glenn also read a letter from a dad who had a lot to say about how the coaches at Watertown High School are not getting the support the need to coach teams. Good letter, good show!
Solo Glenn covered the bases with local issues, including the Superindendent's choice to exclude local pre-schools to the Watertwon City School district budget. Glenn also talked about his friend Liz, and her appeal for NYC Democratic mayoral candidate Mumdani. Glenn can't understand how Liz thinks he's the answer to NY's problems. Good show!
Solo Glenn had an open topic kind of show today, but there was some talk about Driver's Eduction and why is it only available for Summer School only? Donnie is living out of state, and SG wants to move to Vegas. Do we have soldiers on the moon? Plus, Glenn sees the old Democrats joining Republican voters in the very near future. This is apparent in the mayoral race in NYC, where dems are asking Republican voters to keep Eric Adams. Good show!
Solo Glenn covered the Zorhan Mumdani story throughout the show today. His rise to power speaks volumes, and gives an opportunity for the richest members of the Muslim world to prosper in America's most significant city. Many callers including Danny who argued Democrats don't hate America. Good show!
Glenn had his monthly conversation with Jerry Manor who advised the elderly to be careful of samamers and use better judgement during the 4th of July week! Then Glenn covered the latest results for the city council race. It appears one candidate is not part of the final four after a reconout. The rest of the show, Glenn gave his thoughts to the future of NYC and the Democratic party. Also, Glenn had a wicked dream of a nuclear explosion in his childhood home in Quuens. Good show!
The heat and a broke down vehicle has caught up with Glenn. Glenn talked about the primary results in Watertown and in New York City. He also talked about how he couldn't trim his propteries because he changed cars and never transferred stuff from one to the other. No, not a big deal, but an example of something that drives Glenn crazy. Glenn spoke with Attorny Joe Stanley about being aware of motorcycles and road rage incidents.
It's Primary Day, Judgement Day for Watertown's (7) council candidates and the BIG mayoral primary in NYC. Glenn also read a letter from a businessman who is frustrated with Watertowh's garbage bag policy. This attracted several callers with similar concerns. Glenn says American cities will all go socialist by 2040 or sooner. Glenn also read an ABC article suggesting Iran's nuclear sites are still intact enough to build a bomb afterall. Glenn sees this as a typical response, and that the left truly wants Trump to fail. Good show!
Glenn was solo Friday and talked mostly about the 'state' of Watertown and its relation to NYS politics. Will homelessness be worse, will mental illness be addressed? Glenn wants to be optimistic, but it doesn't look good. Plenty of good calls today! Good show!
