    Worship in the Spirit

    INTRODUCTION:

Jesus Christ is opening up to us a relationship with the Father. Even though we may only have a limited relationship up to this point, the believers are having revelations in their worship that are breaking through to a deeper awareness of the Father.

    SHOW NOTES:

    • The Lord is leading us into a greater relationship, which is out of our comfort zone, or how we know Him in the past.

      • This is a journey that we may not know where we are going.

        • Though we have had revelations of Him, they may give us an incomplete picture of where we are going.

          • As Christ opens up new revelations to us, it will bring us into greater understanding of the Father.

            QUOTATIONS:

            • It's a relationship with the Father that Jesus Christ is opening up to us.

              • You're not gonna know the next step until God reveals it to you.

                • Realize this—you're in the land, and you're taking possession of the kingdom, but it may not happen all at once; you may have to reach into one level after another level.

                  • We do have revelation, and it may not be complete yet, but we have to follow what we do have.

                    • This worship is gonna take us all the way on through.

                      REFERENCES:

                      Hebrews 11:8

By faith, Abraham being called obeyed to go out into the place which he was to receive for an inheritance, and went out, not knowing where he was going.

                      John 14:20

In that day you will know that I am in the Father , and you are in Me, and I am in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself t him.

                      Proverbs 8:17

I love those who love Me; and those who diligently seek Me will find Me.

                      TAKE AWAY:

This is a day when the experiences with the Lord are very personal. Jesus Christ is leading those who truly seek Him to proceed into uncharted territory—where we can get to know the Father, perhaps for the first time, or possibly in a greater way. He has promised that those who diligently seek Him will find Him. The door is open for each one of us to get deeper revelations of the Father.

                    • Our Baptism Into Christ
*Listen to the Show notes and podcast transcript with this multi-language player.

                      Summary:

Water baptism is to be a total experience in Christ. We are baptized into His death and then raised into His life. Our expression of faith and anticipation in Christ's provision is a key to unlock the great experiences of forgiveness and cleansing of sin, the total eradication of the sin nature, and the resurrection life of Christ in us.

                      Show Notes:

                      • Baptism is to be an experience like salvation is.

                      • Baptism is another major advance in a walk with God.

                      • Baptism is your expression of faith and anticipation of a meeting with God.

                      • Baptism is a provision from Christ of cleansing and forgiveness of sin.

                      • Baptism is a provision to see the total eradication of the sin nature in us.

                      • Baptism is linked to the receiving of the Holy Spirit.

                      • I am baptized into His death and into His life.

                        Quotes:

                        • Water, baptism supposed to be an experience. You are immersed, baptized into the death of Christ. You come up out of that, risen as a new person actually having an experience of it.

                        • What we're talking about here is major experiences in our life. If you're going from one level to the next, major advances in your walk with God.

                        • Can you be baptized one time, two times, three times, four times, five times six?Yes. You can be baptized as many times as the Lord leads you to be baptized because you are expressing and you're entering into a new level of relationship with the Lord.
                        • You're not approaching it as just a thing to do because you're a Christian or it's a sacrament. You're approaching with faith and with an anticipation 'cause you're expecting an experience with the Lord.
                        • We can use baptism as a cleansing from sin, a forgiveness from sin, like the blood of Christ too.
                        • I'm being baptized for the eradication o f the sin nature. Not just the forgiveness of sin, but the literal eradication of the very nature of sin within me. Believe that when I come out of that water, my sin nature has been crucified.
                        • Christ's baptism in water. He came up out of the water and the Father said, this is my son, and who am I well pleased. But the evidence of the importance of baptism and the Holy Spirit comes out right there.
                        • I'm totally in His death. I'm totally in His resurrection. Each thing that we're talking about. Salvation Immersion. All this is being baptized into Jesus.

                        • References:

                          Romans 6:3-5

Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection,

                          Acts 2:38

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

                          Matthew 3:13-17

Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented. As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
                          Mark 1:8
I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

                          Takeaway:

Today believers are reaching into the great provision of water baptism with a faith and anticipation to experience the total release from the sin nature and the impartation of the resurrection life of Christ in them. Baptism does not have to be a one time event, but can be an unfolding experience that you can express your faith in Christ provision today.

                          Summary:

It is important that we honor the Holy Spirit in us. The Father sent the Holy Spirit to help us and unveil Christ to us. There is great power and authority in the Holy Spirit, who serves as our connection to both Christ and the Father. The Holy Spirit reminds us of what Christ said and how we are to respond to the Father. Every day, we develop our relationship with the Holy Spirit, and it is important that we learn to listen to Him. The Holy Spirit is the gift that the Father has given us to help us hear His voice, as it is indeed His voice.

                          Show Notes:

                          • The significant point is that the Holy Spirit provides access to Jesus Christ and the Father, and we must not bypass this. The Holy Spirit leads us into all things, acting as a direct link to the Father, since He comes from the Father.

                          • We need a helper. The Holy Spirit, sent from the Father, enables us. He shows us, leads us, directs us, and reminds us of what Christ spoke. He also reminds us of who the Father is and how to respond.

                          • The is great power and authority in the Holy Spirit.

                          • Our relationship with the Holy Spirit is something we develop over time. As we cultivate this relationship, we may see many things speed up because we have learned to wait on Him and to listen. It is, without a doubt, the most fantastic gift that God has ever poured out on His people.

                          • The Holy Spirit embodies many qualities, but fundamentally, He is the channel of God to us."

                            Quotes:

                            • I think there's a divine order in God. And I think that when you bypass that divine order, you have a difficult time.

                            • You see that when Christ said, I'm gonna send you a helper. He didn't say, just talk to Me, or just go to the Father. But He goes, no, I'm gonna send you a helper. And He's going to unveil Christ to us.

                            • ...we see the real explosion, if you wanna say, or the real outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the day of Pentecost. We have a glimpse of the power and authority that is in the Holy Spirit.
                            • That's the point I think of what He was saying is I'm giving you the Holy Spirit so that you do have access to Jesus Christ and to the Father. You just simply do not bypass that.
                            • The Holy Spirit is the one that's gonna lead us into all things. It's like having a direct contact to the Father because it came from the Father.
                            • We need a helper. The Holy Spirit was sent from the Father, and He enables us. He shows us, he leads us. He directs us. He reminds us of what Christ spoke. He reminds us of who the Father is and how to respond.
                            • In the Holy spirit resides all the gifts, all the wisdom and knowledge, all the revelation. It all resides in the Holy Spirit. We don't have a shortage of God.
                            • The Holy Spirit is simply the voice of God.
                            • The relationship with the Holy Spirit is something that we develop.
                            • And as we develop a relationship with the Holy Spirit, we'll see so many things you might say speed-ed up,because we've learned to wait on Him. We've learned to listen.
                            • It's the most fantastic thing that God has ever poured out on His people.
                            • The Holy Spirit is many different things, but He's one thing. He is the channel of God to us.

For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among people knows the thought of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.

                              Romans 8:26

                              Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;

All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

                              1 Corinthians 3:16

Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

                              Ephesians 1: 13-14

In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of the promise who is a first installment of our inheritance, in regard to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.

                              Takeaway:

It is very important that we honor the Holy Spirit within us. The Father sent the Holy Spirit to help us and unveil Christ. The Holy Spirit holds great power and authority, serving as our connection to Christ and the Father. He reminds us of Christ’s teachings and guides our responses to the Father.

Hello everyone and welcome to a very special time of Worship. This podcast is a recording of some of the family simply coming together to worship and exalt our Lord. This recording is raw and unpolished and is simply our attempt to share with you an experience in His presence. Much of the singing is what the Word talks about of worshiping in the Spirit and is the worshipers singing in the gift of tongues. Whether you have received this gift of the Holy Spirit or not you too can simply open your heart and flow along with us as the Holy Spirit leads us into a time of Worship and experience in a small part what Christ talked about in the scriptures how the Father is seeking those who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

Exalted Christ, exalted Christ, We bow and worship before Thy throne. Exalted Christ,

exalted Christ, We bow and worship before Thy throne. Shepherd, Father, All sufficient

One, And our great High Priest.

Exalted Christ, exalted Christ, We bow and worship before Thy throne. Exalted Christ,

exalted Christ, We bow and worship before Thy throne. Shepherd, Father, All sufficient

One, And our great High Priest.

                              (Singing in the Spirit)

(Psalm sung by one of the family)

(This song was hummed and a few words sung of that last few verses)

We will always know Your love, we will always know Your love. We will always know

Your love, we will always know Your love.

                              (Singing in the Spirit)

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost but

now am found, Was blind but now I see. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And

grace my fears relieved: How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed.

                              (Meditation on the Lord)

Love You, I love You. I love You, I love You. Love You, I love You. I love You, I love

You. That nothing that's before me moves me like You do. And from mourning until

evening the feeling is the same, I love You, I love You. I love You, I love You. I love

You, I love You. My heart is set upon You, That nothing that's before, moves me like

You do. And from mourning until evening, the feeling is the same. I love You, I love

You. I love You, I love You.

                              Summary:

God's promises are timeless and can be appropriated and walked in as we truly believe them. We must not be bluffed out by Satan's lie that says; “Hath God said?” Christ gave us a perfect provision and there is now no more delay! We live on the belief and appropriation of His Word.

                              Show Notes:

                              • God's promises have a timeless quality that can be appropriated and walked in now.

                              • How long do you have to wait for the fulfillment of His promises? When you believe.

                              • When will the kingdom of God be manifested? It's now!

                              • Everyday we reach into His Word to walk in it.

                              • Don't listen to Satan when he whispers in your ear “Hath God said?”

                              • The human nature will put things off. If you believe His promises then voice your appropriation of them and walk in them.

                              • Our declaration is that it is done in me now!

                              • His provision is perfect and we can claim it now and receive it forever!

                                Quotes:

                                • It would be so easy for us to miss God because our faith does not anticipate this timeless quality of fulfillment. God does not intend for things to take as long as they do - not at this period in time.

                                • How long will it take? Does not have to take any time at all, depending upon the faith and the prayers of the saints.

                                • The kingdom of God is now. That's the key.

                                • Every day we're appropriating what He's done, what He's fulfilled. We appropriate it. And as we appropriate it, we're reaching into more.

                                • Satan will go, oh yeah, you can definitely have that sometime in the future. It's easy to accept that, yeah, I believe it, and yeah, someday I'm gonna have it...

                                • No more delay. Especially when we are believing for the appropriation of a perfect provision of Christ that is clearly stated in the scriptures.

                                • There's a tendency to to put things off. I believe by faith I've got it. Well then why are you putting it off? Why don't you appropriate it and voice that you have it? And why don't you walk in it? We will voice things and create it by voicing it, and then there's no more delay.

                                • I want to win this race, not come in second, or third

                                • We live on the belief and the appropriation to make this Word work.

                                • It's done in me. That's appropriation because you no longer have that lie in your ear that says, hath God said.

                                • By one offering, He has accomplished it. The provision is perfect. Something that we can claim just one time, and we will receive it for all time.

                                  Takeaway:

Christ is our perfect provision and the Father's promises are timeless. We declare and stand on His Word and put no confidence in our flesh. We live each day in His faith and appropriate His provision to walk out His promises today.

                                  Introduction

Hello everyone, I'm Ron your host and welcome to another episode from Live Behind the Veil. I am very excited about what the Holy Spirit is opening up for us to share with everyone. This is a whole new category that we have titles “Come Worship With Us.”

These podcast will be recordings of groups of believers getting together to Worship in the Spirit. Altough the term Worship in the Spirit may be unfamiliar to you, it is simply a term used in the scriptures to define what true worship is as far as God sees it. God is looking for those who will worship Him in Spirit and truth.

To try and define worship in a short time would be very limited and would not even scratch the surface of what true worship to the Father is. Instead, I would like to invite you to experience some of what we are talking about first hand. Listen to these worship times with an open heart and in your own way enter into the flow of Spirit.

In these recordings you will hear a variety of expressions; from congregational singing, small groups in homes worshiping, individuals singing psalms, people singing in the gift of tongues and more. It all comes from an open heart to the Lord to give to Him what He is looking for.

We have copied all the words of the songs and have placed them in each podcast so that you can enter into the Spirit and have a wonderful experience with the Lord.

I hope these times of worship will be a foundation in which you can enter into a deep worship and relationship with the Lord.

                                  Looking For Your Presence

Looking for Your presence, it is You I want to know, the mystery of Christ in me, alive! Clinging to the Holy Spirit, for He has come to show the way You will appear to me today.

Would that my heart is willing to find you where You will be found now; Would that my eyes are looking to see You where You are appearing now.

Would that my heart is willing to find you where You will be found now; Would that my eyes are looking to see You where You are appearing now.

Would that my heart is willing to find you where You will be found now; Would that my eyes are looking to see You where You are appearing now.

Praise To Our Lord And King

All our voices singing; we will raise together our song, Praise to our Lord and King!

We declare our love to our Father, and we live our lives to bring honor to Him, Aleluia! Loudly we sing, Praise to our Lord and King!

As we gather in our Lord's house, reaching out to love Him; We will bow and kneel at His feet, crying to be His sons.

We declare our love to our Father, and we live our lives to bring honor to Him, Aleluia! Loudly we sing, Praise to our Lord and King!

We declare our love to our Father, and we live our lives to bring honor to Him, Aleluia! Loudly we sing, Praise to our Lord and King!

                                  Father, I Turn To You

Father, I turn to You. Your Word has come like the mourning sun and I turn to You. Father I turn to You. When the stars draws nigh in the evening sky I turn to You. You have called my name forever. As You draw me near, I will not turn my heart away. Father I turn to You. Every hour I pray I am Yours today. I turn to You.

Father, I worship You. On bend-ed knee I bow to Thee, I worship You. Father, I worship You. With lifted face my hands I raise, I worship You. I will build Your throne with my songs to You. When You take Your place, I will not turn my heart away. Father, I worship You. From my heart I sing, let Your praises ring, I worship You.

                                  Synopsis

A walk with God begins with a revelation of the Lord, and it is the worshiper who will come into that revelation. With each deeper step in revelation there is a corresponding step into deeper worship. Those who will walk with God are those who set themselves to follow on to know the Lord with undistracted devotion. It is this worship that takes us beond the veil into His very presence.

                                  Summary:

God is working His will out in those who open up to Him and totally give over their will to Him. This spiritual balance between God's working and the intuitive of faith and willingness in us produces an atmosphere that God can create His will in us. In all that He allows us to go through, we give back to Him a deep worship and thankfulness knowing that He is working out His perfect will in our lives.

                                  Show Notes:

                                  • God is the beginning and the end in our lives.

                                  • There is a balance between God working in us and our initiative to do His will.

                                  • We allow Him to work in our lives to accomplish his will.

                                  • He is faithful to finish His work in us.

                                  • In all He lets us go through good and bad, we are commanded to give thanks.

                                  • When we give thanks in all things we are saying You are the Lord and I submit to your working out Your will in my life.

                                    Quotes:

                                    • God starts something and He's gonna finish it. He's the alpha and He's the omega. He's the beginning and the end. Yes, He is that, but what He does in us is the same thing.

                                    • There's a balance in this because if, if we say that He is the, Alpha and the Omega, we're His workmanship, but we take an attitude I don't have to do anything and He's gonna do it all.

                                    • There is an initiative on our part that we have to open the door so that He can become in us what is necessary to bring us totally into the presence of the Father.

                                    • It's about allowing Him to come into our lives and be that part of us that we are constantly in, in a relationship with. He can actually lead us by His presence and direct us by His will.

                                    • His will is to complete the work in us. The initiative on our part is to give Him our will to do that.

                                    • And so if we live in the spirit, walk in the spirit and love each other in the spirit, we're reaching into that realm and all things give thanks.

                                    • It's not easy to give thanks into all things, but I'll tell you what that is a perfecting your spirit.

                                    • ...when you give thanks, you're saying, Lord, I am your son, and what You do with me is your business, not mine.

                                        • Each of us have something to give to each other that the Lord has given us, that the Lord has placed within us.

                                        • You love us just the way we are - with all of our limitations, and our struggles.

                                        • The thing of God that sets this whole thing apart is His commitment to us in spite of all of our feelings and emotions that would want to deny His love for us.

                                        • That's the secret about this whole thing. It doesn't require emotions and feelings and sensations initially, but you can get excited when you see Him manifest Himself through each and every one of us, including yourself.

                                        • It's Him bringing it forth in these vessels that open themselves up to His love, to the awareness of who He is.

                                        • Tell him how much you love Him and you'll find out you just pulled the cord on the waterfall, His love back to you.
