In Episode 1 of Season 2, I talk with the Queen of Neptune City, Nicole Atkins. Nicole and I discuss her most recent releases, Italian Ice and Memphis Ice, pandemic and post-pandemic life, alcoholism, and recovery, and focusing on your anus, not the seventh planet from the Sun.

In Episode 34, I talk with Portland-based singer-songwriter Jeffrey Martin. Jeffrey and I discuss life, music, the sometimes-overgeneralized dichotomy of society, beat writers, and songwriting.

In Episode 33, I sit down with the singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Jason Pipkin. Jason is currently the touring keys and bass player for The Lone Bellow. In Episode 29, I speak with Joe Troop, founder of the GRAMMY nominated Che Apalache. Joe is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter, and we discuss Joe's new solo album, Borrowed Time, his recent journey as an activist, and making a change in the world with music.

In this week’s episode Marcus sits down with Lauren Morrow, singer, songwriter, and guitarist, to discuss her solo career, her past life with The Whiskey Gentry, and learning to be patient.
