Chapter Thirteen

Enter Ravina. She lands at the Pearly Gates after she was shot escaping from prison before she was due to be hung as a witch among other things. St Peter has bad feelings about her and thinks she is evil.  He has Joshua take her to the Fossilized Forest to a tiny little cottage. Ravina is incensed and angry. Joshua tells her she will get used to it.

Chapter Twelve

Our three characters land softly in front of the Wyrd Home for Weyward Witches. They are welcomed in by Sandie Witch and Evillina who sends them to the parlor where the witches are having a tea party. Wendy invites them in for tea and Stanley brewed pots for them. It was a merry tea party, and the witches tell of their lives as the witches in Macbeth. As Gwen, Bart and Wanda prepare to leave, Willa, in a trance, foretells an omen of Evil, Darkness. Chaos and Conflict.

“Fair is foul, and foul is fair,

Hovers in the fog and filthy air”.

Chapter Eleven

Bart wakes and hears Gwen cooking breakfast. She takes out her wand and changes the color of his robe so he looks more presentable. They both take off and start flying over the forest when a witch, out of control flies into them. Gwen grabs her and takes her down into a clearing in the forest. Bart helps as Gwen de-spells Wanda’s broom and they fly off to Puckering Pond.

Chapter Ten

Bart wakes up  from his nap still disoriented but certain he is not down a rabbit hole and asks Gwen what happened. She fills him in telling him how he landed in Heaven, how Joshua flew him into the Forest, which is how she saw him arrive. She conjures up some snacks, which Bart eyes with curiosity. Bart asks about the forest; she describes it and shares about her interest in the Forest. He asks her to stay for the night, there are two bedrooms, and she agrees because she wants to make certain he is better.

Chapter Nine

Joshua flies Bart into the forest and Bart asks to land on a spot next to Rainbow Reservoir. He likes what he sees and asks if he can live here. Joshua assures him the property is his and leaves him to settle in. Bart is still very disoriented and unsteady thinking he has fallen down a rabbit hole. Gwendolyn lands near him and catches him just as he is about to faint. She helps him into the house and suggests he lie down while she goes into the kitchen to look for come coffee.

Chapter Eight

Enter Bart, one of the main characters in the book. He arrives in Heaven after blowing up his laboratory on earth. He is very disoriented. He cannot believe he is dead and questions St. Peter. I love Bartholomew Q. Bottomsworth, II RGW. He is such a great character and a Really Great Wizard. I will let you judge for yourself.

Chapter Seven

Willa made a delicious breakfast, and the witches straighten the Tea Room back to the way they found it when they arrived. Using their wands, they quickly had the Tea Room pristine and were ready to follow Gwendolyn to Putrid Pond. When they arrived, they were enchanted with their new home. Gwen leaves them to get settled in promising to see them the next day.

Chapter Six

The Witches land at The Brewed Awakening Tea Room which sits right on the edge of Heaven. Deciding they are exhausted, the settle in to spend the night. They are visited by Gwendolyn Gwittmore, our main character as she welcomes them to the Forest, and they welcome her with dinner and Stanley’s TOD. She also tells the witches of a property they might be interested in.

Chapter Five

New entrants arrive at the pearly gate dressed in long black dresses, pointy black boots and black pointy hats. Wendy Wigglethorn, Willa Windover and Waldo Waldenburg, our three witches from Macbeth. FYI, these characters appear in the entire series and even have a book of their own (if I ever finish writing it). Stay tuned….
