Chelsie Valerio and Ryan Chow are both recipient winners. Chelsie’s essay won her $1000 for the Outstanding Filipino Youth Award and Ryan Chow won $500 from the AAIC Growing Up Asian in America for his video which will be broadcast on NBC this summer.

Sophia Sison a 6th grader who shares how her love of reading has helped her during this pandemic as well as her tween years.
