After Luton Town lost to Wolves on Saturday afternoon, Nottingham Forest headed into Sundays match against Premier League champions Manchester City knowing any points gained would be massive in the survival race. However with goals from Gvardiol and Haaland, Man City kept their title dreams on course and Forest again kicked the can down the road into the final 3 games of the season.

With zero points to show for their effort the players should take some confidence out of Sunday's performance, as Forest create more chances against a City team than a majority of other teams have all season, and if Chris Wood had his shooting boots on the game could have gone differently. But with potentials injuries to key players Neco Williams and Murillo, could this game have cost us more in the long term, with a key match next weekend against already relegated Sheffield.
