The journey of practicing good hygiene and grooming doesn't always come natural. Children look to their parents for guidance and sometimes wait for them to address it. I've learned as a child, many may lack resources due to financial means. As a result, it can lead to becoming a victim of bullying. I know how it feels to not have much as my mom raised us by herself after my father passed. This not only affected my hygiene, but also my appearance. I didn't have the latest or greatest, but I had the bare.  It was in that, I wanted to do my best with making sure my children kept themselves together and hygiene was on point. In this episode, I'm going to share with you some biblical and practical strategies to help not only your child, but you. Remember, children are sponges and they will consume your trained behaviors more so than your words spoken.

Kinda Johnson is a high school teacher. She was born on the twin island of Trinidad and Tobago, but I live in Canada. Kinda, came here at 11 years old, so she spent more time in Canada than my country of birth. She believes education is more than just theory; true education was designed by God and was made for us to see Him in all and everything that we do. As parents we are and always will be our children's teachers and that is how she approach to parenting. As mothers, we were created to be nurturers and teachers to our children. However, that can be a weakness for our children. I know for certain if kids can, they will play both parents against themselves to get what they want. Then you may have some like my daughter who persistently ask for something to get what it is they desire. Wherever your child may fit into this equation, it's our duty not to enable their behaviors or actions which aren't good. In this episode, I will share with you what the word of God says and practical strategies to enforce it so our children can grow up and accept responsibility.
