Come experience Petanque, a fun and challenging French origins game where the goal is, while standing with the feet together in a small circle, to throw metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet (jack). Easy to learn and open to all ages.
The Dallas Petanque Club welcomes newcomers to join them on Sundays, 2pm at Gussie Field Park, 2600 Valley View Ln, Farmers Branch, next to the Rose Garden. Visitor boules and a free introductory lesson for beginners.
