Live Lockdown Podcast

A mix streamed live for the charity event by Lockdown DJ's for the charities below.

Was warming up for Signum so played a classic trance set, the likes of which I used to play late 90s at clubs such as Glam.

Containing tracks from Agnelli & Nelson, Binary Finary, Solarstone, Cafe Del Mar, Y-Traxx, Ayla, Space Brothers, Alexa, BT, Lustral, Three 'n One Presents Johnny Shaker and many more.

FUNDRAISING FOR JILL.

Jill is a wife and mother who was given the devastating news that she only has 18 months to live. They are looking to raise as much money as possible for immunotherapy either in the UK and abroad.

Our other charity is the NHS. This is a natural choice considering the current strain that they are under whilst the country battles this pandemic..

Another live stream in my weekly series but this time a charity fundraiser in aid of A-Fest2020 in memory of baby Anthony 💙

Tony & Kerry have been raising funds to donate Cold Cots for stillborn babies to Dundee's Ninewells Hospital Tulip Suite within the Labour Ward.

The target is 5k and the fundraiser is currently sitting at £4,426, hopefully we can smash this target and more so please donate what you can!

I'll set this up as a Select subscription only mix with all proceeds going to the ward.

Sorry for the delay but had some issues with audio.

My stint involved nearly 3 hours of old skool, club classics and 80s remixes as always.

Also features some banter between me and the missus, which gets more random as the drink kicks in :)

After a week's break to recharge the batteries, it's the return of the Dare! Live Lockdown Mix, a series of weekly mixes featuring a mix of old skool, club classics, 80s remixes and vocal house to entertain during these strange times.

Now banned from Facebook, so simultaneously broadcast across Twitter, Twitch.tv and Youtube only

Some of the tracks are on vinyl, hence the realistic cracks and pops.

Two and a half hours of some of my favourite dance and pop remixes. Getting harder not to play repeats but I'm trying :)

Appreciate all your support in these difficult times.

Roll on getting back to playing out again in clubs.

(Disclaimer, I may be drunk a little earlier in the mix than usual, apologies)

Back once again for my Dare! Live Lockdown Mix, featuring a mix of old skool, club classics, 80s remixes and vocal house to try and keep everyone sane, including myself during these strange times.

Now banned from Facebook, so simultaneously broadcast across Twitter, Twitch.tv and Youtube only.

Despite a pact with Claire to go easy on the bevvy, and a two hour time slot, I somehow managed to kick the arse out of it and play for 3 hours and 45 minutes.

As a result, there may be some incoherent ranting by the end of the mix, ;)

The missus even got her segment this week, Claire's Breakdown Tracks, so named after her numerous disaster during the stream including pulling the lead out the laptop, the webcam and spilling multiple drinks on or near the equipment.

In time honoured fashion the stream cut out for a minute during her slot and I had to join it together..

All plays, favourites, shares, comments and reposts appreciated.

Another weekend, another Dare! Live Lockdown Podcast.

Was a weekend of streams and I was beginning to get a bit tired and emotional after a full day on the non-alcoholic beer :)

Featuring Claire, Gary and Fraser as my glamorous assistants.

Three hours of old skool, house, 80s remixes and some horrendous banter.

Contains some strong language. ;)

Enjoy.

A Sunday recovery session, playing alongside my good friends the Groovekode boys, a very talented DJ/Producer duo and warming up for No' Messin.

A laid back chilled vibe for your pleasure.

After 'playing away' last week it's time for a home fixture and the return of my Dare! Lockdown Live streams.

However, as restrictions ease, it may be the beginning of the end for these streams, although I can do one a month if the interest is still there?

Let me know if you think I should continue these in the comments on here.

Playing the usual assortment of current housers, old skool classics, vocal house and 80s remixes, all my favourite guilty pleasures.

Caution: May contain bad language and the odd rant ;) x

Back from my self-enforced hiatus (Claire made me do it 🙁 ) and buzzing to get back in aboot it tonight.

For tonight, I'm fed up fighting against the dark wizards of social media and filling out hunnerds of copyright disputes forms so I'm just flying solo on Mixcloud tonight, no Twitch, YouTube or Twitter.

You don't need an account to tune in on Mixcloud but you will if you want to chat, but let's face it, if you've been listening weekly you better have a Mixcloud account to have been hyping my sets on there or I'll be hunting ya down. 😉

Live from 9pm, don't know what direction we're going in but what I can say is there will be classics, hidden gems, 80s delights and the odd rarity, interspersed by some banter and me and the missus arguing as she looks glamorous and wrecks the studio while getting drunker.

Had a CDJ go down during the stream which forced me to play vinyl, never a bad thing but be aware the quality not always so good on some of these tracks.
