Solomon says, do not be surprised when you see oppression, injustice, and people in power milking the land—because all of it comes from greed and the love of money.

Those who love money will never have enough or be satisfied.

The more you have, the more people help you spend it, and the harder it is to sleep. Hoarding riches only harms you, and in the end, you can’t take any of it with you. Some people gain everything they want but never get to enjoy it.

Solomon tells us to practice being thankful for what you have instead of dreaming about what you don’t, and to practice being present where you are and who you’re with.

Too often, we come to God with selfish motives—using worship, words, and promises to get what they want rather than to honor Him.

True worship means remembering who God is: He’s in heaven, we’re on earth. Our words should be few, our hearts sincere, and our promises genuine.

Solomon warns us to approach God with honesty, reverence and humility, not carelessness or manipulation; ready to listen to what He says. 

This week we explored Ecclesiastes 4, where we learned that Solomon saw the brokenness of our world including oppression, envy, isolation, and pride.

But Jesus calls us to a better way!

Ecclesiastes 3:1–15

Life moves in seasons—every moment has its place. 🌱🌾

There’s a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to cry and a time to laugh,

a time to keep and a time to let go…

We don’t always understand how it all fits together, but God does. 🙌

He’s placed eternity in our hearts, reminding us that life is more than what we see.

So today—Be Present & Enjoy the Simple Gifts of life– a meal, meaningful work, moments with people you love.

Trust God’s Timing in whatever Season you are in Today!

Wisdom is a light to our feet: The wise can see where they are going. But human wisdom is limited: It can’t fix our innate brokenness or solve our need for a Savior. 

Realizing that human wisdom has limit allows us to recognize the need to fear the Lord. A glimpse of His character brings a healthy sense of awe and reverence. 

Don’t look for life, peace and purpose in the World, but in God.

“Everything is meaningless,” says the Teacher, “completely meaningless! What do people get for all their hard work under the sun?” (Eccl. 1:2–3)

Solomon isn’t saying life has no purpose—he’s grabbing our attention. The word “meaningless” really means "vapor" -life is short, fragile, and temporary, or vanity—meaningless or empty.

 Life is temporary.

Life is meaningless without God.

Life becomes full of purpose and joy when we fear God, follow Him, and enjoy the Life He gives.

The story of salvation has 3 stages: 1️⃣Justification – You are Saved the Moment you Believe. 2️⃣Sanctification – You are Being Saved as you Grow in Christ. 3️⃣Glorification – One Day, you Will Be Saved Completely.Glorification means: ✅ No more sin. ✅ A new, glorious body. ✅ Perfect love in God’s presence forever.No Matter How Bad Things Get In This Life – You Can Hold Onto To This Eternal Hope:“Our present troubles are small and won’t last very long… they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them.” (2 Cor. 4:17)Can you imagine living in a world with no pain, no sin, only perfect peace in Christ?

Salvation isn't just a moment-it's a journey.1 Justification - You ARE saved.2 Sanctification - You're BEING saved.3 Glorification - One day you WILL be saved.Sanctification is the slow, lifelong process of becoming more like Jesus.2 Corinthians 3:18 says it this way: "And we all... beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another." Remember that life is messy, so don't let struggles or setbacks cause you to doubt God's work in your life!

Is salvation an event or a process?

It’s Both an event and process! 

The Story of Salvation has 3 Stages—

Justification is the moment of salvation when you are forgiven & made right w/ God.

Sanctification is the life long process of growing in your salvation.

Glorification is the final moment of your life when your salvation is complete.

In this short message series we are exploring a simple framework to help you make sense of your story of salvation.
