Live On Tape Delay episodes

  • Episode 285 - One Man's Junk

Chris, Rob and John give their thoughts on football after week 1, give a little background on the Hashtag United soccer team, wonder what the transition into the regular season for fall sports looks like considering their playoffs are still going on, speculate on the mentality of a collector, and justify the monetary price of creativity.

Also, Mors Principium Est members have some informative behind the scenes videos as well as make "Rob's {BLANK} of the Week", which in this installment is a banger.

AND (as if that wasn't enough) - Apples to apples - phones and mobile plans, as well as their thoughts on the recent PS5 release news.

    Enjoy!!!

  • Episode 284 - People Do Not Behave

Chris, Rob and John get some general video game chit chat out of the way before discussing this year's potentially odd NFL season, their Fantasy Football strategies (or lack thereof), a follow up of last episode's "Whatcha' Watchin'", revisiting old Ozzy through a different lens and being inundated with redundant stories on the internet.

    Enjoy!

  • Episode 283 - Right In The Wheelhouse

Chris explains the history behind an 18 year old shirt, Rob watches 2 movies, and John defends the "Fast and the Furious" franchise even though he's wrong (Chris paid me extra to say that, sorry).

Also, an amusement park where you can die, HBOMax steps up it's game, Rob's Album of This Week, and the new video game craze, "Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout"

    Enjoy!!

  • Episode 282 - Trust Us At Your Own Risk

While Chris, Rob and John may have some of the details wrong, the following are mostly correct:  Rob becomes an NBA Fan, the pros and cons of the speed of information, medieval obituaries, a Houston-eyed view of Hurricane Laura just prior to landfall, the History Channel's "The Food That Built America", Seth Rogen's "American Pickle", Jim Belushi's new series on the Discovery Channel, the passing of Power Trip's Riley Gale, Fates Warning's new single and a website to obtain rare and limited beer.

AND they fit all of this into an hour!

    Enjoy!

  • Episode 281 - The 60's: A List, Pt 2

In this short but sweet continuation of last week's episode, Chris, Rob, John and Jack rank the Top 15 60's songs as established in the previous installment.  Listen to the wheels turn, the smoke churn and the brain cells burn as they each, in turn, attempt to discern, so that you may learn, what is number one.

  • Episode 280 - The 60's: A List, Pt 1

Chris, Rob, John and Jack (with the help of "Greg's List"), take you through 30 of their favorite songs from the 1960's and attempt to pare them down to the top 15 to be ranked next week.

A special thanks again to Jack and Greg for helping us out with this!

    Enjoy!

  • Episode 279 - What Are We Doing?

After Chris, Rob and John show their age by discussing their allergies and complaining about health insurance, they discuss the recent trend of credit card companies suddenly cancelling accounts, some good that came out of the bad that was Metallica's "St. Anger", loudersound.com's Groove Metal list that somewhat validates their own (see episode 120 for details), a quick taste of next week's episode and some overrated IPAs.

    Enjoy!!

  • Episode 278 - Irrational Fear Hour

Chris declares war on his Keurig, Rob hits digital puberty and John lets us know what sports are out there that you can actually watch.

But first let us ask:  are you a coffee or a tea person?; MLB is in full swing, but can you watch it?; why are there mascots in empty stadiums? (we don't really care, we just love that they are); what are you afraid of, even though you know better?; have you seen these shows?

    Let us know.

    Enjoy!!!

  • Episode 277 - Is That This TImeline?

With Chris returning to the back room and Rob and John working on new setups, it's amazing they get anything done.  However, they manage to discuss ALL of the following:

Chris's recent transport mission, John's very own ancient Lime-A-Rita, NFL off season moves, some random theories they have, with absolutely no research or proof to back them up, Adam Savage's "Tested" (that's the name of the show, Chris is stupid), One week later: NBC's Peacock follow up, Sony's new personal air conditioner, MLB in Buffalo?......or not (but ultimately, yes), and the upcoming proposed NHL schedule.

    Holy cow........

    Enjoy!!!

  • Episode 276 - Blame Rita

Chris, Rob and Jim are in the garage for one last (for a while) hurrah before Jim moves to Mexico, leaving John as the only remote this week, calling in from Southeast Covidia.  None of that, however, stops them from discussing things they'd like to see happen with online concerts, check to see if they've been pwned, almost fall for a Twitter scam, dabble with NBC's new streaming service "Peacock", give you some travelogue shows to check out, discuss Ted Templeman and The Wrecking Crew AND create a new segment; Rob's Album of the Week.  Whew!

Oh yeah, and they finally drink the long teased, near decade old Lime-A-Ritas (research shows they are from 2012 regardless of what they say).

    Enjoy!!!
