Live the Loop with Joseph Sissac

**Episode Title: Walking in Step with the Holy Spirit – Day 42 of 90**

As we continue our 90-day journey with the Holy Spirit, today’s focus is on *Luke 2*—a powerful reminder that the Spirit of God is always guiding us, even when we don’t fully understand His plan.

Joseph and Mary followed the leading of the Holy Spirit at every step of their journey, and when the time came to present baby Jesus at the temple, the Spirit orchestrated a divine encounter. Simeon, a righteous man, was led by the Holy Spirit to intercept Jesus. It had been revealed to him that he would see the Savior before his death, and in that moment, he gave God praise for the fulfillment of His promise.

This passage encourages us that the Holy Spirit is always working behind the scenes, aligning our paths with those connected to our calling. He is our Comforter and Guide, ensuring that we fulfill God’s purpose in His perfect timing.

**Key Verse:** *Luke 2:25-32*
**Reflection Question:** Where might the Holy Spirit be leading you, even if you don’t yet see the full picture?

Let’s keep walking by faith, trusting that the Spirit is working in ways beyond what we can see.

Join us for Day 39 of our 90-day series, Walking with the Holy Spirit, as we explore how God’s forethought and power bring reassurance to us today. If the Holy Spirit was present in Mary and Elizabeth’s journey, He will be present in ours as well.

In Luke 1, the angel Gabriel delivers an astonishing message to Mary—not only is she chosen to bear the Son of God, but her relative Elizabeth, once barren and well beyond childbearing years, has miraculously conceived a son. This event wasn’t random; God preplanned this miracle six months in advance, knowing that Mary would need faith, encouragement, and confirmation of His power at work.

Through Elizabeth’s miraculous pregnancy, Mary witnessed firsthand the faithfulness of God and the power of the Holy Spirit to bring forth life where it once seemed impossible. If God orchestrated this moment to strengthen Mary’s faith, we can trust that He is also working ahead of time in our own lives—preparing, planning, and making a way through His Spirit.

Day 38 – Walking with the Holy Spirit: The Divine Miracle of Jesus’ Conception (Luke 1:26-38)*

Welcome to Day 38 of our 90-day journey on *Walking with the Holy Spirit*! Today, we focus on one of the most profound moments in Scripture—Mary’s encounter with the angel Gabriel. He delivers the life-changing message: though a virgin, she will conceive and give birth to Jesus, the Son of God and the Savior of the world!

This miracle was made possible **only** by the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:35 tells us that the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary, proving His divine nature as God, the third person of the Trinity. He is not an “it” or merely a force—He is fully God, actively moving in the world and in our lives today.

This revelation should deepen our confidence and reverence for the **person** of the Holy Spirit. Just as He made the impossible happen for Mary, He is at work in **your** life, making a way for God’s purposes to be fulfilled.

📖 **Key Scripture:** Luke 1:26-38
🙏 **Encouragement:** The Holy Spirit is God! He is moving in your life with divine power and purpose. Trust Him!

Day 37 – Walking with the Holy Spirit: Trusting God’s Word (Luke 1:18-20)*

Welcome to Day 37 of our 90-day journey on *Walking with the Holy Spirit*! Today, we continue in Luke 1, focusing on Zechariah’s response to the angel’s message. When Gabriel told Zechariah that he and his barren wife, Elizabeth, would have a son, Zechariah doubted. His disbelief led to his silence—unable to speak until John the Baptist was born.

This passage reminds us that the Word of God is sent by God Himself. The Holy Spirit confirms His promises, and we are called not to doubt but to trust and obey. How often do we allow our own doubts to silence our faith? Perhaps, like Zechariah, we need to quiet the negative voices that discourage us from believing in God's power.

The Holy Spirit is still moving today, and His plans for you are greater than you can imagine. Will you trust in His Word?

📖 **Key Scripture:** Luke 1:18-20
🙏 **Encouragement:** Silence the doubt, trust in the Holy Spirit, and step into God’s promises.
