Gennette Huber is an ANMA board-certified naturopathic doctor with a specialized interest in autism, autoimmune, and degenerative illness. Her introduction to holistic health came following her own struggles with multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and Hashimoto\'s thyroiditis beginning in 2008 and her son\'s autism diagnosis in 2010. Naturopathy and reiki led them both to true healing and recovery, which in turn revealed her purpose in life to work as an educator to others in natural health and wellness. For holistic health consultations, she sees clients both in her Chesapeake, Virginia office as well as working remotely with people from around the world.
Quote: This above all; to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. ~William Shakespeare
Her reiki courses have also grown on an international level, where she specializes in teaching the energy work to parents and caregivers of those with autism as well as anyone looking to enhance their own spiritual growth.

It\'s being authentic, it\'s speaking the truth, why deviate from that? That\'s really something else that has come into my life, it is just to speak the truth. That\'s what I do every single day in this profession. I feel that is a huge portion of my health too, is the ability to speak the truth. Plus, put it out there and put my vulnerability out there. I think vulnerability is sexy.

Al Part 1: I would like to leave behind that men need to get involved in this issue. Men have too long left it to women, they\'ve said that diversity is a women\'s issue. Inclusion is a women\'s issue, it\'s not, it\'s everybody\'s issue. One thing that I\'m trying to leave behind is the notion that men need to be more involved.
Andie Part 2: I would suggest that for women and men, perfection is overrated. If we strive for just perfection, we are never going to get to see or experience half of the world that is out there. We will be holding ourselves back. Perfection is overrated. Having a sense of humor can help us go a very long way in dealing with the stereotypes and the biases that we confront. This goes for whether we\'re a man or a woman. Whether they\'re in the workplace or in society.

I think it\'s just knowing what type of calendar relationship you have with your calendar. Are you a person that can schedule in advance and that then holds you accountable? Plus does it actually allow these things to happen? Or are you more spontaneous individual? No matter if you are trying to schedule things out, or if you are that more spontaneous side, look for those opportunities. Whether it\'s an annual event that happens each year, or whether it\'s an ebb and flow of your career cycle, or maybe it\'s mine used to be which was this like one specific time of being on vacation that it was always that mental check in with myself but either way having that check in to just celebrate give yourself the credit for what you have accomplished in that year, or two years, three years, whatever it might be, because America and our culture we\'re always going to have that push forward. And so purchasing ourselves to take a look in the rearview mirror sometimes see what we\'ve done and then readjust the focus forward.

If I have any parting messages for anyone to carry on from this theme of what we\'ve been talking about is that every single thing that happens to you on the daily, within the minute, within the seconds, it\'s unfolding the way that it is supposed to unfold. There\'s no other way that you can look at it no matter what way you try and spin it. It is supposed to be the way that it is supposed to be. When you can become aware of that and actually sit with that and reflect on that, you\'re going to move forward faster than you\'ve ever moved forward before. It\'s just hands down because there\'s no other way to look at it.

I know the big thing that I want for the people who I get the privilege of being in their world, is, I want you to know that whatever it is you\'re struggling with, for me, it was both my health, it was competence, it was thinking that no man would ever want to marry me if he knew I was so broken, right? So broken.
Anything that it is that you want to create for you, for your body, for your life, for your health, it is absolutely possible! However, you have got to have that dog eat determination and faith that you can heal, that you can move through this. A big part of that is going to be you\'re above all of it, it\'s going to be your belief that you can succeed at it. So just like he and I were talking about in entrepreneurship, you have to have that dogged determination you have to keep that focus in the faith and let go of the how we get so stuck on the how. You don\'t need to know that how you just need to know that come hell or high water, you are doing this damn it! When you keep that front and center, whatever you\'re struggling with in your relationships in your life and your money in your heart and your health, all of that can be overcome and I am living proof of that.

As far as Diet goes, because my editor asked me, you got to have a diet I said. If it tastes good, don\'t eat it. Unless you read the label, I guarantee it has sugar in it. So that is all you have to do, you don\'t have to count calories, you can eat all the calories you want. Eat steak, eat as much steak as you want, because you\'re going to be satiated and satisfied so quickly. You\'re really not gonna be hungry anyway. So it\'s a misnomer, eat a lot of sugar, you will be hungry and never satisfied. That\'s number one.
It\'s all about stem cells now, and my new book will be a lot about stem cells. Stem cells do not give a rat\'s ass what you call your itis because they don\'t speak English. Did you know that stem cells don\'t speak English, French, German, or any other language other than the immune system language? That\'s my message. Unlike drugs, if you do stem cells, it\'ll get rid of any disease if it\'s inflammatory. That\'s my message, living a natural lifestyle, using natural products, which stem cells are, and whether it\'s allergenic or your own, life will be good. So have a nice steak and some green vegetables and you\'ll live forever,

I would say that if there\'s if you take anything away from the show at all, I would say take away that failure is not a finale. It\'s a fulcrum. Failure, it is a place from which we learn, we grow, and we thrive. I was giving this talk about two months ago, in Austin at Renaissance weekend and there was an astronaut in the audience. This astronaut had done three different spacewalks and at one point I said, except for you sir, because failure for you would most definitely be the finale ou there. Now for the rest of us walking around on terra firma, unless you are attached to an oxygen tether, failure is the fulcrum. Failure is the place from which we grow, we learn and we discover more things about ourselves. We realize that success might not have looked like what we expected success to look like when we first took the first step. It doesn\'t mean that it\'s not a success. So I would urge people to understand that failure is not a finale, it\'s just fulcrum.

I have been honored to be given the opportunity to work with many clients on their mind, body, and spirit. Helping other\'s live happier more fulfilled lives.

I am always learning and growing. I love the saying if knowledge was all it took everyone would have 6 packs and be Millionaires. It\'s it\'s all about perspective to me. I wrap myself around all the right people, I was just at John Dilgen\'s this past weekend I put a custom cap door in our buddy John Dilgens home. John is a young man in more pain than I could ever possibly understand. So to sit here and bitch about the fact that my knee hurts and I gotta walk a little bit weird, it just doesn\'t seem right to me.
So I just try to keep my head in the right place and like you said before, just keep doing what I do. Just tweak it in the way that is necessary. I like to keep a good perspective on what you got. I think I had something similar before that so many people are so upset about some of the most trivial bullshit in their life and sit around just making it miserable for their spouses for their kids. They don\'t even have a grasp on what they truly have.
I try to live by knowing what I got. I\'m an extremely happy man and share that gratitude all the time. I try to give back to as many people as I can because it\'s just the way I think it should be. So keep a perspective out there, keep your head up and when shit happens, know you can get around it.
