Jane & Julie start a miniseries on the Seven Deadly Sins in honor of the Lenten season. First up: pride! The ladies discuss what they were taught about pride as children, "sinful" pride vs. healthy pride, the difference between pride and narcissism, fighting narcissism with empathy, and the things they are most proud of. 

Jane & Julie discuss all things Valentine's Day: love languages, lingerie, Valentine gifts, and helpful vs. unhelpful ways of seeking love. PLUS Jane gives us the lowdown on St. Valentine. 

Jane & Julie discuss the importance of journaling and read from some of their old diaries! Other random (but loosely related) topics of discussion include: a bachelorette party from hell; why meth isn't a "party drug;" a nightmare about giving confession; the ineffectiveness of parental Internet controls; childhood beliefs about what makes an "ideal husband;" middle school and high school crushes; and dealing with snooping parents. 

Jane and Julie define and discuss spiritual trauma and share their own personal experiences with it. Topics of discussion include environmental and systemic factors that breed spiritual trauma as well as ways to deal with such trauma within a religious context. 

Jane & Julie discuss New Year's resolutions and ways to set realistic and achievable goals. They also discuss toxic goal-setting such as "humble-bragging" on social media as well as dangerous diet culture. PLUS the Ladies give you some incredible life tips (Don't eat icicles!!)
