Anyone who wants to know God—to walk closely with Him—must obey Him. Sounds like a strong statement, doesn’t it? But there is no way that we can come into a close relationship with the Lord and walk fully in the blessing and enjoy the communion that our spirits desire without obeying Him.

Salvation comes by Grace; Blessings comes through Obedience.

• It is possible to be a child of God by Grace but lose God's Blessing by disobedience.

• God operates according to His Word. He loved Israel, but they went into captivity and suffered great tragedy because they refused to obey His Word and went their own way.

The problem with the American Church is we feel entitled to God's blessing because of God's love, and we think Worship moves God to bless us. It does not!

Blessing comes thru obedience. We can have great worship, but if we do not obey the Word, Blessing will not remain upon us.

If you want God's BLESSING, Obey God's Word.

As we continue the study of angels, we will see the importance of their presence and activity in the believer’s life. Every child of God needs to be aware that angels exist and are part of our everyday life. These angels minister to us and for us every day.

There is a lot of emphasis placed on the devil and his demons that work with him.

There is more talk and emphasis on Satan and his power and the destruction that he causes in this world and the lives of individuals which includes born-again believers.

I am not diminishing the fact of the reality of Satan and his demons. We can see the results of his influence in this world and people’s lives.

But we as believers in the Cross and the Jesus Christ should begin to magnify the victory that He wrought for us and every person that receives His gift of eternal life and victory over the devil.

I want to emphasize the fact of Satan’s defeat at the cross and the victory that Jesus gave us that day through His death, burial, and resurrection.

Angels are created beings. Angels were created for a divine purpose (1) To do service for God (2) to worship God (3) to do service for God by ministering to His saints.

How many times in your life are you brought to a place of tears? What do you do and what can you do when you are there?

You can choose to use it as a time for growth in the Lord.

The church is a place of great beauty and is well beloved. The devil hates it and the Christian loves it. Ps. 84:1

The church is a place of desire and worship. Ps. 84:2

The church t is a place of nesting and sacrifice. A wonderful place to raise your children and to give to the Lord His due! Ps. 84:3

The church is a place of continuance and glory. Those who are faithful to God’s house continue to praise His wonderful name! Ps. 84:4

The church is a place of blessing and strength. It is in the house of the Lord that we find strength to endure in the hard times! Ps. 84:5

Angels have an important part to play in history. In fact, angels have an important part to play in our lives.

We should never disregard angels.

We should regard all that God has provided for us.

In the last lesson we saw that Angels were created by God.

Angels are not be worshipped.

They do not possess your body like the Holy Spirit indwells us.

Angels are limited in their power. They are not all powerful.

We are made a little lower than the angels in creation, but we are made higher than the angels through redemption.

Angels cannot be redeemed.

They were created by God for specific purposes.

Angels make up a mighty army of God to fulfill the orders that their Creator and Commander-in-Chief gives.

There¬fore there would be ranks among angelic beings.

This lesson will give you insight into the Angelic organization. Angels have affected nations, cities, and even families.

This does not do away with the Holy Spirit indwelling us and empowering us to be conquerors.

I want to show you how angels minister for us.

Angels are important to us. From Genesis to Revelation we shall see angels are part of our life.

But don’t get caught up in desiring angelic visitations. It doesn’t happen just because you want it, but God will send angels for a purpose and with instructions to help the believer.

Spirituality is not judged by seeing an angel nor does it not make one more spiritual. Just as you cannot judge spirituality by gifts of the spirit.

Spirituality is not gauged by visitations, nor by gifts of the Spirit.

But to which of the angels has He ever said: “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? Hebrews 1: 3-14

God has a purpose for every father. The Bible emphasizes that God's teachings were handed down from generation to generation through the family. God is telling His story of restoration and redemption through family relationships. Fathers are called to love and serve their families, to pass on their faith to their children and bring them up in the way of the Lord. It is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly.

Today this generation is a fatherless generation.

• Children are raised in fatherless homes.

• Many fathers feel the need or the necessity to make ends meet by working hard on several jobs. No time at home to be a father.

• Others simply abandon their family, and the mother left to fend for all the children and herself.

Oft times they go from relationship to relationship trying to fill the void of a fatherless home.

The solution to the life of loneliness and anxiety of not knowing a natural loving father is finding out who the heavenly Father really is and His love to all of us.

• Christianity is not a religion; it is a family, a Father and His children.

• It differs from all the religions in the world in this respect.

Will you give your all to Jesus even when it costs you something? As funny as it sounds, if you have nothing to lose, you might say yes. But what if you have something to lose? The rich young ruler found out that he was unable to give up what he had to follow Jesus.

The perils of having anything that makes us comfortable is that human nature makes us reluctant to give up things that make us comfortable. Our money, our property or reputation. Not that God is against us having anything in this life. We are called to be good stewards and if we work the principles of God, we can have wealth and property and position.

But as in the case of the rich young ruler, he thought his goodness and his riches were a testimony and a door to eternal life. He was looking to have eternal life bestowed upon him because he was a good man, but being a good person does not translate into an eternity in heaven.

Have you experienced times in your life where you can’t feel God’s presence?

When the worst happens in our lives, while we do our best to cling to our faith, it’s easy to question God.

Where is He when a loved one dies far too young? Where is God in divorce, disease, and death? Where is He when war rages?

These are age-old questions humans have struggled with for centuries, and questions we can easily ask today. It seems as if the world is on the brink of disaster, so we are left searching for God through all of it.

“Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills.” - Habakkuk 3:17-19

The favor of God is a good thing to have, but the biblical definition of God's favor is quite different from the definition used in the prosperity gospel.

There are definitely verses that talk about God's favor, including: For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield. Ps. 5:12

A. Finding favor means gaining approval, acceptance, or special benefits or blessings.

1. There is also a close association among favor, grace, and mercy, which are sometimes used to translate the same Hebrew and Greek words (such as hen [ej] and Charis’. Favor of God.

2. The favor that human beings receive from God depends on His good pleasure and is often extended in response to prayer or righteous living.

3. Those whose walk is blameless, such as Noah or Moses

There are three things that reveal that the presence of God is in your life.

1.The peace of God. (keeps your heart from fear)

2. The joy of the Lord (this your strength)

3. The anointing (power of God that breaks the yokes of bondage)

Let us rise and shine and be alight in this dark generation.
