Moses had led the Children of Israel to the brink of entering into the Promised Land.

Moses was to die on Mount Nebo. His disobedience with anger kept him from entering. But God allowed him to see it with his eyes.

Immediately after Moses had blessed Joshua to take the reins of leadership, he dispatched two spies to go into the land and spy it out. Rahab hid the men from danger and then requested that when Israel attacked that she would live. She had told the spies that they had heard of all the great miracles that God had done for them and their hearts had melted with fear.

• Every believer is destined to have all that God has provided through the Covenant that He established.

• Everybody has a Jordan to cross, it is something that stands between you and the inheritance God has promised you. The Children of Israel made it across and so can we.

As I studied the scriptures concerning this time in the Children of Israel's lives, I realized the parallel between them and every believer today who is following God and entering into this new level of victory that God has prepared for us. Then I began to see the pattern and instructions that the Lord intended to be followed. What does it take to cross over the Jordan River?

HE BROUGHT US OUT TO BRING US IN

• God has one purpose in His mind.

• God wants us to enter into the realm of the Kingdom of God and enjoy the benefits of the Kingdom.

• God brought us out of darkness into light.

• God brought us out of bondage into liberty.

• God brought us out of lack into abundance.

• God brought us out of sickness into divine health.

• God brought us out of death into life.

"Then He brought us out from there, that He might bring us in, to give us the land of which He swore to our fathers. " Deuteronomy 6:23

From Abraham until now God has a land and His people are a WITNESS in this land.

This people is a Covenant People

"For this is the covenant that I will make with the House of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put my laws into their mind and write them upon their hearts; and I will be to them a God and they shall be my people." Hebrews 8:10

The past is over with. You cannot bring it to yourself. It's over with. Someone so stately quoted: "Yesterday is in the tomb, Tomorrow is in the womb, Today is the beginning of the new."

You cannot unscramble eggs.

There is no do over for what's past.

THE REARVIEW MIRROR PERSON

They miss what is happening today because they are always looking back to yesterday. Decisions for this kind of person are based on what they grew up with in the past and what they feel comfortable with.

"By the rivers of Babylon we sat and wept when we remembered Zion" (old days)”. Psalm 137:1

God is saying, Let's go forward and allow God to fulfill His divine plan.

God gives us gifts all the time, starting with the gift of life. Now it’s up to each of us to receive the gifts and learn how to use them. If there gifts are outside of the door of your house, in order to make use of them, you must open the door and go and get them. It is the same with all the gifts that God has given us. We can choose to keep them out of our life by refusing to use them.

Faith in God is not passive but rather has an aggressive edge to it that stands up and fights for the cause of Christ. This 'fighting faith' keeps us from falling, failing and backsliding. Fighting faith reaches out to those needing faith and wins them to Christ.

Angels Involvement In The Covenant

A. The angels are involved in the protection of those who are in covenant with God.

"Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation."Heb.1:14

1. Angels - servants to assist

2. Ministering spirits - to do service

3. Angels are sent to perform whatever is necessary to establish God's promise in the earth

B. Law was ordained by angels.

" Wherefore then serves the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator." Galatians 3:19

God did not leave anything out of His Redemptive Plan. This includes any instance of pain, suffering, or persecution in the life of the believer.

This was demonstrated for us in the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We know Christ's sufferings were the price of our redemption. We know that "he was wounded for our transgressions…bruised for our iniquities…and with his stripes we are healed" Isaiah 53:5.

Now this message reveals the powerful healing purpose behind The Crown of Thorns.

Some believers have not had their mind renewed to the revelation knowledge of Christ's victory over Satan for His New Creation.

The speech reveals what is in our mind.

Words of darkness and clouds of darkness hovering over us indicate fear and emotional stress.

Words of fear, worry, and even doubt keep us from walking in victory.

It is not slang, cursing that defeat us; but words of defeat, Satan's power, etc. that cause us to walk in defeat.

The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, is invisible like God.

Revelation is the communication of truth from the Spirit to the soul.

Jesus knew the importance of the Holy Spirit in the disciple's life.

He instructed them to tarry in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit fell and saturated their souls.
