Living Faith Christian Church Sermons

God's heart for our children is for them to come to know Him. He is at work in various ways to draw them to Himself and calls parents, families and churches to join His work. We pray, teach and serve to help them see and know the LORD.

God is always working in the world, and certainly He is working at our jobs. Our co-workers may never attend a church, but God has placed His church right where we need to be - at work. May we have a gospel-saturated hearts of compassion for the people we spend our time with every day and be on the lookout for where God is at work, at work!

God wants a relationship, not a religion. What do we want? What part does church play in our lives and what part do we play in the church?

When Jesus returns, and eternal life begins, God is going to make all that is wrong with the world right. The end of death and sorrow and the beginning of justice and healing and peace. As exciting as the many parts of the Kingdom of God are, the best part is God will be with us.

Ever wonder if you're in the "will of God"? Ever think you're "off" because of how things seem to be going in your life? These negative circumstances may not necessarily mean you're off track. Instead what determines this is the word of God and His calling on your life. We can glean this important lesson from the life of Moses.

God is always working in the world and wants us to join Him in that work. He desires a relationship with each one of us and loves us very much! These transformative realities lead us to experience God Himself!

God invites us to join Him in His work, but in order for us to join Him, it requires that we make adjustments in our life. One can’t continue with business as usual or stay where you are and go with God at the same time.

God’s invitation for us to join Him in His work leads to a crisis of belief that requires faith and action. This "crisis" isn't a disaster or tragedy but a point of decision where we must decide whether we really believe God is who He says He is. It is in these moments that God works in great ways, showing us His power and love personally and to the watching world!

Every day God is speaking. He speaks to reveal Himself, His purposes and His ways. Via the Holy Spirit, God speaks through the Bible, prayer, circumstances and the church.

Do we make plans and hope God blesses them or do we realize God is already working and is inviting us to join HIM in his work? This truth changes the way we look at our lives and the world and leads to fruitfulness and purpose.
