God is determined not to give up on you and you don't have to be perfect for Him to love you! So why do you expect perfection from yourself and everyone else? Today, we discuss striving for "progress not perfection". Right now it may be all we can do to just "keep on keeping on" but knowing we can rely on God's persistent love keeps us stable and free from the bondage of perfectionism. It's almost the weekend so it's time to remind you that if you choose to stand alone in what's troubling you, you run the risk of being attacked and defeated. But with "supportive" relationships, scripture reminds you that...."a triple-braided cord is not easily broken." Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Your problems don't have to dominate your thoughts or monopolize your conversations. We've all got em and they are the one thing that gives us common ground with each other. We discuss how to put problems in true prospective so they'll loose power over you and stop others from going the other direction when they see you headed their way. Matthew 6:27

Most everyone is dealing with something or someone that is difficult. Others are not dealing with a painful past because it's just too much therefore we have unrealistic expectations of each other. So let's change our thinking. If someone doesn't meet our expectations let's make it a point to ask ourselves if it was our expectations that let us down instead of the person?
