What does it mean to take a leap of faith? And what (or who) waits for us on the other side?
I took a leap of faith 3 years ago when I chose to leave the 9-5 model. I now travel the world living a global, seasonal lifestyle within a decentralized community of incredible humans... sounds incredible right? It is, AND it hasn’t come without its challenges. I’ve had to move through my fears over and over again. Often when we imagine the idealized version of ourselves or our lives, we don’t see the difficult aspects of being emotional, physical beings.
Every lifestyle and every choice has pros and cons. But when we follow our inner guidance system, I find that the cons or “negative” aspects are aligned too. They often hold the medicine we need to fully step into that choice, and learn to love ourselves through all phases of the journey.
Taking the leap of faith is a bold choice – one that I have made often. I find the hardest “leaps” are the ones we feel we can’t come back from… like deprogramming our mindsets, doing plant medicine, or any other choice that we intuitively know will change us to our core. Maybe our loved ones won’t even recognize us anymore. Part of us dies during these choices, but a new version of us is born in the process. It can feel disorienting to step into a completely new version of ourselves, a new set of rules or thinking, or start living in a new reality.
Any other quantum jumpers out there? This one’s for you!

It can be scary to leave the current “template” of work. If we leave the “norm” or what is expected of us, will we be abandoned? Will we run out of resources? Fear can keep us stuck. The fear may even seem quite rational.
Since leaving my 9-5 and redesigning my lifestyle, I’ve had to face it all… I’ve had to deconstruct my belief system, and then reconstruct my inner operating system with new beliefs. I now live a lifestyle that looks like I designed it.
How did I do it? It started with getting myself into the most stillness and spaciousness I’ve ever experienced. I had to slow down so that I could begin to hear myself, and shine a light on what truly matters to me. It turns out that living a seasonal, global lifestyle that is anchored in nature’s cycles and rhythms, is how I want to operate. By honoring these cycles, my life has transformed.
Inside this episode, I’ll share a few tools that I use at the start of each “season” of life, to map out my intentions and core focuses for the journey ahead. The approach is integrative across life + work, rather than treating them as two separate worlds. What does it mean to live a life of full integrity? And how might it impact our ability to manifest?
How we lead our lives is a form of leadership. The choices we make and the lifestyles we build for ourselves are all a reflection of our inner operating system. We each have our own intricate belief systems, complete with core values and guiding principles. But how often do we slow down to reflect on those beliefs and make sure that we want to keep them?
This episode is all about getting under the hood of our own guiding principles and belief systems, so that we can understand what being in full alignment or integrity means for us.
When we live from integrity and inner alignment, manifestation gets "easier" because there is no dissonance between who we are and what we are wanting. As conscious leaders, it's a sacred responsibility to come into our power as manifestors, and usher in "the better world our hearts know is possible." We get to do this by priming our bodies and clearing the energetics of our relationships. This gives us clarity and the spaciousness required to make fully aligned decisions in our lives, as well as manifest our dreams.
When we lead from integrity, it impacts all of our relationships, including the one we have with ourselves. Throughout the episode, I'll share some of my favorite practices for maintaining inner alignment and integrity. These tools have vastly expanded my ability to manifest.

"Is Samhain the pagan new year?
Samhain was first observed by Celtic Pagans. Samhain marked the Celtic New Year, the end of summer, and the end of the harvest season. It also signaled the beginning of winter, which they associated with death. On this day, the Celts believed the veil between the living and the dead was especially thin."

This week I’m coming to you from Ireland! I’ve felt a pull to come here since I was a little girl, and through honoring my intuition, it’s finally happened. I’ve been connecting with the land and ancestors, on this magical quest to live this season of life from a place of deep intention.
We are a new version of ourselves each moment. We are also products of our context, and I’m now in a completely different environment. This seasonal way of living and working, and choosing to live from different places around the world during certain seasons of life, is something I’ve been building towards for many years.
I’ve started living a life of emergence, where I wake up each day to meet myself where I am, and check in with myself on what is most significant to me. For this lifestyle to feel safe and secure, I’ve learned that I need to create just enough structure, to allow the emergence of life and creativity to flow through me, without fear and with basic needs met. This structure doesn’t have to be created through traditional (or even monetary) means, which I’ll share more about inside the episode.
Welcome to a new chapter of my life.I’m following my calling to live and work in a place where I have deep, unexplored roots. I’m also doing the inner work to remain open and receptive to the magic that is all around me. If I am stuck in my ways or beliefs, I could easily miss it.
In this episode, we explore seasonal living and working in other countries, normalizing intuition, and honoring our true yes/no in each moment. I don’t know about you, but I know in my bones that I’m not designed to be the same everyday, or even year after year. I’m dynamic and ever-evolving, and even a bit nomadic! I’m finding that things fall into place, when I show up in full integrity and alignment with myself.
I’m so excited to have you here, at the start of my Ireland journey of self-healing and intentional living (working).

The conditions of modern work culture often cause us to turn to unhealthy coping mechanisms in an attempt to regulate our nervous systems. For many of us, we have become addicted to or reliant upon coping mechanisms like fueling ourselves with caffeine, drinking alcohol, and overeating.
When we bring our disregulated nervous systems into a collective field, we can disregulate the nervous systems of those around us. We never know who on our team struggles with addiction, or how unhealthy their coping mechanisms might be. This is why I believe leaders have a self-responsibility to process their emotions and healthily regulate their own nervous systems.
This requires the leader to heal any patterns that sit underneath their own coping mechanisms and additions. Many of us have been operating in a state of stress, anxiety, or depression and coping with that. If we exist in toxic work cultures, perhaps we ourselves turn to toxic behavior, or habits of putting toxins and drugs in our own bodies.
In this episode I share my struggle with alcohol abuse as a coping mechanism, and my journey to detoxifying my leadership practices.

Life has a way of inviting us into our highest potential... if we are open to listening to that call. I've found in my work with leaders that sometimes our biggest fear is something we wouldn't expect. We fear our own potential.
Along my journey, whenever my next big self-growth opportunity was standing in front of me, I had to face this fear. For many years I played small and hit behind tasks, so that I wouldn't have to be fully seen in my potential.
Why? I feared that once I stepped into that potential, I could never turn back. I was afraid I might have to leave people I love behind, and let go of any behaviors that weren't a match to the best version of myself. I was comfortable with those habits though, even if they didn't serve me. I clung to their familiarity through self-sabotaging, ensuring that I stayed at the level I was at.
Growth can be scary, especially when it involves putting ourselves out there in bigger ways. But at some point, it becomes more painful to STAY small, than taking the risk to move forward. It also does a disservice to the world and others to hold back the gifts that our world so desperately needs. I've come to see self-growth as a self-responsibility that I have to any company, team, or family that I may grow.
Tune into episode 7 to explore these themes with me. If you can relate and resonate with my journey, please be sure to "Like" this episode and Subscribe to my channel. I release a new episode every Monday.

Today I'm showing up in some luteal energy! This is the phase of the menstrual cycle where we begin to turn inward. Our intuition is heightened and we become more grounded in our bodies, as we prepare to release anything that no longer serves us. This is a form of integration, and it creates even more space within us for creativity in the next cycle that begins after our menstrual phase.
Cycle syncing is such a powerful practice for leaders, because at our core, we are space holders. We hold space for the birthing of innovations and creations. We hold space for our teams. But we cannot do this if we do not rest and integrate, and honor all phases of our cycle.
The luteal phase can be a time where shadows and patterns surface, to be healed and released. This doesn't mean that something is wrong with us. This means that we are emotionally preparing to release.
In this episode, I share a little bit about the 4 distinct phases of the menstrual cycle, but if you're interested in taking a deeper dive into this, I invite you to check out my cycle syncing course (https://www.nicolebellisle.com/cyclesyncing). In addition to the virtual course, you'll find 3 powerful how-to guides that you can read through, to begin cycle syncing.

In this episode we explore how learning to manage and read energy makes us more conscious and self-responsible leaders.
I've practiced reiki for 15 years and have worked with hundreds of clients in my former practice in Boulder, CO. As my sensitivity to energy increased, I began to bring my energy work to my executive leadership, team management, and conflict resolution, and it's been a total game-changer.
Everything is energy, and as more conscious ways of being enter the work force, you're not going to want to miss this opportunity to level up your energy management practices at work. Self-reiki has gotten me through even the darkest, most stressful days as an executive. It's improved my stress, anxiety, and sleep. It has been a critical practice in healing my burnout after a decade+ of extracting value and productivity from myself beyond what was healthy.
Let's dive in!

Welcome to episode 4 of the (K)new Self podcast! I'm your host, Nicole Bellisle, and today I'm authentically sharing the story of how I eroded trust within my own body for YEARS, but the choices I was making. I wasn't consciously aware of all of the times I was overriding and ignoring my body's true needs, but these micro choices added up and eventually led me to burnout and depression.
Learning how to cultivate trust through different choices and forming a different relationship with my body has been a journey. But it's so important that we cultivate this trust within, because it allows us to form trusting relationships with others AND create cultures of trust and dignity within our teams and companies.
Tune in for more of the story. And a disclaimer that in this episode there is mention of alcohol abuse and sexual trauma, which could be triggering to those who have shared these experiences. Please listen at your own discretion.

Welcome to episode 3 of the (K)new Self podcast!
As a human once addicted to constant doing, learning how to sit still with myself has been one of the most challenging undertakings on my journey. My entire self-identity was once wrapped up in work. My entire self-worth was once equated to how much I achieved and accomplished.
When you take all of that away, and strip away all of the noise, who are we? What is waiting for us in the stillness?
Often our deepest shadows and core patterns are just waiting for us to be still and quiet enough to surface, so that we can face them, and heal them. Integration is some of the hardest work there is, and we've gotten really good at suppressing our deepest pains and fears. But on the other side of loving ourselves through lives hardest moments and memories, is DEEP self-trust and safety within.
That is what we are exploring in today's episode.
Thanks for being here!
