To the one who is afraid of the future, 

Today is a good day to ask God to reveal his nature to you afresh. I'm sure you've heard that God you serve is one who can do exceedingly and abundantly! I'm sure you've heard that you are not a product of your past mistakes and that you can and you will move forward in Jesus name! This is all so true, but maybe you're finding it hard to believe? Ask God for a revelation of more of him! Keep your eyes on the prize ( that is Jesus) and listen to his comforting words.

To the one who is too busy. Take a breathe. Repeat after me 1-2-3. I can slow down, and I will slow down. Because it’s in the slowness that I have an appreciation for life. It is in the slowness that I recognise it is very literally a miracle that I can breathe. Did you know it's a miracle you could breathe?

This episode is entitled to the one in the wilderness, currently loving the prospect of the "what if's" because it reminds me of the hope we have in Jesus. What if God was saying, do you not see that I am working ? Do you not see that whilst you are far from everything else I am CLOSE. I am drawing you closer !!! I am drawing your heart closer to mine, nearer and dearer to my heart!!!?? Friend! Be encouraged, God is doing something in you in this season!

"You can’t control your situation, but you can control how you frame it." Living with the possibility of 'what if my next season is only a mile away', gives me a sense of hope and encourages me to keep on going! How are you going to (re)frame your situation today?

Have done everything in your power? Have you "surrendered" it to God but you are still in the same situation? Good news, it means God's not done! It's a tough situation to navigate, but in tiresome situations the only thing I can do is repeat what my heart knows to be true: God will do what he says he will. God will work it out. God will not stop being God. God will show up. God will show off. It’s just a matter of time. Believe it, declare it, live by it. God has done it. In Jesus Name! Hope this encourages you! I'm holding onto the fact that God still hasn’t done what he said he will do and God can’t not do what he said he will. Have a great day friend!

Hey friend, let me (re)introduce you to the person of Jesus. This is not about being perfect or better, but rather simply just about the recognition that all we need is in Jesus. I think the moment I began to understand this, I began to realise that I need him more today than I did yesterday and I need him more tomorrow than I did today. Jesus just makes things better. I have so many more stories of a similar sort, and genuinely one thing I can say is my life hasn’t been the same since I was introduced to the person of Jesus. My prayer is that as you listen to today's episode you would see Jesus' love in a new and profound way. IJN!

You are thoughtful not an over thinker - there is so much liberation in perspective. Being thoughtful made me realise, there is nothing inherently wrong with thinking, its just about - what am I thinking? Are my thoughts good? Or are my thoughts bad? Do my thoughts amplify me? Or do my thoughts amplify christ? And it’s easy for us to amplify oursleves especially if thats all we think about. But the next time your brain does that, why not remind yourself “ I am not alone in this. I don’t have to think alone. I am not bound by my past mistakes. I am not bound by my past choices. My future means so much more than my past. Especially when I know the one who holds my future.

Your identity means so much more! Your identity is from above! You are the very display of your father here on earth. Your identity is one who knows the father. A child of God. Your identity is that you are part of Gods people. This is who you are. Don’t let your circumstance or your situation every make you forget the hope that is in this. THIS IS YOU. YOU ARE MADE IN HIS IMAGE, God has breathed his very spirit into you, so every word you speak, every path walk is ordained by him. He can guide you, as long as you would let him. Don’t attach your identity to the things you see here on earth, there is so much more about you than what meets the eye.
