We’ve talked a lot about our husbands in this podcast. We frequently refer to our marriages/family and the work He’s doing there. We couldn’t strive to be biblical women without our men. Join us on this unique podcast as our four husbands are our guests and answer some wonderful questions about how they view Biblical Womanhood — its importance and value and the role they see us playing in living it out (both in our homes/lives now and from before we said “I do.”). 

The four of us have known each other (and the Lord) for many, many years. But our relationships both with Him and each other, didn’t happen in remarkable and grand life scenarios. No, God wove our stories together in very ordinary ways….in ordinary relationships and circumstances. He met each of us very differently but changed our lives completely. And He has used our four-way bond to unite our hearts and solidify our vision to live our lives for Him. Join us as we have a heartfelt conversation about the amazingly faithful way He has woven our lives together and used us to spur one another along.

Self-control with food is an area most women struggle with (or have struggled with or will struggle with) this side of Heaven. Self-control is a fruit of the Spirit and He does want it displayed in our lives. But boy, can it be challenging to form a healthy relationship with food. There can be embarrassment, guilt, and shame in our habits. And what’s the difference between self-control and discipline? Do you need one as well as the other? Join us as we have a very honest conversation about what self-control looks like in our lives and how we tap into the Lord’s power to grow and change.

When we get married, we can dream of “doing it right.” To be the wife and have the marriage that works just the way it does in the books we’ve read and the movies we’ve watched. It doesn’t work like that. 😊 Marriage is His plan and He knows how to work in our hearts and minds to help us be more like Him. But it takes work and time. Wouldn’t it be nice to learn some things earlier than later? Join us as we have a conversation about what we wish we would have known when we were young brides, about things we’ve learned along the way, and about what we’d tell our younger selves.

Pursuing purity in our world is not easy. The culture we live in is hyper-sexualized, full of temptation, and tells us to go ahead and do what we want to. Our thoughts, words, and actions easily lead us down the path of impurity, and the consequences can be severe. We need to be women who know how to guard ourselves against sin and temptation and cling to His Word. We also need to know how to move forward if impurity has tainted our past (or our present). This podcast is for both married and single women (**our podcast guest on this episode is a single gal who is full of wisdom and practical encouragement). However, it is not an episode for younger ears as we do talk about sexual purity/impurity. Join us as we take a close and practical look at the pursuit of purity.

Women face pressures in our world today (not just as mothers but also as single women) as they strive to live in the role God has called them to. Pressures come from family, expectations from others/self, wanting to please our children and the fear of missing out. Just to name a few. Then come the questions: Should our children play sports? Should we let them have a phone? Is there an age to start dating? We need help in practically navigating these important decisions. It’s easy to think that idolatry existed only in the Old Testament, and that it only had to do with golden calves or wooden statues. But the truth is, idolatry is alive and well in our lives today. We may not always recognize our idols, but they are most certainly there. Our hearts are drawn away from Jesus and we find them clinging to people and things. A good thing becomes a controlling thing. We need to identify them, apply His Truth to our hearts (and minds), and ultimately lay our idols at His feet.
