We live in a world that talks a lot about “self-care.” Women are encouraged to make sure they’re happy or feel good about themselves (amidst the demands of their lives). What does that mean for the Christian woman? How do you lay your life down for others (as the Bible calls us to do) and yet meet the legitimate needs in your life? Join us as we talk about the biblical principles and guidelines for finding your strength and care in Jesus.

Life on earth is short and eternity is long. In light of that, it's important that our relationships be lived for Jesus—in every season of our lives. But what does that practically look like? We want to be women who live lives that please the Lord and then pass that on to others.

Being a mother is hard work — a lifelong calling to die to yourself. We need to be faithful and steadfast in the work and yielded to what He has for us daily. As we focus on our earlier years as mothers (when our children were little and we were just starting out) we talk about our struggles and victories on the long (and wonderful) road of mothering.

Because God’s will is revealed in His Word, we need to know and understand what it says. As we learn His ways (and hear His voice), we gain a better understanding of how to make the “big” decisions in life (“Should I get married?”, “Is that the job for me?”) as well as following His will in the small, daily decisions (“What should I do today?”)
